Great location. Friendly staff Expensive internet. Gym and pool entrance for a fee. Rather expensive breakfast (however not a big pain as there is plenty of places to have breakfast outside). |

Great service, was upgraded on arrival to full harbour view. Lovely room with big bed and all mod cons. The room smelt of cigarettes although it was a non smoking bed and there was an ashtray provided in the bathroom. |

Proximity to Ferries, for Macau and Central. Nearby station and bus services excellent. The noise around reception caused by your renovations was a shame as it did not provide a warm welcoming experience as I know that you would normally provide. |

Great view of harbour from room on 14th floor. Staff very helpful. Appreciated complimentary bowl of fruit on arrival. Great location for shopping and transport. Restaurant lacked atmosphere and needs updating. |

it was a very pleasant stay. Convenient and good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful as well as dinning room staff. The renovations, but they have to be done so we accepted that. |

Our room was great, split into two areas, with a pull out bed for our 2 kids and a separate room for us with a king size bed. The hotel was a bit tired, but was undergoing renovations while we were there. |

Its location was perfect; accessibility to the harbour, ferries, shopping, subway...very reasonable price for lovely room considering it's Hong Kong! Small detail but very poor service in the diningroom...waitresses need a refresher course on proper etiquette when it comes to attending to hotel guests present. |

The Salisbury Hong Kong was a great hotel, it was in a very convenient to many great spots in Hong Kong. The staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early after a long flight from London. I would definitely stay their again. |

Fabulous location, clean, comfortable and value for money. Same views as the Peninsula next door for a fraction of the price! |

The hotel is in a superb location with comfortable well appointed rooms and a great dinning facility. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Great value for money. Currently undergoing renovations so some facilities like the internet and café were not available. |

The location was excellent for us. Clean & tidy. The internet price was very reasonable and we were pleased about this. It was unfortunate that there was so much building work going on, we were told informed about this and perhaps a discount should have been offered. |

Location, friendly staff, the ability of the dining room staff to manage even when fully occupied, access to tours, and most things about HongKong. Understandably, the building works in progress and its consequences. |

We liked the spectacular harbour view from our hotel bedroom, and the excellent location, just a couple of minutes from the Star Ferry and very helpful and friendly Tourist Information Centre. |

The best things about the Salisbury YMCA is definitely its location and the cleanliness of its rooms. The hotel facilities are not fancy, the building itself and the interior (lobby, hallways) seamed rather old. But the room itself was spotless! |

Because it was full, we were upgraded. That is always extremely welcome. We had a great view which was much appreciated. In spite of the ongoing alterations, the hotel functioned very efficiently. We were allowed an extra 2 hours for checking out, and then given a complimentary ticket for drinks so that we could wait for the airport bus. Excellent service. |

staff are better than 5 star hotels. this hotel is one of a kind. Sitting next to the Peninsula but at much better value. Views are spectacular and the staff are wonderful. best location in Tsim Tsa Tsui (Kowloon). I love it.always come back. construction work in the lobby but its well needed so it wont be long and it will be finished and will make it even better. |

I am a return guest at the ymca, I stayed there over a year ago and enjoyed it very much. The ymca was my only choice in hotel for my most trip to hk Construction work in the lobby/reception. These renovations were underway when I was last staying at the ymca in Dec 2008. I was dissapointed to see that the main enterence and sidewalks were still under constructure and the lobby still had not been finished. I am returning to the ymca in March 2010 I hope by then the lobby will be finished! |
