Panda Hotel  

The cleanliness, the location and the staff is friendly. Although it relatively far from Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, it easily connected via MTR. Furthermore the hotel provided free shuttle to Kowloon

The hotel is great value for money. The pool and gym is brand new and really nice. Of course the view is of residential housing, but still, a lot has been done to make the pool area very attractive with nice lounge area and sunbeds. The pool is 18-20 meters long and almost as wide, so huge for a hotel pool. The gym is well equiped. Rooms are nothing fancy, but great matress, very clean and slightly renovated bathrooms. The location is a bit far from the center but is it 5 min walk (on elevated walking bridge syste straight from hotel lobby) to the red line metro stop and 9 min to the purple line. Also convenient with Children. Takes less than half an hour to kowloon and hong kong station (next to Central) with a change to orange line on the way. The is a mall at the buttom of the hotel (nothing fancy, but still nice) and there are plenty of restaurants both in the building and within 5 min walk. Even an kfc and McD if you feel the urge. For traveling with friends, the twin rooms are plenty ful and works well.

If you don't like public transport or a short commute this is not hte place for you. The rooms could be pimped up a bit and probably not ideal for a romantic holiday.

Shuttle bus to major shopping points price is fair

Located in a old industrial area a bit far from major shopping points security staffs in lobby are not as friendly as other staffs my family members and I have three rooms in this hotel for more than 20 days in a month,we were asked to leave the lobby one day when there was no water in the whole building and serviveman coming in and out of your room and we have to chatted in the lobby

During my stay,i felt warm and care from the staffs , especially the check-in lady named Chavelle. They provided all informations i needed . Thanks to all staffs ,i really felt the contentment.

Good location, Rooms were well equipped and clean. You can go anywhere in hk from this location. Good shopping close with some great local Chinese eateries. A great value hotel and a friendly staff.

I was disappointed that there was no hair dryer.

Inexpensive and conveniently located

No free internet. Floor was not clean.

Nice and comfortable. Could catch bus there from airport. Great buffet breakfast. Helpful with kids. Could have my under 12 year old stay for no extra money so long as she didn't require extra bedding. Over 12 year old had a small charge for extra bed.

Further from airport than I thought. If I'd known I would have booked a closer hotel simply because the money I spend on getting there and back was more than the price difference between hotels. However the location of the Panda is excellant so definitely worth it if staying more than one night and wanting to get around Hong Kong.

The staff were always very helpful, and seemed very efficient whenever I had to deal with them. Panda is a bit far from the main tourist activities to be found in Kowloon and hk Island... But with the efficiency of the mtr system this travel distance made very little difference to us. In fact the longest part was the 10 minute walk from mtr station to the Hotel which we just loved since it allowed us to pass by local Town Plaza and we could observe the local life. The bed in our room was actually two singles pushed together, which resulted in a really huge bed...we did not even have to use the separate sofa bed for our baby...we could have even fitted more people onto our bed... I loved it. However, I did find the mattress to be a little hard.

From my observation Panda hotel is very old, and this can be seen in the condition of furnishings and fittings which show the age. Even with the efficient and friendly staff, I think the hotel is in need of some refurbishing. For me, it is not such not a huge problem, as all I need is for the place to be clean, comfortable and the bathroom facilities to work well. But, I think that there is some scope to modernise and refurbish the hotel which will breath new life into it (in my opinion).

Excellent Hotel, placed far from "busy" part of city. Very good connected with all destinations with mrt or taxi. Very good service, excellent staff. Spacious rooms, renoved recently.

The bed is big, room is in decent size.

It was quiet and the location was good.

Check in counter was confusing. Staff did not explain the billing appropriately. Only when checking out, did they give you the relevant information....by then too late! Shuttle to Tsim Tsha Tsui was a bit of a hassle to get, because you had to book for it....easier to catch public transport.
