Hotel Amor  

The hotel is very well situated close to the beautiful beaches of Supetar.

My family and I did not like the beach towel policy. Clients would get towels if they went to the very little hotel pool, but no towel if they went to the beach. None of us brought beach towels as we travelled from Brazil to Croatia, and booked a 4 star hotel in order to have service. The maid also would not regularly put bathroom towels in the bathroom, forgot the bath carpet, toilet paper, etc., so in the evening we had to go get the missing towels at reception. Breakfast was not good, the coffee hardly drinkable.

The service was slow.and the bathroom was not clean

Красивая, ухоженная территория, много красивых цветников и растений, пряных трав. Мы жили в корпусе Вилла Vela Luka. Очень красивое старинное здание с индивидуальным дизайном и с отличным современным ремонтом. Корпус расположен прямо перед морем с замечательной набережной. Достаточно разнообразное питание на ужине. Внимательные официанты, оперативно убирают грязную посуду и следят за заполненностью шведского стола.

Несколько однообразные завтраки. Не работает бильярд, маленький бассейн. Жаль, что нет доступа в интернет из номеров, только в общественных зонах.

Bár a Hotel Amorba foglaltunk szállást és nem ott helyeztek el minket, meg voltunk elégedve, mivel egy gyönyörű villában kaptunk szobát, közvetlenül a parton. (Villa Vela Luka) a reggeli bőséges, friss és kiváló volt.A Személyzet mindenben a rendelkezésünkre állt.

Rögtön megérkezésünkkor probléma merült fel a lefoglalt szobával,-a Hotel Amorba- ahová foglaltuk a szállást- nem volt szabad szoba.Az csak a mi szerencsénk, hogy egy igazán remek alternatívát ajánlottak fel helyette,bár nem volt terasz ahogy a foglalásban szerepelt. (Valamint egy plusz napot ingyen, a kellemetlenségért) Azonban az utolsó napon megpróbáltak minket egy másik szobába áttenni, -valószínűleg a plusz nap miatt- amitől csak az mentett meg minket, hogy kirándulni voltunk. íGy az érkezésünkkor elkövetett hibájukat megismételték egy másik családdal, akik akkor érkeztek.

Hotellihuone erillisessä rakennuksessa, upeat maisemat merelle. Hotelli rannassa, lyhyt matka uimaan ja kävelyreitti pitkin rantaa. Lyhyt matka laivarantaan, jopa kävellen syömään keskustan ravintolaan.

Uuden karhea huone surkea. WC:n ovea ei voinut sulkea. Kaikki vesi suihkusta valui kylpyhuoneen ja wc:n lattialle koska lattian kallistukset olivat väärin joten lattiakaivo ei toiminut. Vesi pysyi lattialla ja osa valui huoneen puolelle. Tallelokero ei toiminut. Ilmastointia ei saatu kuntoon vaikka siitä kahteen eri kertaan huomautettiin ja pyydettiin korjaamaan. Henkilökunta oli epäystävällinen. Hotellin aamiainen oli surkea, ei vastaa 4 tähden aamiaista. Hotellin rantaravintola oli surkea, ei ostettavaa ei palvelua. Henkilökunnan mielestä kaikki yllä oleva vastasi 4 tähden hotellin vaatimuksia.

It was very peaceful, especially in the evening, when the only sound was coming from the sea. The beach was very nice with a lot of shadow under pine trees.

When we came in hotel Amor I was placed into a very bad room with a view toward neigbouring walls of the Fitness-center. After complaining that we payed higher price for the "sea-side" room the receptionist told us that the "sea-side" does not mean that we will be ablt o see the sea, but that we are "geografically placed toward the sea"!!!! In the pretty unpleasant way (what was the higher price then for???). Only after realy complaining to the service did we get another, very nice and comfortable room with a sea-view.

Beligenhet

Vi hadde bokket 4 hotellrom. Da vi kom var det bare 1 hotell og 3 leilgheterer i leilighetskompleks. Da vi konfronterte resepsjonen med dette, var det lite beklagelse og en elendig kundebehandling. Som kompentasasjon fikk vi gartis middagsbuffet som var elendig !

Jelena the massage therapist who can be booked was fantastic, although doesn't actually work for the hotel.

Although listed as a 4 star hotel, be aware it is a dressed up 2 star with nicer rooms. I arrived at 2pm and wished to have lunch, but was informed the hotel had no restaurant or room service and couldn't offer me any food. Not normally a problem, but I am on crutches so walking to a neighbouring restaurant wasn't feasible. I was in Brac for a christening, so had a nicer event to attend in what is normally a resort/tourist location. Before the event, I asked to have an iron and board sent to my room at the front desk, but was informed they only had one iron, no board and they had no idea where it was, but if I would like, I could walk 400m to their laundry facility and use the one there (again, I'm on crutches and can't carry anything!). Breakfast is beyond basic with the cheapest offerings possible, runs only two hours in lenght and god forbid if you would like some hot water 5 minutes after breakfast hours are over, "breakfast is finished at 10" was what I was told. After midnight it is not possible to get anything to drink, I realised I was out of water, asked to buy a bottle (there are no minibars) and was told everything was locked up a few min before and I would have to wait until morning!
