Close to the MTR, plenty of shops and food around
Very hard to find
This is important - If you get easily lost in big cities like me, you need to know this hostel is actually on Cannon street, right next to the Royals bar. It is tricky to find but the location is perfect - literally seconds away from the MTR station. Cosy(but not too crowded), comfy, cool. Great WiFi.
12 beds in one room is more than I've ever seen, but it works. Just be sure to make friends.
THE WIFI AND THE MATTRESSES WERE THE BEST! STAFF WERE NICE AND EXPLAINED AREAS, BUILDING WAS SECURE AND SAFE. CLOSE TO MTR AND SHOPPING.
NOT VERY EASY TO FIND. Did not expect the 10 percent surcharge. No universal adaptors in the room, but can hire one. The air con was never off and was so cold in the room. NO FREE BOTTLE OF WATER OR SIGHTSEEING GUIDE on arrival.
Location and hall with bay view is good.
I was put in an unbelievable small double room, not advisable to rent if you suffer from claustrophobia.
Dirty room was bitten in the night several times. Very awkward to get to too bunks and looked unsafe plug sockets taped up! Smoke alarm bagged
Excellent location, clean room, spacious common area with a great view of Victoria Harbour
Small bathroom, no provision for toiletries (you have to buy a set for HKD20)
Staff were friendly when we arrived.
Paid extra for more expensive suite which shared a balcony with other guests so could never have curtains open to look at view. Also common room was right outside room and stayed noisy until around midnight and then again when people came back around 3am even though there was signs up.
I Booked the hotel by Booking.com.Though hotel has really small rooms but they are modern, good location quite convenient and very clean. and the price is ok . Good for a short stay. the reception is ok with friendly smile and good in hospitality
Good location to visit Hong Kong island
Extremely small (but they say everywhere in HK is the same) Hard to find the building
1) The amazing view from the lounge 2) Super squishy mattresses, pillows 3) cool room 4) co-ed; met some really nice girls 5) THE PRICE! 6) the curtains around the bottom and middle bunks 7) great restaurants across the street 8) MTR (metro) within 5 min walk 9) SIMS cards - they had them - no need to leave building 10) free water
1) no signage to tell where it was 2) no elevator service btn 9th and 11th flrs - office on 9th/beds on 11th 3) AC dripped the entire time 4) the bar in the middle of the bed frame meant you had to shift to waist-over-bar
the view of the harbor & H.K. island from the common area meeting visitors from all over the world. They were all very considerate/quiet in the dorm nice temperature & A.C. when sleeping. could have been a little cooler though. Staff answered questions politely & quickly when we wanted to know something The staff went out of their way to let 1 traveler keep his 1 bag in the common room for a couple of weeks.I think the staff went above/beyond by this generous act. The staff was nice, especially the new staff, young & nice. It was close to the subway & had many eating places to choose from nearby. One could also cook their own food if so desired. Grocery stores were well stocked.
The staff could have used their own initiative more instead of waiting for anyone to ask a/b some necessary things at the hostel & nearby places. They could have asked when the traveler left, do you have all of your things from the dorm, locker, refriger ator, etc. I forgot some things due to being in a hurry. Yes it was my fault but it would have been nice to been asked to double check all the places we kept many of our things. I am SO glad I did not leave anything very important when I left. When we leave, we are NOT going back if we forget anything. I would have loved to have had a nice swimming pool. There were 3 or 4 but kind of far away. It is very HOT & HUMID in H.G.
the location of the hostel is great, the view from the common room onto the sea and the mainland part of hongkong is spectacular. if you are looking for a place with a ideal location and a great price, thats it! the 10 bed room was ok, beds big enough, bathroom ok as well, air conditioner working without problems. the staff was speaking decent English as well as mandarin.
the place is especially hard to find due to the cities structure. the building itself is huge and you need to enter first and go to the 9th floor to before you can find the actual hostel, no banner or writing can be found on the outside. for short term visitors, no door keys for downstairs are available, but normally people always pass by opening that door
People from all nationalities staying there, friendly and helpful staff, the shared living room was cozy. If you are looking for a hostel in Hong Kong, this is by far the best option.
