its very close to MTR and all local and international restaurants and tourist spots.
room is too small considering that we are 2 big adults
Friendly staff. Great location. Simple and basic.
You have to queue in the evenings to use the lift to reach the guest house.
very clean room friendly staff at the downtown
elevator queue people offering watches, room and etc at the bottom floor
Located in HK center
Room extremely small, dirty, shower is together with the toilet (you shower on the toilet!!), very long lines at the elevator, many strange people around the hotel.. They even didnt have change after we paid ans agreed that she will bring the money to the room or we meet at a certain time in the morning - we couldnt find her and we lost 100 HKD... Never back here again!
Cleanliness of the room
Middle of town
Queue for lift
Good location Very good room service Cosy Very clean
Except elevator, i loved this room.
The house lady cleans up the room and tidies the bed and clothes daily.
The fact that the lift is always jammed, and that a bottleneck queue is always there
The guest house is located in a very dangerous, overcrowded building. Many strange people and salespeople who try to solicit and target for "preys."
Room is cleaned every day and new towels are provided. The rooms are spotless and ours even had a window. The location is perfect, next to the Tsim Tsa tsui MTR station, bus stop to and from the airport (bus A21) and the harbour front. Chungking Mansions isn't as bad as some people here make you believe. Number of touts and their annoyance level is much overrated. Sure they ask you for stuff but hey'll also leave you alone after a firm no. Nothing to worry about. The rooms are very very tiny, but that is to be expected for this price in Hong Kong. So if you like a big room be willing to pay much more or do not visit Hong Kong.
The lift is tiny and often very crowded.
I stayed in HongKong just a couple of days, but the location seems quite central. Convenient. The room has all the necessary, although its quite small, comparing to normal hotel, even tiny. But this is a common thing in Hong Kong, as I see. I would not expect anything more for that money.
The elevator, indeed. The building has two ones, and one is broken everytime, overused. This is not a problem of the guest house, but building. However, it really makes sense, unfortunately. One elevator stops at even floors, another one at odd ones. be prepared to that. And waiting in queue can take up to 20 minutes before you can get in. Also you can use stairs, but 15th floor... Some people mention annoying vendors on the first floor and around the area. The area really looks like "india town", but if you are an experienced traveller, it is not going to be a problem. Just ignore them all together :)
The staff were very friendly and keeps the house very clean and organized. The facilities were very fair and are in par with what you pay for. Housekeeping was very good. We were served by a lovely girl named Mel, and she washed our linen and towel daily, and even helped us organize our stuff lying on the bed and the floor. She never failed to surprise us when we come home from a long day of fun and shopping.
Park guest house owns just two of the floors in the building where it is located and the rest of the building is managed by its owners. The building management is what i hated so much. To get to your hotel, you will have to follow these ridiculous elevator rules, deal with the rude staff, squeeze into the small 8-man-capacity lift and walk through creepy and seedy halls and stairs. So it was hell before you get into your hotel, and if you're unlucky, getting out could be just as hard.
Very clean. Staff excellent. Free filtered water. Great location.
very friendly & welcoming staff.
Free wifi Got a free room upgrade
I am traveling with my dad who had joint surgery two years ago. The owner lent me wheelchair to use during our stay. Very nice!
Very good location. Room a bit small, but very good for this price. Everything was clean. I really recommend this place.
everything is OK
The location, cleanliness & the helpfulness of the wonderful staff and all in all reasonable value for the money
The room was a little small & the elevator could be a little crowded from time to time, however this is to be expected in Hong Kong
Very clean place. Marlyn the manager was vey nice and helpful.
It was clean, and affordable. That is all I need.
The location! You have to walk through the building entry hall. There was always a bunch of man standing there pushing tikets or taxy or something. Unconfortable.
Very nice guest house on the 11 floor. It was quite, clean, good staff!!!
Small room, but perfect!
