Helpful staff, full kitchen equipment.
Bit worn out interiors and bathroom.
Basic but adequate. Value for money. Kennedy Town is now considered TRENDY, with tons of Restaurants, Convenient Stores, Bakeries even 2 massage shops all around the hotel. Staff are helpful and will ring you if you left anything behind. Checkout at 12noon. New MTR station just opened 4 mins walk away since 28Dec2014. Also trams nearby will take you to Central in 20 mins. Rainfall showerhead offers good pressure. Room is compact but has plenty of storage cupboards. BYO milk and coffee/ tea bags.
Linen supposed to get changed once a week on a Monday but mine was never changed. Shower curtain fiddly. It is too long so would easily block the drain hole if you let it hang naturally. Aircon noisy even if you switched it off. Floorboards need mopping as housekeepers only ever vacuum. Howeer, none of the above would deter me from coming back.
1) Location is less than 10 mins walk to either taxi stand, bus stop and Kennedy Town MTR. 2) Stayed at the 2bdrm aptmnt, Bedrms are small but none of us were complaining as there is a living rm. 3) Dirty dishes were cleaned while we were out. 4) Staff were helpful, provided us with an adaptor for my travel appliance which I almost regretted for not bringing.
1) Lobby is too small to manouvre around especially when I have 3 luggages, a stroller and other people trying to go thru the lift. 2) My son lost his Toy and we were searching everywhere and ended up looking under the couch, there was thick dust and dirty sock.
really comfortable bed and pillows, nice smooth bed linen, immaculately clean every day, and very helpful staff. And good to have some kitchen facilities - we made our own breakfast every day. Some very good restaurants nearby, the waterfront just around the corner, and good tram and bus links. MTR coming soon we gather.
No shaver point in bathroom, and maybe a seat in the foyer for those awaiting taxis. Also, only three rooms on each floor but anyone entering a room cannot prevent the door from slamming.
Comfort Good price Good service Good space at 2 room apartment
The kitchen area which they provided cooking utensils but cant cook due to the smoke detectors everywhere in the area
we had booked a deluxe studio: kitchennette very convenient (utensils/plates, hotplate, microwave etc), a range of other amenities (washing m/c, iron, free wifi, regular servicing), very helpful front office staff, decently maintained property, lots of restaurants around though few veg options, VnGo right next door for quick essentials, lots of transport options in the vicinty overall happy with our decision to stay here
takes some time to figure out the location; room may appear a bit small but seems normal by hk standards; rooms not very sound proof;
Overall a nice experience
Hong Kong can get quite humid, so the cool air conditioner in the room provided a welcome relief. My friend lives in Kennedy Town, so Mia Casa was ideal for my requirement. The staff are hospitable, the rooms are clean and the price was excellent. It's quite easy to get to Central via a taxi, tram or bus.
Kinda far from mtr. Hotel not sure provide transport to at least nearest mtr station.
Apartment offered space, sitting area, kitchen and balcony on 17th floor with views (between other buildings) of the harbour. Location suited us to visit in Nearby Pok Fu Lam area. Travel to Central etc easy by taxi, bus or tram.
Nothing to not like. No in house bar, restaurant etc, but plenty nearby.
1) plenty of restaurants and cafes, as well as supermarkets nearby. 2) wi-fi connection was quick and excellent. 3) staff were always friendly.
1) the room was extremely and almost ridiculously small. 2) a kettle, a hair dryer and one cup was provided but no plates, spoons or forks were provided at all. 3) bed linen was not changed for the entire week we were there and for the first four days, no one told us we had to give our room key back in order for house keeping to enter our room and provide us with fresh bed linen.
room service/good wifi/very kind receptionist
Very friendly staffs and the kids loves taking the tram. Such an experience for the whole family.
My room in the top floor was impeccable, needless to say and the cleaning staff makes me feel at home. The pillow, blankets and beds are of top quality.
The noise from the heating/cooling fans was extremely bothering. The A/C control was just unbelievably chaotic. Puts my 40 years experience as a controls engineer to the task. You guys must make the the distribution of heat in each room WORK in accordance with the features in the wall-mounted control station. Or else, change it to a simple on-off control device that works.
Clean, new hotel, convenience to shopping, easy public transportation
room is bit small
The size of the room was reasonable. Location was good. Access to the main street and selection of foods. The staff was friendly and hotel room was clean
the cost of the room is a bit too high due to its location out of the city n prime area.
Location is great as it is nearby major bus stops. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness in the room is generally good.
Size of the room is a bit too small. The mattress is a bit too hard particularly for side sleepers. The washing machine wasn't functioning well although it's free of charge.
Quite new-ist Helpful staff Close to local shops (literally just downstair)
Just one lift
The staff was helpful. Location was central to restaurants and transport by bus. Room was not too small and had lots of storage space.
Hotel didn't provide tea and coffee or bottled water. Couldn't wash up as there was no washing detergent. Nobody is going to buy detergent for a few days' stay. Map of the area would have come in handy.
