View from the room, size of the rooms was great and exceptional service from staff. Shuttle bus ran on time to schedule. Would have been nice for the shuttle bus to run a little bit later at night till 12 for example. |

I used to stay at Royal view at least once a month and very disappointed this time, I stay at room no. 1908 and the washroom in stain and smell so so bad. We asked to improve after the 1st night and still the stain smell stays there the 2nd night. Pls next time don't put me in such a bad room and hotel should find a solution to solve this issue. I also want to hear your response on this matter. Thanks! |

The staff was really nice though most of them can barely speak english. Upon checking in, we were informed by the receptionist that the hotel was fully booked that night and there were no standard double rooms available. We were a bit disappointed at first but it didn't turn out so bad afterwards, lucky us, we were given a free upgarde to a suite. The view from the balcony was really heart warming. The location of the place was rather remote, but there's a free shuttle service to the Tsuen Wan mtr station that runs every 30 minutes so commuting is not really a problem. The hotel is only 20 minutes away from the airport and would cost you hkd 204 by cab.Disneyland is 15 minutes away and would cost you hkd15.50 From Tsuen Wan mtr station. They could probably hire staff who could atleast understand and speak english better. Though most of the staff were really nice and accomodating, asking them a simple information is a pain. The room was rather small compared to other hotel rooms we've been to in other countries, but I think that's just how it is in Hong Kong. |

Spacious fitness center especially outdoor swimming pool that is hard to find this in crowded hk Noisy air conditioner & restaurant: we stayed at Royal View Hotel three times during the period of Sep 1~Oct 8. Sadly, we didn't got much chance from the menu. The hotel should change the menu once a month at least & also shorten the preparation time for dishes. We were kept to wait there for over 20 mins during non-rush hours, I.E. after 1400. |

Very nice views of the bay from my window. Quiet comfortable air conditioning. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed and good tv. Room was relatively small but fine for one person, Very tasty breakfast and lunch buffet but fixed, one price which is fine if you are really hungry! Nice outdoor pool and exercise room. Likely be more satisfied if I was travelling with a companion to be out and about with. Location under a large overpass/bridge. Didn't find it an easy place from which to set off walking on my own. No other eating establishments close by for just a light, inexpensive snack. Wireless internet available but expensive hourly rate. Found communication with staff, getting answers to my questions, required a lot of persistence - perhaps just a problem with English comprehension - but they were pleasant enough. |

the room was ok this hotel is located to far away from any amenities, train station and restraunts. taxi's to and from the hotel from the the trains tation can be expensive. The amount you spend on taxis would be worth putting towards a hotel on hong kong island. This is not a realistic hotel to stay at. Everything in the hotel is charged at a premium rate. i would not stay in this hotel again. |

i love the view & design of the room. It is slightly small but it has everything I need, very comfortable bed, writing desk, a safe box, beautiful LCD TV, pantry with sink & hot water kettle. My 5 yr old son loves the bathroom rain shower, he stays there for a good ten mins. I will definitely stay this hotel again on my next visit. As for shopping & food, U don't need to go Mongkok or hongkong island. Tsuen Wan MTR station area has everything u need & much cheaper too, they have very good japanese restaurants & local food there BUT never change yr money there...The exchange rates sucks. The best exchange rate is at floral street. Hope u have a wonderful stay like what we did =) Actually nothing to complain except maybe to highlight one area, the shuttle buses are changed to bigger buses when there are more guests but due to the small driveway the bigger buses have to stop outside the hotel which is along the highway. It can be a bit unsafe for the kids. Have to really keep a watchful eye on them. |

Compared with other 4-stars hotels in hk, it's a nice hotel. As a matter of fact, it is the third time that I have stayed there with my boyfriend. There is no bath in my room. |

Gym was free and excellent - shuttle bus excellent don't worry about the location rooms were very nice and comfortable food great but a little on the expensive side! If you are on a budget eat outside the hotel and get water from the vendors downstairs. Internet is not free but very fast 20HKD for 15 mins is steep. |

The staff were very friendly/ helpful. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable - excellent veiws over the water. Maybe the location, whilst relatively close to the airport, it was convenient for a brief overnight stay but not much happening near the hotel itself. |

Yes of course the Royal View. Although i had a standard room without this view, I did see it from the windows and from the street. the fitness center, sauna and pool are nice but the pool is crowded with kids so be aware of that fact, the hotel is very kid friendly. They charge extra for EVERY little thing, the wifi is not available in the room so you must sit in the crowded lobby or restaurant to use the laptop and the charges are expensive, as are those in the business center and for food and the minibar. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but with glorioûs night and day sea views, (I repeat), but the shuttle to the nearby MRT metro is frequent. The restaurant is expensive but features some nice buffets and such. |
