proximity to the airport.
it was not walking distance to many restaurants.
It is not a 3 star hotel at all, worst than some Guest house I already stayed in HK, but guest house are much more cheaper, and some of them are even more clean. They are lucky, I have had the need to be in Tsing Yi, otherwise I never stayed there. Room very old and dirty. Location not convenient at all very far from MTR, only way is by taxi with around 30HKD each fare. Personal not sympathical, seems they don't like to work in here. Never, never, never again!!!!!
Info in booking.com and its website is not match.
There is convienient store below
Location and staff attitude.
I like the fact that it was only less than 14mins drive away from Disneyland. And it is only 10mins drive away from mongkok. The hotel have very high ceiling, enough space in the room and the toilet on the 7th floor .
The hotel is not at all responsive to emails. I sent 4 times requesting for information but none return. The shuttle bus to Disneyland was cancelled long time ago but it was not updated on the website. When I was there, I was disappointed to find out only when I got to the hotel.
I like the convenient of going to the airport.
I'm always given the handicapped room and there are a lot of Chinese tourist that make so much noise. Its inconvenient to use the lobby internet cos its very noisy with the chinese tour group checking in and out.
very dirty and old
I book Mexan from booking.com. And its written the final amount is 800hkd (to my email). But when I arrived, they charge me for 880hkd. At first i choose this hotel because its CHEAPER THAN RAMBLER (RAMBLER IS LOCATED EXACTLY BESIDE MEXAN.. i need hotel near airport for morning flights). If i know they will charge me additional tax cost 10%, i'd RATHER STAY AT RAMBLER FOR 900HKD (NETT), rambler's room is MUCH BIGGER even they have a sova inside their room (my friends booked the same night at rambler). MEXAN's room is VERY SMALL!! I cant even open my luggage!! The table is broken. Even the bed is not clean. That makes me alergic all night long!! THEY DONT GIVE US ANY DRINK!! As i know, most 3-5* hotel serve at least 2 bottle drinks!! And its a bit SPOOKY!! at 2.00am i hear like someone is taking a shower in my bathroom!! THANK GOD THAT I ONLY STAY FOR 5HOURS at Mexan. Because i have a flight at 7am. Never gonna stay there again!! Thanks
Big room with good amenities and good cleanliness
no hotel shuttle bus, location is not good
the worst hotel I have stayed in my life - I understand I get what I pay for. However as a 3 star hotel, I did not expect no hot water for shower, the room is extremely dirty. Also, other hotel guests are very very noise.
Dirty rundown terrible
It was my nightmare to stay there for 3 nights.
Low efficiency staff for check in , I need standing to wait at least 20 mins . There have three front desk staff , and just 1 guest infront of me . All the staff seem dreaming . The feeling of the hotel just same as a cheap cheap hotel in Shenzhen . Many many china guest inside the hotel and talking loudly .
When I arrived, they did not appear to have my reservation, despite me showing them booking.com confirmation. My 6yo daughter and I waited about 30 mins at the front desk till they were able to resolve their issue and make various phone calls. eventually we got a room. I agree with another reviewer that it appears to be a bit clumsy of an operation and just full of mainland chinese. But I guess you get what you pay for in HK
