we arrived to guaras and needed to see a doctor. rockey the manager took us by himself to the hospital, helped us with the language and stayed with us until we were finish. then took us to two ATM and to buy food although it was 12am. the rooms and the AC were excellent and in tue morning we had great coffee and cookies for free!
In the entrance there are a lot of musquitos, but the rooms are clean.
Rocky & his lovely family are the best hosts ever. They made us feel relaxed in a crazy city. They spoke english for us as we embarrassingly didn't speak a word of spanish! We felt so comfortable here that we ended up booking tickets back to san pedro sula before flying home & they kindly looked after our excess baggage in the interim! They are genuine, friendly, trustworthy & massively helpful people! I highly recommend staying here.
Staff - very accommodating!
The reception, transport and attendance of the staff were simply excellent.
The wall decoration. It called to mind Oscar Wilde's remark in regard to the wall paper in the Paris hotel room where he was dying: "One of us has to go".
The room was dreary, the shower abysmal. The owner was somewhat helpful, but we encountered others in the city who were far more helpful.
Great hostel! The owner Rocky was waitin for me at the bus station (even though my bus was delayed by over 1.5 hours). He drove me to buy dinner as it was late evening, and helped with everything possible. Even though I had booked a simple bed in a dorm, I had a private room for myself, with AC and a TV, the wifi was great and it was one of the cleanest hostels I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot). Great place, I won't think twice to stay there again!
Cute little family run hotel - very personal, excellent service. The owner, Rocky, is amazing - very communicative, and helpful in so many ways. We had a number of things we needed help with, and he took care of everything for us.
Complimentary pick up service from the bus terminal. Rocky was very friendly and helpful. He even took us to a nearby local place to eat. We really enjoyed our conversation about life in Honduras. The room was very simple, but clean and lots of space (we stayed in a double room with private bath)
