Staff and owner very friendly and helpful. Interesting activity in area and street during game nights.
Tight security necessary due to location next to Stadium.
Peter was really nice and accommodating for our stay. When the taxis went on strike he even offered us a ride with him to Tela (over an hour drive). He also made sure that we had a ride from the ferry to the hostel.
The location did not feel as safe as other cities. We were followed and harsh things were said to us because we were females. This was not my first time in a third world company and so I can tell when they are being rude and when I am sticking out.
Pick up right at the bus station. Willing to take us wherever we needed.
Ask them about any transportation you need to or from La Cieba. Also, ask about their delicious pancakes!
Great A/C in the rooms. Nice balcony. Hotel sold breakfast and dinner as well as drinks.
Located in a run-down part of La Ceiba. Small, kinda dirty shower.
had fresh towels and hot shower waiting for you also good internet and nice air conditioning in the dorm room
Staff were warm and hospitable, they helped me locate my bag which had become separated from me before I arrived and made sure everyone made the first ferry in plenty of time. This is be my first stop in La Ceiba every time.
Friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcomed and settled in Honduras. Clean rooms and good value for money!!!
Staff was helpful, friendly, it had a very mellow vibe
The place was very clean and the staff was super friendly. They pointed out plenty of good places to go/things to do, helped organize a trip for us, took us to the ferry, and were in general great. Amazing location as well. Oh and there were hammocks on every balcony so you can lie and watch the mountain.
The staff were really great and went out their way to help me arrange activities. Cheers guys!
- Bad exchange rate, so you better pay in US dollars.
The owners speak good english and were able to arrange a ride to the ferry. There was A/C.
The bed was extremely old and saggy, and the fans were both broken in my room. There is no where to go outside, as the owners say the neighbourhood is too dangerous. The owners are not paricularly friendly.
Excellent small hotel, safe and comfortable, owner was extremely helpful and if I happen to be in the area again I would definitely stay again.
Peter was really helpful..anything you need or ask for he'll sort it out. only there for one night but had a good time
transfer from bus to hostel worked just fine, as did hostel to ferry. hostel was clean. owner speaks perfect english due to being a bostonian.
mattress was awfully soft, overall commodities poor considering the relatively high price. transfer from bus to hostel and to ferry 5 dollars each. food had to be ordered and was way overpriced considering quality and quantity.
Staff was great, good wifi, and the hot water heater in shower worked great.
Peter, the hotel owner, was awesome. I stayed only one night, as I was on my way to Roatan from Pico Bonito, and I had an amazing experience. The hotel was comfortable and very safe. Peter took me to Agua Calientes and it was one of my favorite experiences in Honduras. I doubt I would have gotten much from my La Ceiba experience if I hadn't stayed at Hotel El Estadio. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Honduras. Next visit, I will spend more time in La Ceiba at Hotel El Estadio!
It is a little ways from the center of town. I do not know if this is good or bad as the town was very busy and quite loud. Since we went to the hot springs and I was in La Ceiba for less then 24 hours, I can not comment on what the town had to offer.
The staff were very friendly. It was nice to have working WiFi, Aircon, and TV, which is rare for this price in Central America.
The location looks a little bit sketchy, but it is actually pretty close to downtown. The constantly locked door (you have to ring the bell to get the staff to let you out) made me feel a bit like we were in prison.
very friendly staff , my breakfast table was set ,when I came down in the morning and I got a very nice omelet with toast etc and FRESH coffee,WIFI perfect in the room, easy with taxi from bus terminal 120 limpiras-5$ for single or you share its cheaper
