Free wifi and convenient location.
No free toiletries and pillows are way too soft. The room is just like the pictures.
great location, fair price, can't beat that.
pretty much everything else
Location was excellent, close to everything. Staff was helpful. Had a good view of the city. Wifi was strong.
Room was too "mini". Room is ok if ur a solo traveller. Comfort room was transparent ,it was awkward to see my fiance doing his 'thing'.no free toiletries or complimentary water. Staff did not let me know thru email that they already charged my card prior to our arrival.
i don't like the room.it smell of cigarette.
Location. Room with city view Free wiFi
Small room but you get over that. Walls are flimsy so heard snoring and phone calls either side.
Location-close to central MRT, fast Wifi in rooms, clealiness
Rooms too small, not suitable for a couple, no mirror in bathroom so difficult to shave, deposit of $400 during the stay, steep steps to climb so can be challenging if you have lot of luggage
Location paramount. Great view (if city view selected). Helpful staff.
Cramped for two people but doable (as is most of HK for this locality and this price range). No in-house laundry service.
Read other's reviews & was wary before booking, but ended up being a great choice. Can't beat the price for this hotel in Central location. Yes there's hills & stairs, but not a problem for this price. Room size is adequate for solo traveler. WiFi was quick & reliable, and staff spoke excellent English. Great location as its walking distance to metro, airport train station, ferry & peak tram. I will choose this hotel again next time I visit Hong Kong.
For the hotel's price compared to other hotel rates in Hong Kong, there really isn't much you can complain about.
well located clean room and bed sheets. wifi efficient staff
nothing really... the room have little to none sound isolation... which i didnt mind really. but bothered my neighbour who banged on the wall when i switched the tv on at.... 6pm...
Great location, rooms are clean, and room is tiny but practical. Excellent value per money for HK standards. Manage your expectations, this is a simple business hotel for a short stay.
Ask for a room facing the street. If your room faces the alleyway can be quite noisy at night as there are some bars clubs very near.
Location Value for the money Friendly staffs Free WiFi
Very noise air-conditioner Toilet smell very bad The room is not very clean No mirror in the bathroom for shaving purposes Very small room
Wifi connection, wonderful location (next to Soho, walking distance to HK highlights, very central!) , comfortable big bed enough for 2...This hotel is all what we expected, this has been our 2nd time in Hong Kong and we will stay here for sure next time! 100% recommended!
Nothing, everything fine. We don't understand reviews complaining about room sizes. The name says: "MINI Hotel Central"!!!!
close to MTR station, and shops, cafe and restaurants which was great.
when I turn in bed its make a squeaky noise. The worst part was the noise insulation from room to room as it is very bad, you could easily hear your neighbours doors slaming their people next door, laughing and also music on during the night. Out of the nights we stayed their we had issues 80% of the time getting disturbed by noise during he night. Stayed here before but not sure if I will consider this place again. Maybe could try the one in Causeway Bay next time if I need accommodation again.
clean room, good view, helpfull staff.
more info should be available for travelling and tours as well as general info on hk and surrounding islands
-clean rooms -safe and very central
-tiny rooms -thin walls -expensive (value for money) -nothing for handycaped people (stairs)
efficient staff free wi-fi location
dirty carpet on corridor
Smart, compact design, great location next to LKF. Great value, hard to find something in Hong Kong at that price.
A/C vents would benefit from a paint touch up. It would make a huge difference and make the room feel more upscale.
If you can offer just a very little facility such as tooth brush and tooth paste , it will well equipped with the spirit of what a hotel basic needs.
Mini hotel is ideally located near Wyndham street and Lan Kwai Fong. As far as Hong Kong goes it's value for money and not a bad size
If I was to complain about anything it would be noisy Air Con machine in the room - kept me awake at night a little but as I was out partying every evening not exactly the end of the world
There was no heater in the room - it was a little bit chilly in January.
I like how the hotel is close to central MTR station which is very convenient if you're travelling to lots of Hong Kong tourist attractions. They provide 2 x fresh bath towels and a bathmat daily and make up your room on request. They provide a small kettle and paper cups, hair dryer. They provide some hangers (not coat hangers) for you to hang jackets etc.
Hotel does not provide toiletries, no fridge, no laundry facilities (which means handwashing clothes in the shower), no hand towel and soap by the washbasin for handwashing. Not all hotel staff spoke English, found myself misunderstood a few times even though I spoke Cantonese and English. Downside to location- lots of steps (heavy/ chunky suitcases beware). It was very difficult to get decent rest after nye (LKF is close by and all I got was constant cars honking for hours for 2 nights after nye.) The area was also fenced off around Christmas and New Years due to police controlling direction and flow of foot traffic because of the proximity to LKF party/ drinking area.
I got a great offer at booking.com and it was perfect value for the money. The lobby and rooms are nicely decorated, the staff speaks good english, wifi worked perfectly and even the bed was not the usual chinese style piece of plywood, but almost soft. Very clean rooms, ok corridoors, nice lobby. The location is perfect for partying late at central, just a 3min walk from the bar district and 10 min from soho
Not sure if I would pay the usual price for this. I got a good offer but the regular fee is ridiculously high. There is no fridge or minibar in the rooms and the toilet only has a glass wall without curtains which can be very awkward when travelling with a friend.
The location was convenient and the staff service was excellent. They were very helpful and polite, and went out of their way to help us. Value for money too!
The cleanliness of the bathrooms. needed a good scrub and that the toilet/shower smelled (due I believe to a pour water trap). Providing a travel map and some tourist type of info would be great also.
