Overall The hotel personnel was reasonable.

The hotel rules are terrible due to the facts that you have to pay extra money for any guess or family members to visit you after 7pm,, senseless idea

My husband and I loved all the attention from the staff, we felt safe and secure. The food was great the restaurant was clean, this hotel was worth the price.

Well we got there on the 18th we reported that our phone in room 511 was not working, we asked for them to please check it again on the 19th but no one came to check it out. I had to order food from the hall way phone and the person on the phone taking the food order knew I was calling from the hallway and asked me why I used the hallway phone, he was surprised that no one came to fix the phone in the room. Please please make sure that when a customer complaints he or she is heard. Thank you.

The restaurant was very good value and fabulous food. Room was cleaned daily. Staff were very friendly.

Unfortunately not all staff speak English.

The front desk area was very nice but the room were very dated.

Area where hotel is located is no longer considered safe.

    The pool

I've stayed in nicer 40 dollar hotels in Guatemala City. For the price (72 USD) I will go the extra 10 and book at the Holiday Inn which has a shuttle that would have saved me an 20 USD in cab fare for a net 10 USD savings for the night. The room I had was poorly lit, the AC smelled of mildew, and the sheets of the bed did not have a crisp clean feel to them. Run down and frayed around the edges on par with the 40 USD a night room I book in Guatemala City.
