My sister and I only stayed for the evening but were entertained by the host and his friends. The hostel was great, extremely clean, gorgeous outside area lit with little lights and a bath (any one who has travelled for a long length of time will understand the importance of that last point!) And, most importantly, the host looked like James Franco (HOT!)

    Nothing, loved it!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel has a great atmosphere, you're bound to meet other interesting travellers here! They also serve food--a chef comes in most evenings--so you don't have to brave the streets of San Pedro Sula to find a bite to eat. There is a shopping centre nearby where you can buy what you need.

It got a bit noisy at night--I only stayed for one night, so I don't know if it's always like this or if it was just particularly crowded that evening. Normally I wouldn't mind, but the night before a 4am departure it's a little stressful. There is also not much that's walking distance from the hostel, though I suppose that's the price you pay for staying in a safe area of San Pedro Sula--it's all residential.

It was nice staying in a home style hostel. Having a tv room and a computer to use was nice. The food is amazing. Great location near the bus station and a mall. Free bottled water provided which is uncommon but appreciated.

We only spent one night at the place, the girl at the reception was very kind and helpful. The neighborhood seems to be safe, close to a shopping center and a supermarket. We booked a double room with private bathroom, big, comfortable and clean. We recommend this hotel.

The only tip for all travelers is, make sure to have an agreement when asking for a taxi, especially if someone else makes the reservation for you, as taxi drivers are always trying to take advantage of tourists. It's an upsetting experience at the end of the ride to be charged significantly more money than you where supposed to pay.

Sara went out of her way to help us with booking and planning our next steps. The air-conditioned private room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The courtyard is a lovely haven to sit if you can find shade, with the well kept plants and flowers and the quirky 'mounted chairs used as plant pot shelves' all adding colour and a welcoming feel. The kitchen and fridge are free to use so this can save on meals out, and the food from the chef was delicious and good value - try the club sandwich and fries!

The air-con unit directly outside the private room we were in was incredibly noisy and interrupted our sleep but the fans drowned it out to some extent. There was significantly loud music from the bassy sound system downstairs on the second night and this wasn't addressed by staff so again added to disturbed sleep, considering most people have very early buses and taxis booked it would be appreciated if this was turned down a little.

Location. Convenience of pick-up from bus station and drop-off at airport for reasonable cost. Staff will cook dinner and breakfast on request. Pleasant communal areas.

You need to be aware that the double room with private bathroom $40 a night has NO HOT WATER. This is not made clear on the website. Noisy inside the hostel.

No bathroom sinks have stoppers so that you could wash your clothes. This is not an isolated issue as most hostels lack them
