The Mira Hong Kong  

This is my 2nd experience to stay at mira, but this time is diff I bring my lil one along.. Mira has a very good in services and caring. During my stay at mira , my daughter got a teribble high fever on midnight. With a caring and patient they escort us to the nearest hosipital.. I'm really grateful.. Besides the good services , there's a very comfy room and good location.. So looking forward to mira again :).

This is a really nice hotel with a perfect location. The rooms are great and the breakfast is wonderful. I will for sure use this hotel again next time I come to hk.

It was an experience to stay in a Design hotel. I felt mostly welcomed and everybody was very nice. Excellent idea to have open bar on the 5th floor so a smoker can smoke in an ouside place without getting out of the hotel. I am sure the Hong Kong smokers-travellers will apreciate a lot!

I was surprised by the feelling of the towels which was supposed to be smooth and soft as the sheets and everything else inside the hotel but they had the impresion of "most washed" probably is the mashine or the washing soap they use.

Style and design of the room were excellent. It is right in the heart of Hong Kong, good for all you may think of in that city: Business, shopping, sight seeing, night life...

Comfortable bed. Generally friendly staff, although perhaps a bit reserved. Good eating options inside the hotel.

Your home page plays music automatically when loading. In my opinion, no web pages should ever do that whatsoever. If I was browsing for a suitable hotel myself, this would certainly make me choose another hotel. The pillows in the bed are too soft. They should be more bouncy. Aircon / heating system was a bit noisy. The hotel did not allow late checkout. Mira's own survey did not allow me to pass this information, indicating that they don't take guest's feedback seriously.

I found the Mira to be an excellent hotel , great design and comfort a different type of 5star and it's right in the centre of the action in HK . Sometimes the room rates are a little high for me especially if I am booking more than one room but I always keep an eye on the rates and can change my dates to fit

There is a lack of seating in the main area for business meetings

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was relaxing and stylish. Room was fabulous - met all expectations!!

Good location, helpful staff, good facilities, good food

Original booking was cancelled apparently because of issue with my credit card. I was not informed of any issue when they arose but received a cancellation notification 24 hrs before my flight. Thankfully the staff from the booking agent and at the Mira sorted our the error and my room was reinstated.

The room is ok

Staff is professional, efficient, and knowledgeable of guests' needs. Location is prime- plenty of choice to dine & wine, shop, and also for walking, green park is just across the road in the very center of the city, waterfront is a few blocks away

We could not manage to arrange some natural ventilation- open a window, as it would not hold in the open position and would close back. Without natural ventilation sleep might be not as comfortable, and even if we did manage to open the window we would not have slept any better anyway, with the busy Nathan Road just beneath. Well, you can't have it all in Hong Kong which is so limited in space, so not really a complaint but just an observation.

The indoor heated pool and the location.

The price is a little bit too expensive. Anything around hkd1,800 to hkd2,200 per night is more reasonable. The corridors are also a bit too dim.

Location is the best feature of this hotel. Just across Kowloon Park and only about 2 minutes away from the nearest mtr. All around it are restaurants of all kinds and prices. Also, the hotel is modern in design, new and neat, and I like it.

While I like the modern design of the hotel, I just found the over-all lighting of the hotel a bit gloomy, especially in the lobby and along the hallways/corridors. Color palette of the hotel is also on the dark, heavy, gloomy side (black, browns, dark greens, etc.). Good thing that inside the room, the color combination is lighter, brighter.
