We chose the Royal Park Hotel because of its near position to the Chinese University of Hong Kong. After our experience of eight days we can recommend this hotel also as an excellent accomodation for discovering Hong Kong and to stay where Hong Kong people live, work, meet and shop. We appreciated very much the helpful and kind nature of the whole Royal Park Hotel staff and the people around this hotel.

The bed is really comfortable and nice. Bath is also awesome. Through the window of our room, we can see very nice view. The shopping mall is connected with the hotel, so shopping is very convenient. It's a little hard to find the way from the mall to the hotel. The service fee was included when we purchased the booking, but when we checked out the hotel charged our service fee again. It's a little upset.

Hotel staff very friendly, helpful, cordial, prompt, warm & courteous. Bilingual, Chinese and English, in communication. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, hygienic and elder friendly. Did not avail the opportunity to dine to test the food and/or room service. Location and neighborhood is very convenient, calm, Peaceful yet resourceful & full of amenities at stone's throw. The hotel is integrated with the neighbor hood amenities by a mesh of overhead walkways. Offers free shuttle services to Tsim Sah Sui, the heart of Kowloon. Well known land mark. View around is pleasing too.

Hotel facilities were very good and staff were overall very friendly. We were in Hong Kong for trade shows and we have to book baby sitters for our young children. They arranged baby sitters very nicely and children were very well taken care of. We are very grateful for the hotel staff. - even doormen and porters made the children welcomed. One of the reception staff seemed to have a grudge on people who booked via booking.com When we have inquired her if we can have receipts for the baby sitting services which we paid substantial cash to the hotel, she responded that she has nothing to do with this because we booked via booking.com and insisted until her manager came between us. Our colleagues who are staying at the Royal Park Hotel at the same time had all been treated poorly by the same receptionist and her usual comment was she has nothing to do with us because we booked via booking.com.

very friendly and helpful staff long way out of Hong Kong, set in new town with five shopping malls. Room looked out over road/shopping malls. Not a lot of choice to eat out apart from Pizza Hut, hotel food (Japanese buffet) mediocre, non smoking room smelt of cigarette smoke.

Cleanliness was excellent. Location is good, very close to shops - no need to walk outside to get shops & restaurants. Convenient location to meet friends as close to MTR. Extra bed was very comfortable also. would be nice if discounted for multiple nights stay, but still good price.

Check-in process was excellent. Shuttle service to airport was excellent, reasonably priced and was simply added to the hotel bill which was a real convenience. I found the beds not comfortable - far too firm for my liking. We also found the service in some of the adjoining restaurants very, very slow. The food in the hotel's Chinese restaurant was very substandard and we would not recommend it to anyone staying at the hotel.
