The service was perfect. We had really a good time in Hrvatska. Our special whishes (2 pillows per person,...)...really perfect service. |

the hotel is comfortable nice and clean in an eccelense location. the room (we took upgrated room) is recently renovated the bed is comfortable. |

Hotel Ambasador is very nice hotel,and if you choose junior suite sea view room, you will not be wrong,as view from wide terrace is more then wonderfull.Indoor swiming pool is also nice with sea water. Parking fee for garage, as well as you must pay if you park in front of the hotel.Internet also must be payed.Room service costs 9EUR per person,what we considered as expencive.Hotel looks a bit old looking from outside,but inside is renovated.Breakfast is finished strictly at 10 o'clock. |

My room 710, a suite, excellent view and comfortable settings. Room service relatively fast for such a large hotel (20-30 min). Professional preparation of the massage staff at the SPA excellent. Daytime concierge and reception staff helpful, professional, efficient and delightfully kind. All the staff in bars, SPA, and restaurants marvellous, kind and helpful. The position of the hotel is outstanding. Cleanliness (a sensitive issue for me) exemplary. Plenty of beach padded chairs, some shade. Beach concrete and pebbles, clean and beautiful; mini bar (when stocked) has a good selection of mainly local drinks (which I find delightful and a good commercial choice) and main lobby bar has a vast selection of all top shelf international drinks Night shift reception staff was painfully rude. Listed night room service (11PM to 7AM) is not existing. SPA rather expensive for what and where it is. (prices the same as 5* SPA in Roma center). Food of average quality. Room service promptness was fine, the quality of service itself was rather poor. All bars and services stop at 11PM and there is no way to get any food after that time. (if you are on jet-lag this is very uncomfortable) Unruly loud children at all times, up and around until midnight, so it is hard to find a quiet spot daytime or have a drink by the pool in the evening. Almost all night loud music from nearby discotheque. Yet, I had adapted, stayed mostly in my room and SPA and was fine. Not a 5* hotel, but I will go back. |

Except the the cleaning woman, everyone in the staff was very kind and helpful. The view to the sea was great, the room was comfortable. The hotel is on the beach, (with own beach)I liked it. I enjoyed the whirlpool indoor the hotel. The luggage room usement possibility was great. In spite of the tip I gave to the cleaning woman on the 8th floor there was no bathroom cleaning until my complaint at the reception. The cleaning woman was hurt after my complaint and and non-stop speaking (in croatian). I think she should been moved from her position. Otherwise the outdoor pool was extremely dirty (dirty water and sands) for days until the hotel changed. I found the breakfast a bit boring. The hotel is on the beach, but I found a bit far from the city-center by walking. And finally I wanted to stay until evening on the last day (because of my train departure time) but the hotel was not flexible in this question in spite of I did not ask it for free and as I saw there were free rooms (Sunday evening at the end of summer) |

Excellent space in the our room. Great view through the glass walls. Nice terrace with the opportunity to shade it. Private pool, private beach. Some small maintenance would be necessary (flushing, taps, air conditioning, etc.). Everything worked but not at the top. |

The hotel was mainly for old people. Only very old turist at the hotel. Moreover the hotel didnt manage to have towels enough for all guest by the pool. |

I liked very much my room with see wiev, city ceter in nor fare from hotel, there is beautiful promenade from hotel to the city center right by sea they should do a little bit more about serving breakfast, at least this is 5 stars hotel, anyway breakfast was good and enough |

The view Unfriendly staff. Hotel does not deserve 5 stars. Internet access quite expesinve (Everywhere in Opatija internet is for free). Parking fee. Poor room facilitites. |

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders im sehr schönen Wellnessbereich wurden wir ausgezeichnet betreut. Leider ist dieser Bereich mit max. 10 Liegeplätze für ein Hotel dieser Größe sehr klein geraten. Die Lage ist ruhig und man hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Bucht. Bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie würde man erwarten, dass die Parkplätze und der Eintritt in den Wellnessbereich / Hallenbad inkludiert ist. Leider ist für alles extra zu bezahlen. |
