At the end of a three week tour of China we could not have asked for a better place. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Our tours were booked with no fuss and our very need was catered for. The pool was a godsend at the end of a day of shopping and sightseeing. The public transport (within walking distance of the hotel) was easy to use and if we had trouble finding our way there was always a friendly local to offer a helpng hand. Because of our experience at this establishment my husband and I will happily travel to Hong Kong again and again. Many and grateful thanks to you.

We loved the location as we could walk everywhere from the hotel. We are both very active adults in our 40's and never felt the need to get a taxi. The city park and Star Ferry pier are nearby making it easy to explore Hong Kong Island too.

Location was great, hotel was clean and looked well maintained. I was aware rooms were small but that really is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, however it still met all my needs. Buffet breakfast food was often tepid when should have been hot, croissants were amazing one day and hard and crunchy the next. Overall the breakfast was satisfactory. Worst check out for me ever in terms of politeness, I paid and the attendant printed receipt shoved the receipt at me and walked off without even so much as a smile or a thank you for staying with us. That left a poor last impression.

Location was great, close to Nathon road and the station. Service provided by hotel staff was the worst we have ever experienced. We travel a lot- they don't get your bags out of the taxi when you arrive or help you with them up the stairs- or hold the door open for you. We checked in quickly as there were staff available and no-one else was around. Other than that very poor standard. I am sure you could find other hotel of the same price with service! Rooms were small- but fine ( you don't go to hong kong to stay in the room)

fab location = central to all we wanted to see and do relatively quiet as in off a main road secure feeling eg key card to activate lifts and staff in the lobby personal safe in the room fridge in the room with space for own things I booked the room type that was available at the time, but it was not the same type of room as I had on a previous visit = felt a little dissapointed. If I had seen other rooms albeit not available I would have understood what I was booking was different. This maybe a system fault. Having said that the room was fine for the time I was there, if I had satyed longer I would have wanted a larger room as I had before, tripping over 2 large suitcases isnt much fun

Good location (shopping, restaurants), near public transportation (including free shuttle bus from/to Kowloon station), calm, cleanliness of the room. Room rather small but nicely decorated with "clever" disposition of the furniture. I highly appreciated to have shelves for our toilet-make up bags, as well as having a supermarket (Wellcome) just opposite side. I also appreciate that kids under 12 years old are accepted free in the parent room. The mattress was too soft (I have a tendency of having backaches. Water temperature of the swimming pool a bit too cold - only 23°c - but very nice swimming pool with confortable deckchairs and free bathtowels, magazines and newspapers at disposal.

The service of the employees I consider to be very good. At the lobby and the reception, they all did a good job. The only two things I do not like about the Empire Hotel is, that the breakfast is not good at all. The second thing is that they charge you for using Internetservices. In most of the hotels in China Internet is free. I think that should be the same in The Empire.

.Breakfast choice and coverage was good . Hotel is reasonably good. But the Room size is small which is to an extent tolerable. But the size of the bed also happened to be very small which will be difficult for a couple to sleep comfortably. The Service requested into a room was not attended in time. Even a coffee creamer when requested was not provided in time. Some of the staff was found to be not understanding English well

“The hotel location is very ideal for shopping. Access to the harbor and nearby Harbor City shopping Mall is easy. Museums and Kawloon Park are near by. The rooms are big enough and clean. It is worth for the money we pay. The Buffet lunch in the hotel restaurant is cheaper and tastier.” Chidambaram, Tutcorin |
