MAIN DOOR TO BUILDING WAS NOT CAPABLE OF BEING LOCKED .THE ENTRANCE AREA WAS DISGUSTING
All the nic nacs and lovely art work.
Creepy manequin in bedroom. No big cups for tea coffee.
The stay was nice
Lots of noise from other rooms above us.
Management was very professional and very accommodating. Checkout was supposed to be at 10:30am but since our flight wasn't until 10pm and the apartment had no incoming guests the day that we were leaving, they allowed us to check out late in the afternoon. Location is in the middle of old town near the water. Apartment is beautifully decorated and beds are super comfortable. Kitchen is very modern and well stocked. 3 air conditioning units allow for temperature adjustment to your comfort in each bedroom and common area.
Central location means that there is pretty loud music from surrounding bars until late at night, but with the windows closed, the sound insulation is pretty good. Everything else was perfect!
NEXT DOOR TO IRISH PUB
The apartment is stunning and truly made our holiday, we didnt want to go out! In ideal location to all amenities. Whislt Irish Bar is below and suggested by others was noisy, we didnt find it a problem. Nero and Andrea were the perfect hosts. Would highly recommend
The fact we had to leave !
Loved the decor, paintings and thoughtful design.
Double bedding to go with the single beds lashed together would be good.
Excellent Staff to help you everything you need is in the apartment excellent
Nothing top dislike only coming away to go home
The apartment was spacious, but not 'luxury'. Comprising the upper floor of an old town house, plus the attic space as a giant bedroom, it certainly had the character we were hoping for, including beautiful views across the Old Town from the shuttered windows. The staff were nice, and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable.
The apartment we stayed in, Vincent Van Gogh, was directly above the bar area in the Old Town - a fact we should have been informed of beforehand, as the apartment literally vibrates from the club music until it stops at midnight. Several lamps didn't work, there was no real stereo system, the safe had no instructions, crockery was broken and chipped and there were, inexplicably, plastic plants and flowers throughout. They are tacky. For the amount of money we paid, I would expect real plants, and fresh flowers not some cheap imitations. The attic space - a lovely place to sleep, had an old chair, some building materials (wood) and an old floor mop stuffed into a corner. Not acceptable in an apartment branded as 'luxury'. The rest of the apartments furniture was old and poor quality. It all needs replacing - except the beds. Either reduce the cost and drop the word 'luxury' from the title, or raise the standards. Currently, I would say the apartment does not meet expectations.
The location was good, if you do not mind climbing steps to reach the apartment.
The wifi connection was weak The shower cubile was not clean (orange slime on the walls). The TV remote did not work. The furniture and furnishings were well worn and tired looking. This was the worst value apartment we rented in Croatia and was not nearly as good as it appeared in the pictures.
We stayed for a week in the one bedroom apartment on the second floor at Miha Pracata, which was simply fabulous. Whilst only one bedroom is available for let there are certain parts of the apartment which are closed off for private use by the owners, so in reality you are getting the living accommodation of a much larger flat, with huge (and very well equipped) kitchen and dining room, separate living room and terrace, a separate WC and bedroom with en suite bathroom. It also has really high ceilings (3.5-4m) and air con throughout. The terrace was big enough to accommodate a large 8 seater dining table, 4 wicker chairs, a coffee table and a wicker sun lounger and was very nice for soaking up the late afternoon sunshine but also provides a nice amount of shade throughout the heat of the day. The apartment itself has been finished to a very high specification and the finishes and decor are very modern, yet welcoming. The person in charge clearly has an eye for interior design. If you want to stay in the old town, then the location can't be faulted as you are just a matter of steps from the Strada and all that it has to offer. You should, however, be aware that the old town itself is a bustling tourist attraction with lots of bars and restaurants, which can be noisy at times. The terrace abuts an Irish bar and although we quite enjoyed the live acoustic guitar music (not so much the din of football on the tv), those looking for peace and quiet may not think the same. You don't however hear this in the bedroom which is on the other side of the building so it shouldn't affect your sleep. The large four bedroom flat is also directly above and that can attract larger groups of people and associated noise. There are a lot of comments on here about the inconvenience of having to put rubbish out through the night. We really didn't find this a problem and it would be the same system anywhere in the old town.
