cleanliness, friendly staff, simple yet filling buffet breakfast, relaxing atmosphere accessibility from front gate to hotel; one needs to go up and down the stairs to reach the hotel which is inconvenient especially when you have luggages to carry

Smell and Feel of cleanliness, that's about the only positive thing I could think of about this hotel. Probably my worse hotel experience so far. Very stiff beds (all <30" single beds, no double or queen beds). Hard ceramic floor tiles. Roof windows make it impossible to sleep after daybreak. Terrible breakfast experience. Room service was under par, and only operated from 4pm to 10pm. Balconies have no sense of privacy, every so often people wounder across my balcony from neighboring rooms, noting that the only view you see is three sides of bush. Doors are not sound proof so you will enjoy the hallway noise all day/night long. Getting there costs hk$ 30 to get on the island, so taxis are not easy to take or call, so you ride the Park service to the closest mtr station "Tsing Yi". And with all those negatives, we just could not enjoy our stay nor want to visit the adjacent park. Would Always warn of this hotel and never visit it again.

Although the resort is close to the bridge, the other side has some fresh air which is not available in hotels in metropolitan Hong Kong Island or Kowloon. I didn't like that there were no flyscreens fitted to the windows. Flyscrfeens will enable air flow between the room and outside.

its a theme park on its own, things can be done at a slow relaxing phase. -transportation since this is regulated area, we went back to the airport instead by bus to go to hongkong proper. its easier when your travelling with kids and elderly -from our arrival by bus to check out, no one will bother to help you will your luggage. its up to you to carry from start to end. -vendo machines are octopus card, so get one before going to that area -not wheel chair friendly

We were there as a family and so the time was well spent walking around. There was a lot more to do there than I understood from online or the brochure. I was a little confused about the best way to get to the hotel. The brochure stated there were taxi, bus, mtr - but it would be nice to have a transportation layout online from the mtr (with exit letters from the station), Island Park bus numbers and any discounts available on fares while staying at the resort. I did call the front desk and received immediate help. It would be helpful to have both the resort office and park office numbers on printed materials.

My family most specially was happy with our choice of hotel. Comfort, cleanliness, unpolluted air, the scenery, its so quite during sleeping hours, food and restaurants close by, the beach walks. Breakfast was ok. What i like most is the price, value for money. Bus ride to mrt station specially to tsuen wan was so crowded. Hard to find taxi. No access to noah's ark park.

It captures the children's imagination. Bunk beds are clean and comfortable. We were prepared to walk a lot from the bus stop and was surprised that it wasn't so bad. Most of the 5 min walk was on level ground, with lift or escalator choices. Only the entrance to Noah's ark has 2 short flights of stairs (about 12 steps each). Resort is reasonably priced with generous discounts for hotel guests. It has lots of informative, interactive displays on space, archaelogy and ecology; akin to science centre set-up. The segment on outer space "Solar Tower" is even more up-to-date and detailed than our local science centre displays. The "Treasure House" is suitable for young children, could spend a day teaching children from exhibits. The "Expo hall" is interesting for older teenagers and adults. The outdoor park (free entry) next to Noah's Ark also have science tidbits which made a simple walk in the park educational. Great place with many teaching/learning opportunities for all. The fact that it is on an eco-island really made the place even more beautiful and pleasant - quite unlike mainland Hong Kong with its narrow, crowded streets and dirty buildings. We will definitely go back again, this time perhaps for a week to fully enjoy the resort and the great outdoors. Nothing.

Its unique Noah's Ark themed hotel. Very Clean. Secure. No worries. 5-minute walk to bus stop. Buses to airport and MTR. 20-minute walk to ferry terminal. Ferry to Hong Kong Island. Enjoyed the simple breakfast. No direct access to MTR. Need to carry baby stroller up & down some steps.

I like the ark's concept, the accesibility and efficiency of transportation is also a factor, best place to stay if you want countryside and away from the noise. The hotel is not written in their map, the TV channels are few and almost all are in chinese language.. I noticed upon my checkout there is no such thing as fallow-up,they don't bother to ask about the stay.

The bathroom is excellent, no mist at all, meaning ventilation from from exhaust fan is fantabulously strong. minor thing like main bathroom door cannot close properly, someone must push from the outside.

The hotel provides very good value. What we paid for an 8-person dormitory type room cost around as much as a small hostel in the city. The staff is very nice. If they sometimes forget some amenities in the rooms you ask them for help and they are very accommodating. It is really a perfect quiet getaway far from the city right next to a beach. The Noah's Ark resort is great for small kids. Hong Kong Disneyland is also very easy to get to. Transportation to the city is possible via ferry or bus to a nearby mtr train station. The local nearby residential community has playgrounds, a grocery, coffee shop, restaurants and laundry service. Nice view too. At the time, the hotel also had discount deals at the Noah's Ark resort. Noah's Ark is far from the bus stop and a bit difficult to get to if you have a lot of bags. Bus stops and schedules are a bit confusing. There is no mtr train nearby. The pier where you can take a ferry to Central is also a long walk from the hotel as well as the local grocery, coffee shop and restaurants. You have to enter a building, go down escalators, walk outside & down a flight of stairs till you get to the back entrance of the resort then the hotel is on the top floor. If you're backpacking or traveling light this is not a problem. Room amenities are basic.
