Iso hotelli.

Huoneemme (Harbour view room) oli erittäin siisti ja varustelutaso erinomainen. Hieno näköala Hong Kongin saarelle. Hotellin sijainti täydellinen.

Aulatilat kolkohkot ja uima-altaalla oli paljon ulkopuolisia. Internet ylihintainen ja aamiainen kallis (emme käyttäneet). McDonals aivan hotellin lähellä tarjoaa huomattavasti edullisemman aamiaisen. Mielestäni hotelli on hieman ylihintainen.

Hotellin sijainti oli erinomainen. Palvelu oli ystävällistä.

Huoneessa oli kylmä (tammikuussa). Huoneeseen tultua kesti pari tuntia ennen kuin huone lämpeni ja huoneesta poistuttaessa lämmitys katkesi.

Great location. Friendly staff

Expensive internet. Gym and pool entrance for a fee. Rather expensive breakfast (however not a big pain as there is plenty of places to have breakfast outside).

Value for money is excellent for the location of this hotel which is convenient for the Star Ferry, shops, public transport, HK Cultural Centre, Space Centre etc. The beds were comfortable and good use had been made of the limited space in the bedroom which had ample storage, Internet connection point, etc. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, in difficult circumstances in the case of the reception staff as the reception area was undergoing major renovations at the time of our visit. There was a good choice of food in the Salisbury Restaurant buffets and it was good value for money (booking is essential at weekends). On the recommendation of friends, we booked a Harbour View Room which was well worth the extra expense.

Due to the renovations in progress, there was no public Internet access for guests, no Cafe and nowhere comfortable to sit between check-out and a late flight. The Podium Garden was being used for a private function at the time. Hopefully when the renovations are complete these criticisms will be resolved.

Hotel lobby was under major renovation and took away from the ambience and there was much disarray.

The location. Positioned next to the prestigious Peninsular hotel the Y has a great position for harbour views and access to train and ferry links

At the moment, November 2009, there are huge road works around the hotel and major renovations inside at reception. This meant the noise levels during the day are high and if you want somewhere to sit after checking out and waiting for a shuttle back to the airport you are out of luck, there is no seating anywhere in the hotel because at the moment there is no lounge.

The location of the hotel is very good, just a short walk to the Star Ferry and metro stations.

The cafe area on the ground floor is under renovation until Feb 2010 meaning the choice of an alternative place to eat at the hotel is not available.

Fasbulous location of hotel ,excellent room very comfortable and spotlessly clean,friendly helpful staff,incredible value for money.Was worried about reports of work on the lobby during our stay.Not an issue everything was very efficiently run.Our room was next to the lift but this also had not impact on our stay..couldn't hear it.

Not too keen on the buffet breakfast...don't leave it to the last half an hour of service as the choice by this stage is limited.

The staff at reception were very helpful, and our room was immaculate. It was convenient for us to leave our bags at reception after we had checked out and then pick them up before catching the plane.

The breakfast price seemed excessive.