People who were in the dorm had to share a tiny bathroom which was dirty and very uncomfortable.
Brilliant staff, some of the best I've come across in my travels - friendly, helpful, funny, just plain awesome. I was in the 9th floor dorm and it was great. Nice beds, next to the kitchen, common room/reception desk, plenty of space - even a cupboard and shoe rack! The common room is a fantastic, inviting space with an amazing view of Kowloon and met some great people there. Kitchen has everything you need to cook which is a rarity in HK hostels. Entire floor - dorms, bathroom, kitchen/common room were kept very clean. Generally an excellent place to stay at a low price and it's the best place to stay in Hong Kong.
Sink tap in the bathroom was pretty weak, a step up from a dribble. The rest of the building constantly smelt of stale cooking oil and made me nauseous but that's Hong Kong for you, though the hostel itself was absolutely fine.
Near MTR Causeway Bay Station and Airport bus shuttle.
Expensive for what you get. The bathroom was very dirty. Bed to shower ratio was poor: 4 bed mixed dorm and 11 bed mixed dorm share only 1 shower. 3 tier bunk bed.
Horribly small room and toilet with shower. Don't consider this a hostel besides the common room which was good for meeting ppl.
One of my friend introduced this hotel to me , because it is at my own expense, So i hav to find a cost-effective one . and it is when I checked in. The reception Lady is enthusiastic and friendly when we in the gate of the hotel. the boss talking like friends, I feel very relaxed after the travelling
Location is everything for this place. Very good value for money from that point of view. It's very basic, but clean.
Bed is not comfy but manageable for a short stay, and can be noisy as walls are paper thin.
This hotel was suggested by a friend staying in HK. I also read the reviews about the hotel on Tripadvisor. Finally I booked the hotel via their website. Location - Excellent ! The hotel is located about 20 meters from the causeway bay MTR station. Food - I did not try the hotel food but it seems good. If you don't wanna eat in, call for other food. Room - It was quite small but it is common around Hong Kong. We felt it was comfortable Value for money - ok for leisure seeking tourists. If you're on a budget, perhaps look for cheaper hotels. Cleanliness - Thumbs up ! Additional Service - Two thumbs up for providing guests with Handy...very very handy indeed !!! All in all...this is one of the good hotel choices in HK
I really dislike the rooms, perhaps most rooms in hk are so small
Nice place and location
Need pay extra 10% fee after check out
It was located close to Causeway Bay MTR station, shops and buses. The view of Hong Kong harbour.
We stayed in the harbour suite which was adjacent to the common room and office. On two nights, we had to get up to complain about the noise made by guests and staff talking in the common room after 11.30 pm. To their credit, management fixed up this matter of noise after our second complaint. The room was noisy from the street traffic . There is a 3% surcharge if you elect to pay by credit card. The Wifi in this room was unreliable and kept dropping out.
the staffs're very friendly.

On two nights, we had to get up to complain about the noise made by guests and staff talking in the common room after 11.30 pm. Management finally fixed up this matter of noise after our second complaint. This lead to some tension between us and the other guests. The room was noisy from street traffic and made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. There is a 3% surcharge if you pay by credit card which we only found out when we were asked us to pay three days before our departure. The Wifi in this room was unreliable and kept dropping out. You cannot cancel the booking without losing your money. If we could have left after the first night, we would have.
The hostel was located two blocks from Causeway Bay MTR station.
Our room had views of the harbour but it was located near busy Connaught Rd and so the room was noisy which made it hard to sleep. The combined toilet and shower were tiny and difficult to use. It was hard to locate the hostel as there is no clear signage at street level.
I book the room 3 nice view but you need to know the road is not fare of the room but the window is very great and you didn't hear the noise of the street You don't need towel or toilet case everything is included.
