Great value and in unique old style neighborhood, walking district to SoHo district and Metro and ferry. In a city where a nice hotel exceeds $500+ this gives you a lovely suite with all the comfort at a better price. We got upgraded to a suite and would have stayed there a month! They have a lovely buffet breakfast with good variety of western and asian hot and cold foods. Nice self serve coffee maker where you can choose your beverage and it makes it piping hot for you. Taxi's and our private driver had a hard time locating the street. Even with gps and the map our driver had to pull over twice to find how to get around the one way streets. . so download and print out the Hotel driving directions and give to any driver. They are in multiple languages. Otherwise no problems.

Location on Hong Kong Island was good, near to MTR and ferry piers with many restaurants close to hotel. The staff were extremely helpful they could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. Breakfast was good with interesting choice each day - we were there for 17 days so got to know it well! The free mini-bar was most welcome and our suite was very comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel. If we really had to find something not to like, scrambled eggs every day got a bit boring!

Location and breakfast were fine. Its sad not to have a view in such a city. The layout of the bedrooms is silly, and impractical.

Neat and fairly small hotel in very good location. There are many good restaurants an bars nearby in Soho are and a lot to see in walkig distance. Tram and MTR stations are also very close by and still this is a pretty peaceful location. Everything met our expectations and it was good value for money in our opinion.

We had room 2302, a suite. We booked a normal room so we got an upgrade. Room was nice and spacious for Hong Kong. Bathroom had a bath and rain shower. Also all the amenities. Free minibar with 4 beers, diet coke, coke, water and some snacks. Breakfast is ok, normal stuff. Overall good value for money. Ask for high floor, otherwise it can be al little bit noisy. Especially in the weekend.

The free wifi, the gym, the great rooms. I was disappointed that the pool was not available due to a repair job. The pool was the reason for me to choose the Mercer hotel so I would have appreciated that you announced that on your website.

Very well situated hotel for good local food and browsing the many antique shops. However for departmental type stores one needs to head for Causeway Bay area. Excellent would do it again. Allow about HK$ 400 each way for airport taxis. HK is a very busy and interesting place.

Excellent courtesy of reception staff. Chris was especially helpful to us in every way possible Breakfasts were not up to the standard of the hotel overall. It was on a side street that taxis apparently find hard to locate, in an area that was not especially pretty, but safe and well situated for seeing HONG KONG'S many sights

Overall, a good, comfortable place to stay in Central Hong Kong. The hotel lacks some space in common areas, particularly in the lobby. With so many rooms, it felt crowdy and messy at busy times.

Fantastic location, just two blocks from the Sheung Wan mtr Station; 15 minute walk to Central. Quiet side street in terms of traffic, friendly staff, beds are super comfortable and rooms rather spacious. Construction noise every morning - the windows aren't double-glazed so it was still quite noisy on the 5th floor. Bathroom was basically just a glass cubicle, having to use blinds to prevent the other person from seeing you in the bathroom - blinds had big gaps and while this might be OK for married couples, it isn't if you're staying there with a friend, family or a boyfriend. Biggest dislike was after check-out when we arrived back home- upon check-in they had put a virtual deposit on my friend's Credit Card, i.e. blocked the total amount. On check-out, we split the amount between the two of us. When we got back, it turns out that the hotel had not only charged her half of the amount on check out, but had also still kept the "security deposit" on her CC - leaving her with NO money as her CC had been overdrawn due to this. Even days later, they were unable to free up the deposit. Quite frustrating and also really puts a damper on the otherwise great stay.

Great location - walking distance to MRT, Queens Road, mid-level escalators, Macau ferry terminal, Hongkong station/IFC. Breakfast was generous for a boutique hotel standard. Free mini-bar was a welcome treat!
