Location is just awesome!! You can go every areas of Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui and Yau Ma Tei..I Think you can easy to excess everywhere from Dorsett Seaview Hotel..Also, staffs are excellent especially, Alex who is in charge of reception. Best Budget Hong Kong Hotel..Two Thumbs Up!! Cleaness of rooms are also perfect. Hotel deposit policy is not really good for travellers. There are nothing in the room however, they collect hk$1,300 in cash or credit card. When I asked to question about deposit and payment to reception, they weren't say to me clearly. I paid hk$1,300 by credit card (hk$850-2 nights room charge, plus 10% of service tax hk$85.00 & Deposit hk$365.00) but, I still not refund deposit..What happen guys?? That deposit policy is ridiculous..They don't even have mini bar in room..

We booked for 2 deluxe rooms thinking it would be better than the standard room; but........both rooms were too small! Just good enough for couple and backpackers and for those who only need a room to sleep and take a bath. In fairness, the toilets are clean.......too small though! We asked for an extra pillow but it didn't came......we're just asked to wait :-(

It was small but cozy, and the location is very convenient since we wanted to be near the markets and the train station. Also they kept it very clean. A nice clean bathroom is always a plus for me. We would have like it better if the breakfast buffet included more options like fresh fruits.

Its location. Temple Street Market, Nathan Road are all 2 minutes walk away. They didn't honour my request for a non-smoking room. The beds are very hard and the room was very small.

Only the location of the hotel. Staff - especially those that are in the counter. When I get to the hotel and approached the staff at the counter I was surprised that the supposedly nice welcoming staff at the hotel as frontliners, were rude. The lady staff even told us that we should already pay the full amount before we see the room because, according to her, "...I might not like the room and would just leave!" Goodness gracious! That was the most welcoming greet I ever had in hk. She asked me to pay everything. She even asked me to give her a hk$300 advance in case I would use anything at the room. Room - I booked thru booking.com because of its reputation. When it says hotel, anybody would expect a room bigger than 12sqm including the t&B. And the beds are at its standard size. For four nights I slept on a bed while my feet are under a table/counter. I stand only 68 inches. Beds are supposedly 75 inches length but theirs are even shorter than my height. Everytime I would extend my hand to my side while sleeping I could already reach my friend who was sleeping in the other bed. Imagine the distance of the two beds? 16 inches! Our baggages could hardly place anywhere. That was a miserable hotel. Booking.com should have mentioned in the ads that it was not a hotel, they should have placed there, Hostel or better yet, Inn. And that was at a Promo price when I booked it because it says there, "Book earlier and have discounts" I think two months earlier was not late for discounts. Surprisingly, I paid more than hk$5000! Thanks for the promo. When I called the counter again the night before I would go back to manila, the lady there was again very consistent to be rude. I asked for a reservation for taxi transfer to the airport. I was looking for the other staff I talked to about the taxi, she said. "You come down here and talk to her. She cannot talk to you on the phone". Wow! I still love the people in my hospitable country.... And thanks for the nicest staff.

The location right by Night Market and the MTR close. The price was high according to the standard of the room. The bedset were dirty and it wasnt a covering sheet in the bed. The carpet was dirty with a smell, otherwise was the room ok. As a suggestion could the breakfast include the cost of the room to compensate for the standard.

Location is good, near the bus stop to airport,so it is convenient for me because end of vacation,I have many goods and my bagages are so heavy. It cost 3-5 minutes to go to the bus stop. The hotel doesn't give free water for room. They have cofffee bag,tea bag, sugar, milk powder for free but no free water. It is not really important, because I can buy water at 7 eleven store near the hotel, but honestly I think If there is free water ( about 1 bottle 1 day for 1 visitor) , it is better.

Very fair price at quite a convenient location, so close to mtr and just halfway Hk Island and nt. Just renovated, new, small but very clever and convenient rooms. Wifi is not free and technically a drama. It only worked in the lobby. Upon complaining they did credit the extra charge though: very sport !

Reception counter staffs helpful & efficient.. Hotel looks pretty sleek & quite new, & well furbished as well as conveniently located in Kow- loon where Yaumatei mtr Station is just a few minutes' walk from Hotel, Hotel room is clean, room beautfiully decorated with nice lightings, good beds though a bit hard. Everything is good & fine except that hotel room beds are a bit hard so not that comfortable to sleep.
