The view looking over the Botanical Gardens and down to the centre of the city, especially at night, was great.
We had to request an iron and ironing board three times before being provided with one. No dressing gowns provided.
The staff were not friendly, especially the grumpy one at breakfast!!
Garden View and the shopping store that was close to hotel.
Wifi acces is not possible from your room without payin money. The staff can not let you use the hotel power while you are using your PC on the lobby. Some of them are very rude if you would ask them to let you use the hotel electricity at the lobby.
i like the view
the location is uphill
many to mention
The room was big enough to move around and it has a floor to ceiling view of the city.
Can not believe they do not offer free wifi - they offer it in the lobby for free - why not extend it up to the rooms - the lobby looks like an internet cafe. It does not cost them anymore by offering it up in the room.
If you are a on leisure trip with no need to access internet often and don't mind walking a 30 minutes to to get to the nearest MTR this may be a place that fits your budget.
Although their website said the location is a short walk from the Central MTR it is not true. It is a good 30 minute walk to the station. These days all hotels offer free WiFi but here you have to pay extra HKD100 per night for WiFi if you need it in your room. They offer free WiFi in the lobby, but you wouldn't want to go to the lobby every time you want to access internet when you are on a business trip
you need to climb a hill to reach the hotel. short distance, long walking time from the underground station.
room is big and all other is ok,address is so difficult to found, you must take a taxi
Room view Location Value
Breakfast was poor
Clean and good facilities. Noon checkout. Very close to botanical gardens and supermarket.
Noise from site behind hotel. No ATM nearly or money change facilities. I was moved to much nicer garden view and higher floor when I complained about noise. Staff good.
need to pay for extra internet in the room 300hkd
Wi-Fi is not for free
Found housekeepers very good
Reception staff need to be informed of alternative to taxi transport from Central. Found it very difficult to establish where and when 12a bus service operates. Staff had no idea.
The room is clean and of good view.
Too too far from metro station. Nearly 20 mins by walk. And we are never be able to see any bus come at the bus stop in front of the hotel gate...
On arrival we were upgraded into a suite on the top floor which was very quiet and had a great view of Hong Kong. Location is good for central and taxi's easy to get. Staff friendly and helpful, we asked for 1 extra hour on check out time and was given no problem.
Although the hotel advertises toiletries, there isn't shower gel provided only 1 bottle of shampoo/conditioner and 1 bottle of skin cream apart from toothbrushes etc etc. When we asked the staff we were told shower gel isn't provided. The only other thing was the mini safe in the room didn't work.
Short walk to Lan Kwai Fong, Peak Tram, Botanic Gardens, Central and MTR. Good sized room. Supermarket in adjacent building. Friendly and helpful staff.
Lounge, restaurant and swimming pool not up to standard of the rest of the hotel.
Location was not very practical. Far from metro and places to eat is a long walk for older people.
Location, Fusion supermarket nearby, view. Comfort, rooms.
Staff was not very helpful at first but it got better during my stay. They do not provide the right services for a 4 stars hotel (taxi calling for example) Also it is unacceptable that in 2014 we have to pay for an in-room internet connection. That should be changed immediately
Nice rooms, fairly spacious for Hong Kong
Up quite a big hill - not within easy walking distance to the central areas.
The locality suited my meetings at Zetland Hall on Kennedy Road. Convenient public transportation with bus stop close by. Pleasant access to Park & greens. Good supermarket (Fusion) nearby.
No newspaper delivered to room. No free wifi except at hotel lobby. Rather late 'make-up room' service
The manager was very friendly-Eric I think.. I come to this hotel at least twice a year because it is near
Why don't provide the guest with wifi in the room
the room was not really perfect, sometimes the towels were not changed or I didn't get the shampon etc. Everything was a bit sloppy. The pool awful not really nice area and not clean. and to pay extra for 5 nights $ HK 300. For a 4 stars hotel the internet shouldn't be charged extra.
Location was close to friends house
Clean modern hotel a short taxi ride from down town - up a steep hill. One restaurant in the hotel. Close to the Peak Tram.
In an area of high end apartments and hotels. Nothing else within walking distance, just one other restaurant across the road.
