This eco-friendly resort is set on an unspoilt beach in Sandy Bay National Park, on Roatán Island. It offers an outdoor pool, hot tub and charming Balinese-style villas surrounded by tropical gardens. Roatán is the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras, famous as one of the world’s best diving locations. Palmetto Bay can organize PADI diving courses and arrange snorkelling or scuba trips. You can enjoy gourmet cuisine, including freshly caught fish, in the Palmetto Bay’s beachfront restaurant. On Friday nights, there is a Honduran Buffet with traditional music and dancing. Each villa has a living area, a well-equipped kitchen and a covered terrace with garden views. All villas come with ceiling fans and mosquito nets. A wonderful and memorable stay with staff who ensured our trip was relaxing, comfortable and memorable. In particular manager Cecilia ensured that we had access to our funds after the local banks refused to change our travellers cheques due to a recent change in policy. Additionally thank you to Emily and other members of staff whose commitment to customer service and care exceeded expectations. The lodges are lovely and the ability to step out of the door and swing in a hammock listening to the humming birds fluttering in the trees is a great placebo. Fantastic setting with the Caribbean lapping the white beach and great food - my 11 year old son took a shine to the Salmon in Love Rub which he dined on over four consecutive nights. As we'd travelled overland from El Salvador, the hotel was a welcome respite and refuge. A definite recommendation and excellent value for money.

El personal de restaurante es el más amable del mundo, mis hijos de 4,6 y 9 años se levantaban temprano solos a desayunar y el personal se encargaba de serviles su desayuno y de que nada les faltara sin necesidad de que mi esposa o yo estuviéramos presente, celebramos el cumpleaños del más pequeño y nos hicieron un pastel y una pequeña fiesta sin costo, fue una excelente vacación. Todo estuvo fenomenal

Su formulación de cabañas. Los servicios de comida, sobre todo los tiempos, fueron pésimos. El hotel se encuentra muy aislado e incomunicado. Si tiene cabañas para que uno pueda hacerse las comidas debería de ofrecer mejores opciones para ir a al pueblo y comprar.
