Nathan Hotel  

I liked the location of Nathan Hotel being just around the corner from Nathan Road. They have a Starbuck's around the corner on Nathan Road which connected directly downstairs to them. They are in the heart of the Nathan shopping district where everything in Kowloon is in walking distance. I received free breakfasts every morning which were open buffets. The room was very clean daily. The hotel staff was very hospitable. There were 2 computers to access in the lobby. Although I did not use it, there was a gym. They have a tour desk available located right near the front desk. I was so glad that I choose Nathan Hotel. It made my vacation so much more enjoyable and safe particularly because I am a single traveler.

I do not have any complaints. I would go back there to stay again.

The rooms are spacious, The location is excellent and they have nice selection for the buffet-breakfast.

The hotel is being remodeled but not everythings, airconditing is bad, room are smelly and beds are old and very...very noisy. I had to move during my stay three times to different rooms looking for quiet bed, my sleep was disturbed. I could have moved to other hotel, but we were on a family group and their method of payment has locked us in their hotel. Their staff are main... Last day of my stay I asked housekeeping to reservice the rooms.. With drinking water and my chek out at 2:00 pm, The reply, sorry your last day you get no water.Air conditioning shut it's self off late at night and I asked to repair it. I left with problem remaining...

The room was larger than expected with a view of the Wing On department store right across from the hotel. Shower is strong and bathroom amenities are good (E.G. shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, toothbrushes with toothpastes, comb). My room is on the 8th floor and conveniently situated right next to the elevators. The cleaning personnel were discreet and polite and did a good job cleaning my room daily.

I signed up through booking.com for a special rate that included breakfast and wireless internet connection. The former is passable. Breakfasts are almost always the same items, E.G. eggs and cold cuts, Chinese fried noodles with congee or oatmeal, some deep fried items, tomato beans, green salad with sides such as canned corn kernels, beans, some pastries and bread. It got boring after the third day. My sister who did not select the free breakfast got a much cheaper rate. The wireless connection was weak and I got kick out regularly 3 to 4 times each night when I access the Internet. On the 7th day of my 10 day stay, one of the two elevators was out of service. Another traveler told me that he stayed at the hotel before and it is a common occurrence. The staff also used the same elevator as the service elevator was also out of service. Imagine 14 floors of guest and workers using the same elevator!

location; friendly staff;clean room; comfortable bed, mutiple plugs in grand Nathan Room ( for computer/cell phone/camera/hair curling iron) but not in other type of the room

light switches; no plugs---only one in room unit; no plug in bathroom for hair curling; inefficient hair dryer: didn't give a break when second time booking the room again( one day apart) ----price from $858 increase to $1614/night. Teach me a lesson that booking earlier and never change/modify

Clean Hotel, good value for the money, good location

Staff were courteous and acknowledge guests in hotel.

We had itch after sleeping on the bed and we realized the linens was not changed during our 4 nights stay. On top of head board were lots of dust and was not cleaned for months. We suspect there was dust mite.

1....spacious room . upgraded without asking . 2....proximity to mtr . 3....some staff very helpful ,especially english speaking ones

1...not enough english speaking staff . 2...poor breakfast spread 3...too expensive , not value for money 4 ..staff have poor knowledge of good eating places around hotel . 5 ..too vague about directions to popular tourist spots especially on how to get there .....(comparing to other hotels' staff in vicinity )

The staff, location and amenities all excellent, no issues at all. Breakfast could be a greater variety but not a major concern. If you want shopping, markets, lights, camera and action stay here you won't be disappointed. Close to everything, walking, taxi or subway you can get anywhere on Kowloon or Hong Kong Island very easy.

Breakfast was a little too consistant, could have been a bit more of a variety, but this was a bonus so not a major concern.

Our toilet was choked on our first night of stay and housekeeping was very prompt to clear the choke without having us to move out and change room.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly porters. Very close to Airport Express Shuttle bus stand (about 20 m) and A21 bus stand(about 50 m). However, a bit far from MTR, it took about 4 min-walk to Jordan Station. I traveled with my 7-month baby, the hotel also provided baby crib without any extracharge. We got a special package included good breakfast buffet and free wifi. We definately recommended Nathan Hotel to who are looking for a reasonable price hotel.

We arrived for our 4 day holiday at 1 am.The check in was speedy and we were given an upgrade, which was a bonus. The rooms were a good size, clean and well presented. The tour guide on the lobby floor was extremely helpfull..Good location for the main places of interest.My wife and I were very contented with our stay.We would not hesitate to use again.All my enquiries prior to arrival were speedily replied to.Welldone and thanks to all at the Nathan hotel

Location of Nathan Hotel is quite good, near shopping center. The service is very good, they offerred the connecting rooms for us.

The quality and taste of breakfood should be improved. Strong smell of smoke of previous guest was still on the bed. The sound of karaoke on 15th floor disturbed us on 14th floor.
