I liked it because the location was good, beach was nice, hotel staff was friendly Hotel was very noisy , we couldn t sleep because of water sound that comes from other rooms. We could hear people talks in other rooms even their yawn ! Doors did not have any protection because of that we could hear all doors opening and closing. Noisiness was terrible that made us awake during the night..

Good location - next to beach (no sand, just stones, but with sun beds and umbrellas), shop, bus stop (bus no 4, ticket 12kn ~ 2e), cash machine, post box and restaurants. Also few minutes by car to main bus station and port, taxi to airport cost about 250kn (35e). Staff nice and friendly (talking in few languages). Daily cleaning services, towels changed every day. Very good breakfast. Beautiful sea view from balcony, especially at night. Tv channels in few languages. No lift, city centre 4km away. Air Conditioning wasn't working very good and with 30c outside couldn't cool down room to less than 25c (what can be a problem at night). Double bad was in fact 2 single beds standing next to each other. No cattle or fridge in the room. Very high price! I couldn't believe that 2* hotel can charge same like 4* and it was already end of September! Hotels in Canaries are more than twice cheaper than this and on the top of everything staff in reception informed us that price went up by 35e comparing with reservation because course Euro - Kuna changed - unbelievable...

The location was superb, just a few meters down some steps to the sea. This meant an early morning swim was on the agenda. Rooms were spacious and we thought were better than the 2 star rating given to the hotel. Breakfast is in a restaurant across the road and whilst not a full blown English, was more than adequate. Bus to the old town stops right outside the hotel and is a 10 minute ride away, every 20 mins. I was happy with the hotel. This isn't 5 star lux, but is more than adequate if you want a good value hotel. Be warned, there is no lift. Only three floors, but this might prove difficult if you struggle walking or climbing stairs. The hotel has no pool, but you can use other pools nearby at a cost.

The location is perfect, lapad beach just few steps from the hotel and a bus stop to go to the old town just at the hotel entrance. The bus takes just 10 mins. Breakfast good enough. Staff was friendly, they speak several languages. In order to give few advices to improve we would say they should invest in buying more hairdryer, they had just one for all the hotel; the rooms are good but the forniture is a bit old fashion, a small refurbishment would be brilliant.

Convenient location (in particular good frequent bus to Dubrovnik) No lift - hard work carrying a fair-sized case up three floors! Buffet supper in restaurant in principle good but virtually trampled underfoot by coach groups who appear not to have eaten for many days

Great location. Bus stop outside the door and only 20 mins from the Old city. Bank link only metres away and the sea is 2 mins by foot. Hotel was basic but very clean. I did not require my room to be cleaned everyday yet when I returned there was clean towels left outside my door. Staff were helpful in arranging taxis and excursions. Breakfast was fine too. Maybe a little tired of the same food every morning which included sausages, boiled eggs. Scrambles eggs. Cornflakes, coco flakes, 3 vareiy of breads, cheese, ham, tomatoes, mini croissants, jam, youghurt and fresh fruit salad, tea or coffee.Overall great value for money and hope to revisit again Drinks from the bar were only available from 6pm. Lucilky there is a shop and supermarket closeby where I could buy water to quinch my thirst in the hot weather.I Would have liked to see more variety in the breakfast. Only 1 variety of cheese and 2 meats. Serving plates were very small. More like side plates so needed to take a couple of trips to satisfy the hunger. You can eat as much as you want though

It was clean and very well located, across the road from the beach. The range of TV stations was very good also. I thought it was incredibly expensive for what it offered - four star prices for two star facilities! I can still hardly believe that for the price I paid there was no hairdryer in the room. Instead there was one hairdryer for the WHOLE HOTEL of 150 rooms, which had to be borrowed from reception - when no-one from the other 149 rooms had it. Come on, Hotel Adriatic, you can do better than that!

The hotel was basic but the location was good, within walking distance to the beach and a bus service that took us direct to the old town and stopped outside the hotel. Beautiful view across the sea as the sun went down. It was clean and comfortable with a daily maid service and the staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints just a comment... Being brits it would have been good to have had a kettle in the room as a cuppa tea would have been nice first thing in the morning

The hotel is obviously old and would definitely need some refurbishing to make it more presentable. Location was great though. It's near the bus stop and is fronting the beach. Rooms were kept clean. No elevator.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The description suggested the hotel was closer to the old city. It was a short bus ride in; however, I was under the impression it was walking distance to the city. For a hotel of that calibre and for that price, I would expect the hotel to provide a shuttle to the airport.

Easy bus trip into the Old Town and bus tickets are available from reception. The island hopping cruise with the Captain's Lunch, as recoimmended by Front Desk staff, is an absolute must-do!! Fantastic day. The location of the hotel really is terific. None of the staff could be faulted in any way - they were all very helpful and friendly. The bed was the very worst I've ever experienced.. Luckily, being twin singles, there was enough room to put the mattress on the floor....oh, and no lift, so if you have heavy bags, babies, etc, you could have as many a seven flights of stairs....depending on room number.

I didn't like that the hotel staff were not particularly helpful. When I asked questions they were answered with a minimal response & I had to figure out most things myself. Also the compendium in the room needs to be updated as the spa prices were inaccurate & it should also have more visitor information.
