The location is perfect for transiting passengers who need extended break before continuing with further long flights. We have been staying at the hotel especially when we were heading to places requiring winter clothings. We will pack up our coats and other requirements (which are not available in our country) from the tung chung shopping centers.

The location was conveniently close to the airport, which is why we chose to stay there on our way home from mainland China. The hotel was not good value - the room was like an upscale version of an ibis room, with the toilet in one frosted glass stall and the shower in another. The shower leaked all over the floor of the room. We stayed at the Hong Kong Salisbury ymca a week earlier. That hotel far exceeded our expectations and we wish we had stayed there again, even though it was much further from the airport.

Great location for early morning transfer to airport. Good to visit the Buda and also some shopping to pass away spare time. Lovely comfortable room.

It's very near to the airport while the hotel has lots of facilities nearby. Airport Shuttle is free. Shopping centre is just next door. It's walking distance to cable car station to Ngong Ping 360. It's a definitely better choice if we'd like to go to Hongkong Disneyland.

I am very pleased to have the opportunity to thank the staff at the hotel for their efficient help when I left my handbag in the foyer on my departure from Hong Kong. A phone call from a Qantas staff member at the airport resulted in prompt action by your reception staff to locate the handbag and have it sent to the airport on the next bus. Please convey my most sincere thanks to everyone involved in his unfortunate and worrying incident, including the bus driver and the girl who delivered the bag to me. Stayed at the Novotel Citygate hk a day before my flight back to Sydney. It is a good location for when you arrive to hk late at night or a day before your early morning flight as they have a free shuttle bus that takes only a few minutes to/from the airport. It is also connected to factory outlets to many luxury goods shops and has many places to eat. If you have the time for sighseeing you can visit the surrounding areas where they have a few attractions for the kids and family. The hotel itself is very modern and nice. Rooms are very spacious even for Australian standards. The staff are courteous and efficient. Nothing in particular but if I was seeing hk I would choose a hotel on hk Island or Kowloon as travelling to them would take too long from this hotel.

The hotel was better than I expected. I really appreciated Fanny's immediate e-mailed reply to my request for information concerning whether I needed to contact Novotel for shuttel service on arrival at Hong Kong Airport. I suggest that you advise new arrivals at your Hotel (especially as they enter their darkened room), that entire room lighting depends on their door key being properly inserted into wall asconvenietly indicated by a small red light... I would have saved my having to return to reception desk for information... See note above. I see that I was given a Standard Double Room when I needed only a single. Also the bill showed "2" persons using the holtel while it should have been "1".

It was attached to a shopping mall and it was very close to the gondola up to the Big Buddha. Also it was a 5 min ride from the airport.
