It was clean in a convenient location.
The lift felt unsafe. There were questionable people hanging around outside. Our room was not ready, so they gave a place to wait until 9 pm. They did not come get us until 11 pm, then showed frustration that we had eaten in the room. The internet (the one requirement we had requested) did not work part of the time.
Place well located, close to the Kowloon markets, restaurants and other attractions. Not a hotel but offers reasonably priced place to sleep. Rooms much better than building itself, larger than budget hotels. Very friendly owners.
Building and staircase poorly maintained. Lifts sometimes very busy. Some problems, when you arrive late at night (no reception).
Room is cozy even if it is small and good wifi
Elevator is small, rusty, and ground floor smells when the garbage is left uncollected. Elevator ride is somewhat scary because it bounces every time you reach your floor
low price, not bad situation
too small room, noise
We stayed in other building at Temple Street. It was silent and location is good at walking street. Owner is very nice and helpful.
We had booked 2 separate beds, but there was only room with 1 big bed.
the location is good
The location of this guest house is near to the famous Temple Street.
1. The guest house is located in the prostitute area, which is uncomfortable for most of the tourists. 2. The guest house is not accepting credit card payment, which is against the terms stated in the booking.com.
Best place, cheap
Location is good easy and convenient.
No wifi till the last night only the owner install it.
Nothing i like at all.
What i booking was different. When check in time , a man said pay money first then only lead us to the room. After pay him money, the man lead us to another block .That is a dirty and smelly place. The room too......small,no heater, at night got lady stand outside looking for the customer.
Staff were rude and unfriendly, they did not speak English. The place was not well maintained.
Nathan street is the best so this guest house is very good for train and bus travelling.excellent place
only the location and affordabilitu
The beddings are not clean
My bedroom was small but comfortable, clean. Even had a flask to boil water. Some of us had rooms where the tiny bathroom had squatting toilets - that was just too small a toilet for comfort. Air-cond and heated water was fine. Wifi was adequate. Temple Street night mkt was at our door step.
The elevator leading to the unit is an unbelievably disgusting looking thing, and certainly made us fear what kind of 'dump' we were being lead to! Plus a couple of 'ladies' with giggling customers came into the lift and the lift couldn't take anymore than 3 people! Thankfully the rooms were ok.
Be prepared to be jojo around the building
good location and helpful owner
room a bit small but still acceptable
Location of Temple St. Is where the night market is located Very Accessible to Mtr and bus station May Li is very accommodating and helpful Aircon is functioning very good Hot and cold water at the shower Big Tissue Roll at the Toilet
We transferred from the building in Nathan Road to Temple St. Dirty surroundings The building is very old and the lift is scary to board on ; as if it will break down any moment Something on the bed makes our skin itchy
Everything was clean. I met nice people there. The staff was nice too.
There was only one couch and one chair in the living room. Codes are used for everything. To enter your room you have to enter a nine-digit code. That's annoying for the person trying to enter but also for those inside that want to sleep. On the first day, the lock plus passcode of my locker was changed while I was outside. I had to find someone at 1 am to get access to my computer.
central to bus, train, taxis, sreet markets, shops, airport express. room has most facilities, a good short stay location for the money.
building was fairly noisy till late in the night.
Location very nice. Located at temple street.
Building very old. Washroom very small
+ good location near underground station (Yau Ma Tei or Jordan) and near Temple street (night market) + clean room with clean bed linen and towels + wifi connection in rooms
- small room with very small bathroom (around 1 square metre) - most time there is nobody in the reception (there is the phone number on the wall) - room has only bad door lock (recommend to lock your valuables in your suitcase/backpack)
owner is kindly. near temple market and MTR
Owner's wife was logical, can understand English.
Owner was very very uncooperative. And no experience of handling international guest.
Location was very good, near Night Market & many transportation options. Owner Mai Li was very cooperative & helpful. She was best part of my stay here. Allowed me to do late check out. Room was clean & relatively quiet. AC worked well. Plenty of hot water in shower.
Not conducive to leaving good impression of HK. Very little to no advice available for sights or what's in area. Only owner speaks descent English. Was first put in annex across the street in smallest room I've ever seen in over 50 years of traveling! Used Booking.com for reservation which was listed as "Luxury Double Room". Absolutely a misrepresentation on all accounts. Nothing luxury about the room or facilities. Complained to owner who moved me to main bldg. Room was bit better but not by much. Only place to hang any clothes was a pipe stub on wall. Price for room was relatively low for HK but definitely not worth the price. Would not ever stay here again! No hot water in sink for shaving.