Terrace relaxation sometimes interrupted by the Irish Bar below. It is on the second floor which was absolutely fine for us, but wouldn't be suitable for disabled access and those with pushchairs may want to think twice (although the old town itself is pretty full of steps, so may not be the place for you, anyway!)
Stayed in the large 4 bed apartment for the last two nights of our Croatian trip. We all adored the apartment! Plenty of room for 8 adults & gorgeous roof top terrace! Nero was very friendly & helpful. Only regret is we couldnt stay longer!
Directions were very easy, staff were exceptionally friendly, apartment was modern and clean, great location!
Top floor apartment had lovely views but was a bit challenging to get to with the luggage as there was no elevator. Not a big problem though! Bars and restaurants open quite late so was a bit noisy when trying to sleep, but this was expected, and again, not a big deal!
It is really a great apartment, well furnished and with a magic terrace! It's a five stars apartment.
I can't recommend this place enough. We stayed in the Napp apartment and couldn't have been happier. The location is excellent, the apartment is beautiful with plenty of space and the staff was super friendly. I would definitly stay here again.
I personally thought this place was perfect. However, I will caution that this particular apartment is on the top floor of a building in the center of a lively town. If you need a place that is quiet, without any stairs, then I'd think twice about renting this apartment. I can't speak for the other apartments though. They may be different.
We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Beautiful and quirky inside. Would stay there again. Owners were lovely, welcoming and gave great recommendations about where to go in Dubrovnik.
Located in the heart of the Old City, this apartment is an excellent choice for young crowd or for the young at heart. Great AC in each room, large modern shower, good size fridge and stove.
No microwave, no large beds but two single beds closed together which was not comfortable if you are a couple. Apt located above a bar with nightclub music going on until 2am and an outdoor crowd of at least 300 who likes to have a good time until morning hours, so if you are looking for a quiet place or need lots of sleep this apt is not a good choice for you. The church bells will wake you up every morning at 6am , 7am , etc. Located at the 4th floor with no elevator is also an issues if you have a hard time climbing stairs or lots of luggage
One of the most luxury Apartments I've been si far. Excelent location, nearby supermarkets, Dubrovnik is wonderful.
Irish pub nearby, live music until 1AM makes the sleep a little bumpy.
Everything!!!!. The apartment had everything we could possibly want very clean and fresh. Beds were comfy. Lovely clean linen. Outside; Lots of lovely Restaurants and Shops. Boat trips to different islands. The people of Dubrovnik work very hard to make this a special place and it is! We were amazed at how clean all the streets are. We ate in different places and never had a bad meal. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Felt very sad to leave.
The amount of very wide and high concrete stairway to reach apartment. 64 steps altogether. There should be a warning about this. Ok, if you are young and fit. I have had knee operations and although made it to the top. My knee was hurting. A warning please!. Not for the elderly or infirm
Location was superb. The host at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. I have recommended this apartment to a friend who's travelling to Dubrovnik next week having only returned two days ago. The host also recommended us to eat at their restaurant. Great and unique menu. The head waiter and his team were very attentive. The head waiter gave us a detailed description of each of our dishes.
Surrounding with good food and resto. And in the evening with the lights from old buildings and cafes makes Dubrovnik more attractive to walk around. With the amazing water from Adriatic Sea~ you will not avoid to jump in the water..
Stairs to "heaven" ... Specially you have to bring all your luggage up and down.. Next time we should prepare and learn from our experience.
Perfect location to explore the city and relax at the end of the day. Lovely appointed decor and living space, comfortable bed, great bathroom, well equipped kitchen and appreciated the complimentary coffee machine especially in the morning, in addition to the air-conditioning and wifi. Andreja made our stay even more special with her kindness, information and great customer service.
Leaving... Some may not be so keen to walk up 4 flights of stairs, but we knew that in advance, and it is part of Dubrovnik's charm, allows for a good appetite and strengthened muscles
The noise and rubbish smells from the trucks collecting rubbish from outside our apartment building.
The friendly and helpful attitude of Andrea and Nero, the excellent dinner and service from Alex, the beautiful flat and the very helpful staff who helped us with our bags to the shuttle bus - and refused to accept a tip
The stairs to the flat - but it was so great when we got there
Absolutely great apartment. Such good value for money and perfect for a group of friends. Nero was so helpful and knowledgable!! It was great to have him on hand. Only disappointment is that an amazing weekend is all over!!
