Location was very convenient to MTR stations. Easy to get there with taxis. Concierge was nice. A bit old looking. Lobby is too disjointed and over crowded. Staff when I checked-in where a bit rude. Confusion and mix up with credit cards.

Location Did not clean the room very well. We had to ask them back to make up the beds and the garbage bins were not emptied. No water in the room the first day so I bought some and then realised they did provide it. Quite sloppy in room service.

The staff in the main, in particular Kit and Andy in the executive lounge were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. We had an already documented problem with a member of staff - we did not feel we were compensated for this embarrassing experience despite the Duty Manager's apologies. We found the room small and not well designed. One day if had not been serviced by 3.30 pm. Staff in the main were friendly and helpful but lacked sufficient training especially on the Executive Floor - this was a management not a staff problem. We did not see or hear from the butler. We stayed here in 1999 for a considerable time but do not think we will return. On your literature it states we can check out by 6.00 pm but apparently this is not the cases as there was a problem trying to get a 1.00 pm check out. We had problems with noisey guests last night although we appreciate it is Sevens Weekend that is not our problem. There was insufficient food at breakfast and no seating, again not our problem. Your literature is very confusing E.g where it states our guests are allowed in the executive lounge - and apparently are not. We had problems with our bill with added items. I doubt will return to the Regal sadly.

Nice hotel. The room was very nice, if a bit dated. Location was convenient. 1) &Quot;Free" wifi is a joke. You can only use it for 15 minutes before it kicks you off for 12 hours, and it is so slow that you can't even check email. 2) "Free" wifi is only available in the public areas, but they won't let you sit in the lounge to use it unless you order something to eat/drink. Not friendly. 3) Because the free wifi is useless, you have to pay $HK130 to use the internet connection in the room. At the prices they charge, it should be included. 4) The temperature controls in the room didn't work, it was always too cold.

Proximity to shopping and restaurants, clean and comfortable rooms. One can use free wifi at the lobby only once every 12 hours and maximum of only 15 mins. Mini bar was locked. Not appropriate for family with young children as the tv menu kept on showing previews of adult movies.
