Location very convenient for public transport and Hong Kong's up and coming areas. Nice rooms, well equipped and suited to single for a longish stay or couple for an extended visit.
Design, location, space, comfort
Just wish they would change towels and linen daily. Perhaps even every two days! We had the same linen/towels for the four days of our stay
The view was amazing. The bed and bathroom were really nice. I loved the layout of the apartment.
I was not told about the gym that I could have worked out in. To get a taxi outside was very difficult. In the end I had to walk with my luggage to Sheung Wan station. The guy on the door did nothing to help. There were stains in the sofa.
Big room, nice furniture, good equipement
its a quiet room stay in the night
The Jervois was quiet, the apartment was roomy, stylish and well-equipped. The rain shower was luxurious. The district was not flashy but it was a short walk to a shopping precinct, the ferry station and an abundance of restaurants.
The location was a little off-putting to begin with.
Very good location, amazing roof top terrace and stunning view, very spacious rooms for the price comparing to other Hong Kong hotels - of course no facilities as you may have in other places like pool, gym or whatever but especially for longer stay The Jervois is perfect!
Size of room, quality of fittings, security, location, wifi
Easy access to Central Interesting neighbourhood Comfortable bed Large room for the price Good work space that I was able to use, to prepare a presentation
Not easy to catch a taxi; although I never tried to take a taxi, I don't recall seeing one on the street in the morning, nor in the early afternoon.
Location Staff Comfort Spacious
Lack of facilities such as gymn, restaurant, etc.
Spacious. You pay premium for the size of the rooms here given HK is so compact. But its an empty room with no mini bar.
Staff are appalling with the rudest, most disrespectful "service" I've had misfortune to experience
Lack of maintenance. Tatty. Room took most of night to cool down(AC) not kept on.
No breakfast nor room service available
Rooms were a good size and comfortably furnished
Reception staff quite often missing from front desk when needed
Location great and rooms well appointed
Attitude of staff, very unhelpful Lack of tea/coffee supplies, not replenished Slow return of large deposit for room
Excellent location & great comfort level
Loved having an apartment with basic cooking facilities
i like the fact that its not a hotel as such , more an apartment style. great location with lots of reasonable eateries close by….
I've stayed number of times over the past couple of years, i don't think its as good as before , nothing major just lots of little things…..seems quite inflexible in some areas … requested a late check out to catch a late flight ,an hours extension for free … or half a days rate but only for an extra 4 hours… need i say more !! i needed to complain re a couple of things one of which quite important. a power socket quite loosely fixed to the wall, drapes broken … floor to ceiling windows… good fitting drapes needed to block the early light… i do fully understand its not a hotel , which is part of the attarction however the front desk being your first point of contact , some of the staff quite impolite almost to the point of being rude ! However i must say the late night guy …even during the early hours always polite and welcoming ! In some areas a bit of redecoration required…it's a competitive market in hong kong , with lots of new players !! you need to stay on top of your game !
Acces to rooftop
For the money, being in HK, it's spacious and high privacy!
Basically, zero service
decor- clean modern, lots of windows and light every amenity - well equipped kitchen great location
the lack of a lobby
Location very convient
bad odours coming out of the plumbing
We loved the location. The floor to ceiling windows everywhere in the apartment were amazing. The view was so Hong Kong - apartment blocks going up the hill with the Peak behind them and gaps between so that I could see the Mo Man Temple and the gardens between the buildings. I dreamt in rectangles. The roof provided fabulous views as well particularly on a stormy night. No one else seemed to use it so we had it to ourselves whenever we went up there. Just outside the apartment was the best coffee in Hong Kong, or anywhere, and the best dim sum. It was a walk to the great shops like GOD and Homeless. We were surrounded by a great mix of people and places to go.
The lounge was not in its first flush of youth but they may be why it was such a great price.
