Location is just awesome!! You can go every areas of Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui and Yau Ma Tei..I Think you can easy to excess everywhere from Dorsett Seaview Hotel..Also, staffs are excellent especially, Alex who is in charge of reception. Best Budget Hong Kong Hotel..Two Thumbs Up!! Cleaness of rooms are also perfect.

Hotel deposit policy is not really good for travellers. There are nothing in the room however, they collect hk$1,300 in cash or credit card. When I asked to question about deposit and payment to reception, they weren't say to me clearly. I paid hk$1,300 by credit card (hk$850-2 nights room charge, plus 10% of service tax hk$85.00 & Deposit hk$365.00) but, I still not refund deposit..What happen guys?? That deposit policy is ridiculous..They don't even have mini bar in room..

Great location with just 5 min walk to mtr station. Clean room with comfortable bed

No 'free' Wireless among the hotel.

There are mosquitoes inside the hotel room(even though the hotel room windows are closed)

Room is clean , beds is comfortable, location is great.walk distance to market and shopping strips,bathroom is clean.

Room is small we cant even open our suitcase on da floor .have to be in the bed.. Thats all... I do notice..staffs cant speak english.and not friendly at all.

This hotel is poor value for money, the room was like a wardrobe and breakfast was horrible and expensive. Hotel looks awful from outside, a very narrow old looking building with scaffolding all over it. It ended up much more expensive than what it said on booking.com. I checked out early and stayed in a much nicer and cheaper hotel near the harbor. I would not recommend this hotel.

All other factor is good except for that silly fat guy who is in front desk when we arrived last sept 3 morning. He can't explain well my inquiry and he tends to show that he is upset because i have many questions. Front desk officer should be polite with their customer.

Very clean, completed with basic facilities good enough for simple travellers. Convenient.

Lift too small, hardly fit in 9 ppl. And have to wait to long to get a lift especially in the morning where everyone trying to get down.

Should you bother charging for internet?. It is cheap anyway. Most hotels outside Hong Kong do not charge for Wi Fi. Food: If you wish to serve a Western breakfast then do not soak the ham in water! Awful. Just lightly fry the slices. Like bacon. Boiled eggs should be just boiled - 9 mins in total if the eggs have been refrigerated. The eggs should be a little soft in the middle. There should not be a grey ring around the yolk -a sign of overcooking. Also please provide eggs cups to stand eggs up! Porridge should not be thin and watery. Porridge needs to be much thicker. Fresh tomatoes are very good. Rooms are small for Australians but we understand that is ok in Hong Kong.

No free wifi Location a little far from Tsim Sha Tsui by walk (Nevertheless, there is a subway station closed to the hotel and taxi are cheap)
