Renaissance Kowloon Hotel

We arrived at HK very early in the morning. We had asked to have a room ready at the first hour of check-in time. As soon as we arrived we had a room ready for us, and a room answering the demands we had made: quiet,with good daylight, twin-bed. The internet cable connection was paid bud good quality.

At the concierge desk ,on the lower floor, there was a thin fifty-old man, that, twice,when I wanted to buy stamps to send postcards to Europe, told me to give him the money and didn't want to show me the stamps. I asked to see them,he made as if he was stamping them, but he didn't put he postcards in the letter.box, he said he woul put them next day. Before, I had asked for the same service and another one had given me the stamps and I had seen him putting the letters in the box. I doubt that the later postcards I wrote were sent. Next day when we were leaving and another boy was helping us with the luggage he appeared interfering with the service, only to get a tip.

The room was tidy and OK. We were satisfied with many selection of TV channels in English.

We were offered an upgrade to the Club Floor including the Club Lounge which was appreciated and enjoyed by the three of us.

The location is very convenient to shopping, transport and some places of interest The room was always kept clean. Gym facilities are great especially the putting green. Hotel staff are very helpful.

It is in the middle of shoping area, and very close to sea side walking track.

The rooms are very small, the ceiling of the room is very low.

furniture still very old. I stayed there about 6 years ago and thought the furniture was old than. When I saw the pictures on the web site I thought they have remodeled but to my surprise it is still the old furniture. Don't look at the photos and think it's the room condition. Old furniture

not worth the money. Needs updating.

I liked the environment and how confortable the room and mainly the bed were.

I did not like that some workers of the hotel were not informed of time schedules or shuttle schedule...etc...And also not even being able to express themselves in English.
