Score from 423 reviews Good
The room is good and clean, location is very convenience, staff is very polite, over all is very good.
The Wi-Fi is not working, some time the next door guest make a lot of noise.
Everything above my eXpectation, the room has plenty of space to accommodate my 4 large piece of luggage. The besahwet are white and clean.
The location and facilities are just excellent. And the room is cozy. It is just like my home....and I strongly recommand it as "Must Stay Place".
It's a budget hotel, easy to reach by underground. If you don't have the option to spend abnormal prices for hk hotels (as it is at moment) this is a fantastic place.
The bed is far to hard for us as European.
Room is very spacious and clean. It had its own router for serving Internet, so that you don't feel that the Internet is slow. MTR is within walking distance.
The nearest MTR is Chai Wan station. To travel to central, it will take about 30 min and to Mong Kok, it will take about 40min.
Quietness Simple and comfortable
Cant think of any
Staff is very unhelpful and with bad attitude.
very dirty , the rooms you can find so hard... terrible... very far from city center
nice staff, nice and big rooms, everythings looks pretty new. bed were comfortable, nice blacony (with no view) i would definetly go there again.
at some point of out stay we turn off the air conditioner and the walls started to get wet. staff told us that it's because humidity and that we have to keep the a/c on all the time.. pretty weird also, it takes about 20 minutes or more to get from there to causeway bay and to the central station but it's not so bad...
It is just a few minutes walk from MTR which is very convenient. It was value for money!
It's super close to the mtr station. Clean and confortable. There are washing machines that you can use and it's also possible to iron your clothes (just have to do it by yourself).
It's far away from the city centre and museums but using mrt we can get there easily. It's a bit expensive. The building is too big and is also used as student's and teacher's residence.
The rooms were not up to standard with wall paint peeling, lamps rusting and worst of all the bed linen had stains!
Air hockey and table soccer were fun, perfect location for events at Youth Squard theater. Large rooms easily accommodate family of 5.
Room wasn't the cleanest, well worn; bathroom shower was dated and had slight odor
Location is good. Room size is big by Hong Kong standard. The staff are very courteous and helpful.
Not enough lighting in the room, especially in the bathroom. Not much shelf space next to the sink.
Perfect for staying while performing in the Y theatre.
The location is very good for visiting popular beaches: Turtle cove, Stanley. Good staff, rooms are very comfortable, good conditioning, excellent clearness of rooms
If you want to visit the central part of Hong Kong choose another location
The staff and the laundry facility. Free cancellation within 48 hours.
The facility is getting old and less maintenance. It is not value for money in compare with other hotels for the same period. It will not be our first choice for our next visit to Hong Kong. We had tried the room with balcony this time. Again we paid extra for nothing. The balcony is totally lag of privacy.
Friendly staff, spacious room, particularly enjoyed the balcony.
Everything was quite ok.
Clean, Comfy bed, Simple and you get what you paid for.
They do not provide basic stuff like toothbushes and brush. no tealeaves neither. The building is like a Maze. High chance of getting lost inside the building.
Location v close to Chai Wan MTR and 24 hour direct bus 118 to Hung Hom. 24 hour check-in and check-out. Staff were efficient. Convenient to shopping malls, eating out and supermarkets. Big room for HK.
In-room wifi was not working. Could not get on the internet.
Wifi and roomy sized room
Lights in toilet and shower are very dim
Everything is excellent and no complaint. We really enjoy to stay in.
Friendly staff: polite and helpful.
Attitude of staffs was quite bureaucratic. Amenities in the room not too user friendly, no hooks provided for hanging clothing beside the bathroom.
The major problem is that the hotelier running this government built hostel has done very little to enhance its facilities, which at most, can only be classified as above average in terms of Hong Kong requirements. The fair market room value for this upper-end hostel should be approx. HK600 net per day,but then the hotelier is exploiting a government venue by charging an average of $800-$825 per day (the price I paid in Feb 2014).
