Good location - next to beach (no sand, just stones, but with sun beds and umbrellas), shop, bus stop (bus no 4, ticket 12kn ~ 2e), cash machine, post box and restaurants. Also few minutes by car to main bus station and port, taxi to airport cost about 250kn (35e). Staff nice and friendly (talking in few languages). Daily cleaning services, towels changed every day. Very good breakfast. Beautiful sea view from balcony, especially at night. Tv channels in few languages. No lift, city centre 4km away. Air Conditioning wasn't working very good and with 30c outside couldn't cool down room to less than 25c (what can be a problem at night). Double bad was in fact 2 single beds standing next to each other. No cattle or fridge in the room. Very high price! I couldn't believe that 2* hotel can charge same like 4* and it was already end of September! Hotels in Canaries are more than twice cheaper than this and on the top of everything staff in reception informed us that price went up by 35e comparing with reservation because course Euro - Kuna changed - unbelievable...

Great location right next to the bus stop which goes into the old town and very close to Lapad beach and cafe/restaurant strip. The reception staff and cleaners all spoke good english and were extremely helpful. Plenty of hot water and lots of extra bedding in the cupboard if needed. The hotel itself is fairly souless in atmosphere with old fashioned long gloomy passages and bland rooms. There was a fairly pervasive smell of stale cigarette smoke everywhere including all non smoking areas.

The location was superb, just a few meters down some steps to the sea. This meant an early morning swim was on the agenda. Rooms were spacious and we thought were better than the 2 star rating given to the hotel. Breakfast is in a restaurant across the road and whilst not a full blown English, was more than adequate. Bus to the old town stops right outside the hotel and is a 10 minute ride away, every 20 mins. I was happy with the hotel. This isn't 5 star lux, but is more than adequate if you want a good value hotel. Be warned, there is no lift. Only three floors, but this might prove difficult if you struggle walking or climbing stairs. The hotel has no pool, but you can use other pools nearby at a cost.

Liked the location and the view. It was a little too basic. Wish it had an elevator. It was on a noisy street.

It was clean and very well located, across the road from the beach. The range of TV stations was very good also. I thought it was incredibly expensive for what it offered - four star prices for two star facilities! I can still hardly believe that for the price I paid there was no hairdryer in the room. Instead there was one hairdryer for the WHOLE HOTEL of 150 rooms, which had to be borrowed from reception - when no-one from the other 149 rooms had it. Come on, Hotel Adriatic, you can do better than that!

The hotel was basic but the location was good, within walking distance to the beach and a bus service that took us direct to the old town and stopped outside the hotel. Beautiful view across the sea as the sun went down. It was clean and comfortable with a daily maid service and the staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints just a comment... Being brits it would have been good to have had a kettle in the room as a cuppa tea would have been nice first thing in the morning

The hotel is obviously old and would definitely need some refurbishing to make it more presentable. Location was great though. It's near the bus stop and is fronting the beach. Rooms were kept clean. No elevator.

Nothing much... This is a hotel that needs serious updating of its facilities...Only good thing about it is its location in the Lapad Bay which is minutes away from the old town-Dubrovnik by car or you can also take the bus that picks up right in front of the hotel.... Despite the fact that we booked 3 nights initially, we amended our booking down to 1 night and found another hotel for the rest of our stay... Very old building highly likely to be from the Tito era...

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The description suggested the hotel was closer to the old city. It was a short bus ride in; however, I was under the impression it was walking distance to the city. For a hotel of that calibre and for that price, I would expect the hotel to provide a shuttle to the airport.

Easy bus trip into the Old Town and bus tickets are available from reception. The island hopping cruise with the Captain's Lunch, as recoimmended by Front Desk staff, is an absolute must-do!! Fantastic day. The location of the hotel really is terific. None of the staff could be faulted in any way - they were all very helpful and friendly. The bed was the very worst I've ever experienced.. Luckily, being twin singles, there was enough room to put the mattress on the floor....oh, and no lift, so if you have heavy bags, babies, etc, you could have as many a seven flights of stairs....depending on room number.

It was very convenient, with the bus stop to town right in front of the hotel, easy access to the water if you wanted to go to the little beach right there, really nice views, and good budget. Nothing bad to say-- it was really convenient, nothing luxurious but really good value if you want a nice clean budget place to use as your base in Dubrovnik.
