Hotel El Estadio  

Staff were very friendly and helpful, so much so that I feel bad that I cannot be more positive about the hotel.

The bathroom was full of insects, the ceiling had been sellotaped up, the shower was mouldy and cold despite being set to 'winter'. The bed was extremely soft - this may be a plus for some - they did very kindly loan me a thin mattress to place on the floor. It is also not a nice part of town and everything was shut by 9pm - obviously not their fault!

Close to down town , very good rooms to the price, walking distance to the beach, pleasant entertaining manager.

Hot shower, room a good size for 2 people. There is a tasty restaurant close by on the corner.

It was quite noisy as there was a bar nearby. Also, this hotel is a little far from the centre of La Ceiba (you need to catch a cab). If you're heading to the islands, don't take the hotel's shuttle to the ferry terminal (the owner will quote you an expensive price!) - it's really easy to catch the bus (from the corner) and it costs a quarter of the price!! This hotel is ok, but I think there are cheaper options with the same overall comfort out there.

Hotel was safe and staff were freindly.

The staff was great and assist in your travel to see the sites of Honduras offering site seein events and rafting trips up in the mountains. The rooms were great A/C and fans with a small fridge Offered a taxi ride to location that was super cheap compared to a city cab

they didn't clean the rooms every day. But not a huge deal.

The host Peter went out of his was to accommodate us, arranging transport and providing helpful and friendly advice. He reads people well so knew exactly what we needed. We have been travelling for 8 months and can confidently say that there are few hosts as good as Peter.

The owner spoke perfect english and personally organised trips to places of interest to me. Was very knowledgeable about the area and islands. Highly recommend ElEstadio as a place to stay.

קשה לי לחשוב על דבר חיובי במקום פרט לעובדה שהיה לנו איפה לישון בלילה ולא ברחוב

האיזור שבו נמצא ההוסטל רחוק מהמרכז וצמוד לקיר של האיצטדיון, שכונה מעט מפחידה, קצת מדאיג להסתובב שם גם בבוקר, הגענו לשם בלילה ואיך שנכנסנו לחדר ידענו שלא נשאר שם עוד יום, החדר היה עם ריח של טחב ועובש המקלחת לא נראית נקייה המיים החמים לא עבדו אז שאלתי בקבלה ואמרו לי להזיז את המפסק מה שגרם לי להתחשמל! בבוקר העירו אותנו בחמש וחצי כי חשבו שהזמנו מונית למעבורת לאיים, כשקמנו לבסוף בשבע וחצי אמרו לנו בקבלה שאין מעבורת בגלל הגלים ושאפשר להזמין טיסה, הלכנו לסופר לקנות משהוא לאכול וכשחזרנו, מבלי שביקשנו, הם הזמינו לנו מונית ואמרו שצריך לשלם על החדר והמונית לשדה ברמיזה שהגיע הזמן שלנו לעזוב, בעל ההוסטל אמר שמחכה לנו מטוס פרטי בשדה ושיש שם עוד זוג שטס איתנו ב 45$ כל אחד, ארזנו מהר ונסענו בשדה הזוג כבר טס עם מטוס אחר והמחיר הכי זול שמצאנו היה 66$ כלומר אין שום תיאום! לא נהנינו ומזל שעזבנו ומהר!

On your site it says free pick see below:: We were picked up at bus station 3 persons.And back to ferry next morning and were charged USD15.....So it should be more clear what exactly is free and what is not....We had a drive in the evening 2 streets away to a restaurant*offered by the manager* and picked up after 1 hour, since there is absolutely nowhere to go eat around hotel at night, and does not seem like a place you would walk around!. El Estadio offers a free pick-up service from the airport, bus terminal or ferry terminal. This service is available 24 hours a day.
