We were surprised by the appearance of the building. From the Booking photo, is seemed to be quite modern, but it looks a bit post-communist-ish. Hope they will get down to that. Very first impression of out-of-order doors wasn´t too nice either. Inside area of the hotel is very neat, luxury looking and comfortable, though.
My only serious complaint would target the service, specifically waitresses during the breakfasts and dinners. Dirty dishes layering on tables, very long waiting for beverages, preparing tables and (!) serving tables for breakfast shift almost an hour before the dinner ends...Lack of glasses, jugs, forks, spoons... Sometimes waitresses were quite rude, almost overlooking us, cleaning up our table completely when we just went for a dish, I mean. These little details make me question the fifth star (think it´s not fair to lower standarts because it is "just" Croatia, isn´t it).
We loved the indoor heated pool, the overall available facilities around the hotel.
Must say, the garden restaurant Hortenzia offers very good quality for the money, we had some very nice meals there. Service over there is very nice too, at least with their effort. We liked the vast variety for half-board meals too.
Gym is nice, small though.
Rooms are superb, nicely reconstructed, very comfortable and designed in modern way. Plus very clean (many thanks to the cleaning staff and maids, room made during the breakfast, clap!) Also receptionists are very polite, and service around pool nice and friendly.
Parking is 10 euros per day.
