Clean, friendly staff, great pool. Going in June / July still didnt seem to be "summer" season and not all the extra activities were available. |

The setting is unbelievably beautiful. The staff was accommodating in getting us a room that made us happy and with a very early check-in as well. Spa treatment was organized, which was also wonderful. The pool area is fantastic. The rooms were very clean and modern. There was free internet. Great breakfast buffet with a view. Recommended restaurant, The Maestral, was delicious although expensive. I would stay there again. Free shuttle ride back over to the port early in the morning was a benefit. |

First impressions of the Amfora Hvar were so great that we extended our stay as we were checking in. The location, facilities and quality of this hotel were beyond expectation. Would recommend to anyone. Ask for sea view! |

Clean, and good style hotel, the services are very good, everybody speaks very well in english. The restaurants are perfect and the services as well. Staff is very kind and helpfull (except when they wanted me to pay in croatian kuna the hotel bill that was calculated in Euros at booking.com - that was not mentioned in the booking condition) No own direct beach for the hotel guest. The breakfast meals and drinks are poor value. Both types of coffees are horrible. No real cornflakes or musli, poor amount of cheese (only one type). |

The Amphora is a large, luxury hotel with all the comforts and amenities one would expect from a fine resort. We were fortunate to get a room with a stunning view of the sea and pool area. It was a joy to watch the sailboats and yachts manouvering in and out of the harbor from our balcony. The breakfast area offered great views as well. The food and service in the morning were excellent. Outside of breakfast (included in the room rate), meals and drinks at the resort are very expensive. There are many restaurants in Hvar town, only minutes away along the seaside path, that offer a great variety of meals for lunch and dinner for considerably less money. |

Great pool area, user-friendly hotel with a staff that tried to be helpful. being met at the ferry for transport to the hotel was a great start. The only way to the pool was a long hall of stairs, and to get to the beach from the pool required walking around - the connecting gate was closed. |

The setting of the hotel and walk into Hvar town is magical The hotel is very impersonal and we found the constant 'disco' music played around the pool area totally irritating |

The facilities were excellent, view from our room was spectacular, very clean hotel, excellent location for access to Hvar town, only 5 minute walk. Hotel beach one of the nicest on the island. Free internet in Lobby, kids club, excellent buffet breakfast. |

I like the chic refurbishment of the room and bathroom fittings are innovative. The show and bath combination is designed as such that water spills on the floor easily and so the bathroom is wet. |
