Location Cleaning staff - efficient & friendly
Had some issues with hot water - there was none 1st night we arrived, it was fixed by 3rd day and staff were responsive, if we had been there for a shorter stay though it would have been a bigger issue
The bed was comfortable, location was prime, very quiet peaceful sleep. The bathroom and shower were very clean and beautiful tiles. The day staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
Some things in the room were broken such as lights not working and TV fixed with duck tape. The room was very tiny but then again all rooms are tiny in Hong Kong. If you maneuver you will be able to fit a suitcase in the room an dbl comfortable. The night staff at the front desk was rude and not accommodating to answer questions.
Convenient. Cheap. Felt like a very big train compartment.
It was tiny! The room as about 6 inches wider than the single bed.
Location is best!
Room size is extra small, closet size. Don't expect an smille. Needs some refurbish.
Location: Sheung Wan is a very nice area with lots of good restaurants and bars It's only one stop away from Central Really easy to explore Hong Kong Island from this location King Size Bed Excellent quality for money given the location. The room is small but like everywhere else in HK. We were very pleased with this hotel
Small room Equipment could be a little better
Location was very close to Sheung Wan underground station.
My single bed room was a little small, but good enough for a few nights
good location, there is everything for good staying
too expensive, but it is Hong Kong
close to MTR; walking distance to ferries
Wooden window blinders, but actually you need to cover this view! Aged- you can only guess that it`s the same room as shown in the internet!
Location was good. Room was fine for the price. Small but beds were comfy and sheets clean. Bathroom was good.
The staff were terrible. Very unfriendly. Receptionist couldn't even answer the most simple of questions about the local area basically because she couldn't be bothered. Very rude. To be fair everyone we encountered in Hong Kong was rude but you expect the reception staff to greet you when you walk by in the morning or answer your questions with a smile. Also when we were leaving the cleaners practically threw us out of our room. They came in and ushered us out the door!
the room had no windows
Location Good local feel
Noisy cleaners in the morning Small room, bathroom took up more space than sleeping area- but what you would expect for HK and a small price to pay for convenience!
Location, near to MTR station
- smelly room - small (but that's very common for HK hotel) - maintenance needed (you can strongly feel the room is old) - air con is not working at all - you can find much better room with this price
Only the location was good
I stayed in a room with a single bed and room had an unpleasant smell, noisy air conditioner, small bathroom. I didnt like the room at all. I would give this hotel one star!!
Got good facilities. Location is amazing.
Cleanliness , ambience. There was something that always made you feel that the hotel was very cheap. Stay only if you dont want to spend too much money elsewhere. Also room sizes were cramped, which is the thing with all HK hotels. Seemed a bit shady to me.. but served good purpose of minimizing cost.
Not much. The tv was too hard to work, the room tiny and the receptionists unfriendly and unhelpful.
Before going to sleep I asked how long it would take to get to the airport via the mtr. I was told 1 hour. With an hour and a half to go I brought my baggage down and asked the receptionist to ring for a taxi. She said she couldnt unless I wanted to take it right to the airport and told me to go outside on the street and hail a cab. Well I tried and there were far more people trying to get a cab than there were cabs available. I went back in and complained. She sent a cleaner out to hail one. The cleaner finally returned with one but the driver would not go to the mtr (too close) but only to the airport. I let it go. When I finally agreed to take a cab to the airport and the receptionist rang for one, they wouldn't come as they were too busy. The upshot was that I had to find a cab again myself (desperation helped) and take it all the way to the airport (320 hk dollars) and I arrived only a bit late but very flustered and annoyed.
... you will be able to feel somewhat comfortable here. Beds are comfy and AC is good. Cleaning crew was excellent since they restocked what we needed just in time and didn't move too much of our stuff around while organizing it. Location is not bad since you can walk to Lan Kwai Fong and Central and the MTR station is very closeby (across from Circle K and diagonal from the 7-Eleven). They are also close to the ferry terminal. As long as you don't stay in your room for too long, this is not a bad hotel.
Bathroom gets very cramped. The shower works if you're a petite person, but last year we saw an American guy come out of his room shaking his head. He was most likely taller than the shower and couldn't move around. Even for me, I kept banging my elbows around the shower and it kept flooding because it took a while for warm water. At least we had warm water as opposed to last year. The shower nozzle to change it from a handheld to the ceiling one was broken, but handheld is better anyway.
Really small room and only bed without any facility. I could not move in the room for auwful small space
The location is perfect, directly MTR station Sheung Wan.
The aircondition needs to be serviced because ther was must in the room.
Very centrally located
Avoid the single room if you're claustrophobic. The room is as large as a single bed... and that's it.
Free wifi, location, ease of use, helpful staff.
There was some construction going on outside which was a little noisy.
General dowdy appearance of room
Super king size bed was so comfortable .
The room was so small
location friendly staff you could open a window good shower and bathroom
nite time is really dead, there is a 7eleven at least no convenient mirror in bathroom tiny space
Good location and helpful staff. Close to many amenities. Small space was put to good use.
The bed mattress was very hard. Noise from the trams 2 blocks away were loud enough to wake me up early in the morning.
