Stanford Hillview Hotel Hong Kong  

The staff were friendly enough. However, the competence of some of the staff is questionable. The only exception is a guy names Jacob, who was extremely helpful in helping me with my lost wallet.

The fitness center is a total joke. It's a treadmill, a bike and a bench in a small room. I can't believe it's even called a fitness room. How lame!

Location was excellent: Star Ferry and MTR within walking distance

Bathroom was a bit small and in the weekend there was a lot of noise in the hallway

Value for money. Location is perfect. Variety of restaurant choices within 5 min walk. Room is neat and clean.

Hotel is located on top of a hill which requires little steep slope walk. Difficult to go with heavy suitcase but if you are smart enough to use the lift entrance at b1, problem could be solved!

The staff was helpful and couteous- clean room / safe environment. Room sertvice was reasonably priced and good. Local restuarants on the Hill are nice = decent section of town. Helpful at fron desk in printing some papers

The Interenet service was very poor and I had to complain 3-4 times to finally get consistent (but slow) service. They alsohad a poor business center. Small gym. Tough to get cabz

We went there in December 2011 and it was our second time. Excellent position in Kowloon - Tsimshatsui, rooms (we had a superior one on 7th floor) are good size, clean and modern. Very good bed linen and towels. Internet in room worked well. We didn’t have breakfast there. The staff is efficient and helpful. It is really at the end of a steep hill but it was not a problem for us. We recommend it and will return there next time.

I can get free WiFi service. The place is good for me to go to shopping. The free bus is also very good.

The expense is not cheap enough.

Near to City and Clean

It's near the downtown, which is Tim sha tsui

Room Clean with wall mounted tv. Breakfast was only 100hk per person, which is quite reasonable considering hk is an expensive city. Hotel stay overall not bad.

Given the extremely steep incline up Observatory road to the hotel, only the fittest should attempt it when hauling a suitcase . a breathless experience. The bed mattresses must have been made of concrete, which made it extremely uncomfortable to sleep, there was not an inch of give. They were hard! What left a bad taste was the ten per cent per night room charge in addition to the bill.

The location was good but it is built in a steep incline which was tough enough! Bedrooms basic but clean. Location was everything.

Big room, compare with other Hong Kong hotels. Location is good.

The price of Dec 24-25 is extremely high, but it's same in other hotels.

The location is good. Staffs are helpful. But a bit over price.
