My room on second floor, at end of hall didn't have wifi...If kept the door open, or moved into the hall, got reception.
Overall The hotel personnel was reasonable.
The hotel rules are terrible due to the facts that you have to pay extra money for any guess or family members to visit you after 7pm,, senseless idea
central downtown location convenient to walk to nearby destinations We loved the balcony view to the mountains and plaza. (and I recommend asking for a room above the side street, facing west, above the side street. Probably a bit less noisy than above the main street, and has the mountain view. Hotel is pleasant and the staff is doing their best to accommodate the guests. breakfast included is at Café Skandia on the premises and is a good deal (but hard to understand what the voucher entitles you: you can order anything from the menu up to 149 Lempiras; if more, you will have to pay the difference. Frankly, you can get a Honduran breakfast in the nearby food court for about the same money as I left as a tip for the breakfast.
the main problem with this hotel is THE NOISE. At this central location of course there is noise from the street (but rather quiet between 9pm and 7am). BUT the hotel plays VERY loud music at the swimming pool - it makes sitting at the restaurant unpleasant; it makes having a room at the pool side a horrible experience; strangely since I asked for a quiet room when placing my reservation, they gave us a pool-side room, thinking that it is less loud than a room on the street side. That would have been true, if not for the torture of loud music between 7 and 10pm. air-conditioner very loud (at least it is better than the noise of very loud music from the pool area)
PHONE IN THE ROOM DID NOT WORK DURING MY STAY. ROOM AND BATHROOM IT'S NOT CLEAN ENOUGH FOR THE STARS.
The hotel desperately needs upgrading
Location, safety and security. Restaurant/pool area. Lobby is beautiful. A satisfactory Hotel for overnight stay, on route to airport on trip home...
bathrooms tacky needs updated with paint closet doors rickity dust balls under the bed !! probably somewhat over priced
My husband and I loved all the attention from the staff, we felt safe and secure. The food was great the restaurant was clean, this hotel was worth the price.
Well we got there on the 18th we reported that our phone in room 511 was not working, we asked for them to please check it again on the 19th but no one came to check it out. I had to order food from the hall way phone and the person on the phone taking the food order knew I was calling from the hallway and asked me why I used the hallway phone, he was surprised that no one came to fix the phone in the room. Please please make sure that when a customer complaints he or she is heard. Thank you.
The restaurant was very good value and fabulous food. Room was cleaned daily. Staff were very friendly.
Unfortunately not all staff speak English.
The front desk area was very nice but the room were very dated.
Area where hotel is located is no longer considered safe.
