they cleaned the room and emptied the trash bin every day i did not lose anything all the nights we stayed, which means the cleaning staff was trustworthy you get value for money, the room is not that small, although i got a triple sharing room & we are just 2 adults the room was basically comfortable to sleep in & rest 2 MTR stations were walking distance from here it's surprisingly near the night market, McDonalds & convenience stores
there were a few hair strands the first time we came i saw 2 small cockroaches the first 2 nights there was hot water in the toilet, but our last 2 nights hot water was not available anymore
I like the location it is near to the ATM machine, fast food and shops.
I just did not like the one who is collecting the payment he doesn't have patience to wait. But I do understand him we are strangers tenant and he is only doing his job, but I still hope he will have patience in the future.
Inside the room is good, only it has very limited space.
Dirty corridors and lift (very old). I dont like seeing a lot of prostitutes not pleasing to the eyes of my child.Wake me up in the middle of the night, or at dawn time, as I can hear, other rooms openning and closing.
the location was perfect the cleaness of the room was good and the staff friendly and helpful
the check in time has to be much more efficient
The location was very good and the place clean and comfortable, he owners doesn't speak English but you can understand all the basics! If you wanna stay in Kowloon instead of HK island, this is a great option
After I discovered all the Nightlife happens at HK island I would have rather stayed over there but nothing to do with the quality of he hostel
I stayed in the double bed room which allowed me privacy and great night's sleep.
The only downside was being far away from LKF at night time. It was either stop the fun to catch the last train back or catch a cab.
Location was good. It was bug free. Better than Chungking Mansions. We actually had a window. Wasnt a very busy building where you have to wait forever for the elevators.
The AC leaked a lite on the bed but it was OK when we turned it up.
Location was good as long as you are happy to be in Kowloon. The proximity to the various markets was great. The area is very busy and potentially overwhelming however.
It was a very odd set-up. I think this may be normal for budget guest houses in HK, but it was hard to find the "lobby"/check-in, I was put in a different room for one night (nicer than my dorm, so not complaining!) and the near lack of English from the staff was difficult. If you can be self sufficient, the decent facilities, good price, security, and location make it worth it.
Excellent location, easily accessible, good price. Also had a flat screen tv, closet space and a decent bathroom.
The room didn't have a double bed as advertised so we were a bit squished. The room wasn't cleaned once in the five days we stayed there.
everything is great.clearn air condition,safe.
just the light.someone like sleep earlier. but someone doesn't like.
Lovely place, private room with aircon. a fridge and kettle which were very useful! bathroom/wetroom a little small, but wasn't in there for a party! great place, next to metro and buses and nice walk to Ferry and lovely view!
We were there for 9 nights but had to ask for room to be cleaned every few days - which they sorted. no free shampoo or showergel, but we had our own. I'm sure if we asked they would've provided. they are very helpful and nice.
Super duper close with temple street night market and around 10 minutes walk to ladies market.. 5-10 minutes walk to either Jordan MTR Station or Yau Ma Tei MTR Station
One bathroom was shared between 8 people, but fortunately I never had to wait to get in.
Safe, clean and comfortable rooms. The owner was very kind and really nice.
The Guesthouse was clean and the owners friendly and helpful, especially Mai. While her husband was helpful, he cannot speak much English, which can be frustrating as you can't communicate your needs effectively with him.
In my room, I think the A/C was dripping and the noise of it, kept me awake thru the night. Also there was a Typhoon, and the wind was making a lot of noise thru the windows, even though they were closed. Maybe putting a sealant around the window frame might lessen the noise. It was difficult to get good quality sleep because of these two noise factors. And I had a train to catch which was an overnight train, without a booking for a sleeper, so I came back exhausted from my trip to HK.
- good location (temple street) - good price - the room is pretty good.
- staff cannot understand English that well (pretty hard to communicate with him) - there are two different building. If you are in a private room, you will be transferred to another building which has pretty dirty lift and stair hall. - not so good management, I was asked to leave after a night of staying (but finally he said he forgot about it)...kind of misunderstanding.
Incredible rude, even agressive staff. Felt extremely insecure. Never ever will set one step in this place again.
the location, the owner and the cleanliness of the room...
The elevator, the old building and the mattress was too hard that can cause back ache...I had to request for additional comforter to put on our bed...
Quite normal place stay for awhile as a backpacker
5 persons had to sleep together in 1 room and some of them were snorkaling..or got up early in the morning and made some noise by going out and entering all the time while the door opener had a number combination lock that was too noisy..it is expensive comparing to these inconviniences..
Location was good. Near establishments like resto and malls. Bus stops just outside the building. Walking distance to MTR station.
Elevator of the building was freaky. Looked like it's gonna stuck up anytime I'm inside. Dirty/ran down building. No keycards. You have to memorise the pin number of the door (or have your copy ready to read) The sound of guests typing the security code of the door keeps me awake. I was surprised when I woke up that I have bedbug bites on my arms! Dorm bed has a squeaky frame and hard foam. The reception was located on another apartment unit so it's hard to ask for information. The toilet can get messy. Trash bin not regularly emptied. And there was no toilet bidet! I had to detach the shower head to make it as an improvised bidet. For a guesthouse, there's no microwave oven. I was also surprised when I woke up one morning that there's a guest accomodated to sleep...in the living room! Very awkward esp when going to the toilet. Hard to use the toilet since the place can accomodate 10 guests and there's only one toilet/bathroom.
The owner is friendly and helpful, location is right the entrance of temple street market and very clean
Air conditioned room, comfortable beds, linens changed regularly
Toilet is mixed

Check-in got delayed by more than 2 hours after 2 pm. Only the owner May speaks English. Difficult to communicate with the rest of the staff.
The location is great, in Nathan Road, mear temple street and with 2 metro station near. The room wasen't large but enough for one-two persons. They add a little kitchen for free (that i did't used). The wifi and the air conditioned works fine.
Is a little confusing how the elevator works so sometimes it takes a long time to arrive.
