Sitting atop a 6-story shopping center and the Jordan MTR (subway) Train Station, the Prudential Hotel offers panoramic views of Kowloon. This hotel along Nathan Road features a seasonal rooftop pool....

The building lift is too small. Hotel surrounding building' environment are not pleasant.
The room is tidy and clean up every day. Location is good, really at the center of Tsim Sha Tsui. Free wifi although I didn't use it since I have my own 4G. Bathroom is pretty standard with soap and shampoo provided.
When I just checked-in, I think the bed sheet wasn't changed to a new one. The room is just extremely small that there isn't any space to open your luggage. You must use your bed to open your luggage. The building is old and there's only one lift to access the floor, you must queue. And I was charged extra on the bill (I had called booking.com to recalculate for me, they confirmed there's an extra charge), when I asked the hostel staff there, she had no idea and not able to speak English well. Nvm...
Friendly staff were helpful and let us store our bags for a good spell after we checked out
There is only one elevator to get to the guesthouse on the 11th floor and the line can get long at times.
i love the location of this guest house so much! less than one minute to reach tsim sha tsui station and the surrounding is so happening. I was there during count down for New Year! just walking distance to avenue of the star and can easily saw the fireworks!
just have two lift to go up and down of the building. take longer time for waiting.
Given the price, the room was clean and I was happy to have storage space under the bed. The location is convenient too.
Veeery difficult to find the hotel. The entrance is through a very dodgy market, via a lift on the 11th floor. Took me ages to figure it out and while you go in and out of the hotel it doesn't feel safe..Also I didn't like shower and toilet in the same spot-that was weird and looked unhygienic
Very very small!
The kind reception showed us the room and great wifi. She giggled and said "Hong Kong size" and it sure was. 6feet by 6 feet plus tiny bathroom. You get what you paid for in Hong Kong and we made it an adventure. Lift is small but they have a control system so everyone gets on. Be patient. It's all an adventure, metro, buses, taxi, mall, no-commission money exchange, ferry, food... Everything is RIGHT THERE.
The indians asking you for Rolex, tailored suits and handbags non stop. And you know it's annoying when you are married to an Indian man who is super annoyed with his own countrymen bothering everyone. It's crowded.
I like the cleanliness & location very convenient for us.
The lift too small, not convenient for guest.
Great location. Great staff.
No window in the room. The toilet did not work.Poor security in the lobby (touts try to sell anything to you). Small lift (only one lift with a queue).
Was available; good location
Hard to find, you always have to wait for the elevator, very small...
It was nice, clean and on great location - just steps from ferry terminal, MRT and TST bus terminal.
Just be aware it is located in Chungking Mansion (you can google) but anyway except people trying agressively sell fake watches and even hasis, NOTHING unsecure happend at location, just a shock after arrival :-)
The facilities were clean, nice and well run. I slept in a single room which was fairly small, but offered a clean bed, bathroom, A/C, and TV. The space was clearly remodeled or resurfaced recently, making it a nicer option in the Chungking Mansions. The massive hostel space is somewhat of a ghetto of hostels, and this proved to be a clean, relatively quiet and well-maintained space in the middle of an otherwise hectic and overrun space. The owners clearly take pride in offering a good service.
The downstairs area. No one mentioned anything about it. It looks like a dodgy place especially at night.
Room 1106 was on back of building and more quiet than room I am usually given when I stay there.
Price was $98 US & included 10% fee for use of credit card. July 2014/2 months prior fee was 3% for use of credit card. Paid more than I usually do there to ensure that I had a room. The Booking .Com site said no single rooms were available. There actually were single rooms available as I learned from owner after my daughter booked non-refundable double room for me. I paid and was billed for double room but was given single one double bed room #1106.
One of the best in chumpkin mansion
little bit small but all the guest houses are like that
Great staff, very accommodating
The location is near to all tourist attraction & just infront of MTR.
I do not like the pillow, it is very hard. We sleep for 2 days not using it. The elevator is also a waste of time to wait and crowded on the lobby.
Air-condition was broken.
Very clean. Rooms renovated. It seems that the place is very well taken care off. If you don't mind the lack of space or the touts downstairs I could even recommend this...
Extremely small rooms. First room was ok, even if almost claustrophobic. It had no windows and that was good as there was no noise either. In the second room we couldn't sleep because of noise from outside and air conditioning. Both common problems in most of the guesthouses though in Hong Kong. Position is very central which is kind of good, but Chungking mansion is the only place with lots of touts around and that's quite annoying.
Very long waiting for the elevator Bed length is less than 1.8m You feel like in jail.
The interior is nice made with very nice tiles and marley. Location is also very central and accessible to anywhere in HK.
Room are terribley small and due to the lack of space it smells damped. Toilet and shower is in the same area herewith the floor and the toilet seat is most of the time wet.
Staff especially Bell and Owner were great and very helpful and understanding. Location was good and facilities and wifi very good.
Entrance to building and all the hawkers.
This is by far one of the better hostels in Chunking Mansions. The staff went out of there way to look after us. The rooms are great for what you pay. Definitely recommend to other students visiting Hong Kong. Don't get put off by the appearance of Chunking Mansions from the outside.
