Hotel was beautifully designed and had a great pool and beach chair lounging area. Breakfast buffet was great and one of the better one's we experienced in hotels in Europe. The bathroom design while asthetically pleasing is not very well designed. Water pours out of the tub while you shower because the glass barrier does not cover enough and water splashes out of the sink everytime you wash your hands. Only other issue would be the water temperature of the pool. Way too cold! |

The staff is very kind and helpfull; the food is good, but it could be improved; the buildings are very new and the pool is extraordinary. |

Very nice hotel. Stunning design in rooms, confortable bed. Pool was great, with many different areas to relax by. Very good buffet breakfast. Fantastic gym with great view and top-quality, new and user-friendly machines. Ideal location, a nice walk under the trees along the sea to get to city centre. Superior room a bit on the small side but still very confortable and nicely designed. Very poor service on the part of a busboy when we needed help with getting luggage down to the car. |

We enjoyed the hotel swimming pool (wonderful for adults and children), the seaside and buffet breakfast. Hvar is a charming place to visit (a little St Tropez). The hotel is very big and modern - but it may lack some more decoration and charm. The Staff seemed depressed, stressed or worried. |

This place has it all great pool,great rooms, seconds from the adriatic, and a nice stroll to hvar harbor. I've stayed at hotel Amfora twice now and I will be back for a third and most likely a fourth. |

I enjoyed the views and the wonderful walk way to the marina and old town. The pool area was beautiful. The hotel is difficult to navigate around as it is large and has different levels and separate elevators. We were near the back of the complex so we could not take one elevator from our room down to the restaurant or pool area. |

The location of the hotel is good one - between the harbour and the beaches. I can recommend it to all young couples. We stayed there for 3 nights, it was very comfortable and romantic. The hotel also has a very nice pool where you can spend the afternoons. Walking distance to the harbour. Easy to reach other beaches - which are full of young people. The breakfast is poor for a 4 star holiday hotel. One morning the hotel was out of electricity and hot water (not so nice when you are under the shower :)) we called the reception and they said that half of the city has no electricity and the hotel doesn't have a secondary solution for this situation. The hotel doesn't have its own beach. |

The decoration of the rooms was nice. Small details make of a hotel a special place to stay and in this hotel the details are missing. It is not enough to have a well decorated room if the service does not come with. I would strongly suggest that The hotel review the photos of the rooms that are available in the internet, they are not in accordance with what you get, take care of "expectations" the rooms are very small. I stayed in this hotel cos of teh beach but all the beaches are private so there is no reason to pay more to stay in this hotel if I have to pay extra for the beach.other things: not refilling the soap, tissue in the room, the staff in general is nice and polite but some were a bit rude for my standards. |

facilities, pool, friendly staff, good breakfast, - ironing was an issue; they don't provide you with an iron or a board and you must use their laundry services (for a fee of course) which is really inconvenient if you need to iron a shirt for immediate use (you get the ironed shirt the next day when you request their service). Parking was inconvenient (no valet). Rooms are a little small. |

coloseness to the beach and a view...rooms could use better towels food was ok but nothing grand bit overrated for 4 star hotel they made a mistake and charged me different higher rate then one confirmed by booking .com but said that they will credit my visa card |

Nice location (just 5 mins on foot away from Hvar center connected by a very cute foot path by the sea) - Fun swimming pool on various levels - Great rooms with modern bright decoration - Relatively easy free parking around hotel - Nice all day bar 'bonj les bains' on the sea just next to hotel Very expensive |

Hotel modern and well decorated. The staff of the hotel is really not helpful at all. Being sometimes even disrespectful especially at the swiming pool. Additionally the number of deckchairs in the swimmimg pool area is not enough and therefore customers reserve them with towels before breakfast. It's a pity because the hotel is good but at the end you don't feel comfortable due to this kind of details. |

Great hotel for families with children. Our 7-yr old daughter loved the Kids Club and the water slide. It was quite difficult to get information from the concierge. For instance, we asked about taking the ferry from Hvar to Split. The concierge told us where the ticket office was and that tickets could be bought one day ahead. They failed to mention that if you don't get there by 11am, the tickets sell out! They also didn't mention that you need to book a transfer from the hotel to the harbor 24 hours in advance, so we had to walk to the harbour with all of our bags..... In sweltering heat~ |

Great location and pretty good pool area. Close to Hula Hula bar which has a great after beach party Breakfast was like feeding time at the zoo. Impossible to get on the internet as the four terminals were always being used by young children to play video games, with no adults in site |

I enjoyed staying here but found the size of the hotel a bit overwelming. It seemed to take us a very long time to get from our room to other parts of the resort. I found there were alot of children in the pool, it would have been nice if the was an area just designated for adults.On the whole I enjoyed the stay there. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and modern. |

The hotel is great, very well located - only a short walk to town. The pool area is fantastic. There was free internet. I would stay there again The breakfast lacks of healthy food. Showers get water on the floor... |

The facilities - th epool, spa, restaurants were fantastic.The location of the hotel was amazing & very convenient to get to.Receiving 10% discount in all hotel bars/restaurants, this included sister hotels on Hvar which was great. The hotel can hold 700 guests, however, there were only 200 pool lounges, on anumber of days we were unabe to get a pool lounger & had to pay for one on the beach. I did not think this was appropriate. There was no iron or ironing board in the room which was odd for a 5 star hotel. The shower in the room was poorly designed & would flood the bathroom floor everytime the shower was used. |
