Location Too expensive for the size of the room and the facilities. You have to pay for use of the gym and the pool, both facilities are not up to international standard.

I have stayed at the YMCA Salisbury each and every time I have visited Hong Kong. I never have any disappointments whenever I stay here. The staff is 2nd to none, the location is very convenient within the Star Ferry and MTR. The breakfast buffet is the best that I have EVER had in a hotel.

The view n location is really good. There are mites at one of the extra blanket in the wardrobe & caused it bites my boyfriend leg and body. They will have to look into this. I've stayed in room 931.

The view from the room was spectacular. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. the arrangement with the hotel bus company for transfers was very convenient. The food in the cafe could have been more varied and although I realize it is a YMCA, there was no bar.

The convenience of the location and view of the harbour. Friendly staff, and convenient dining room. My credit card pronlems were not understood and the booking and billing process was not flexible. The room rate for one night changed from the time I booked the room, and what was quoted on the booking sheet. The computer time was convenient but expensive. It wouls have been nice to have Wifi free.

Everything! Fantastic value, comfortable, incredibly handy to everything, great service...can't wait to come back:) Nothing. If there had been two of us, the bathroom would have been small, but it was perfect for me.

I liked everything! The staff, the location, the view, the accommodation - in fact I could not fault it. My only concern in giving a good review is that the hotel might be too full for me to stay there on my next trip!!

The location was superb, we got upgraded and had a spectacular view of the harbor. I have to admit, it was weird being in a ymca, but that said, it was very nice. (In the us, the ymca is definitely budget accommodations at best) It was kind of pricey, but it is hong kong, so I guess no way around it. I ended up with two twin beds, but they were nice enough to push them together to make a bed for us.

Location and view - we paid the extra for a harbour view room and loved it. Very pleased to get a room on the 15th floor with a fairly uninterrupted view. It was more expensive than our original price due to dollar values and service tax.

The Salisbury epitomizes what a Y should be. It is friendly, convenient and the staff makes service not as a routine but with warmth. And I love the music that plays. It conveys the underpinning of the ymCa in a humble way. A pleasure to be in an environment with a capital "C". What is not to like? With the traffic that hotels get, keeping upholstery clean in public places (like the breakfast room) can be a challenge and here could use some attention.
