If you are looking to stay in dubrovnik this is the place to stay! Situated a 15-20min walk from the old city with great views over the town and sea. The apartment has everything you need and is immaculately clean. Nice to sit outside on the terrace and watch the sun go down. Lucijana the hostess is so helpful and friendly and really makes you feel at home. Can't recommend this place more highly, we will definitely be back!
We had a fantastic stay at Kristic, we couldn't fault anything and must say it was probably one of the best apartments we have stayed in. It matched the pictures on the website, was extremely clean and the owner was amazing always checking if we needed anything. It's about a 15 minute walk to the old town, quite a few steps but is not a problem and the walk is very scenic.
Apartment is 10 - 15 mins from the old town.
No private parking space available. If you have a car, you need to account for the parking costs, which are overpriced in Dubrovnik.
Felt at home right away. The host was amazing, perfect location and relaxing atmosphere.Close to Supermarket and the old town. I would definitely stay here again. .
Prior to our trip, apartment Kristic sent us an email with detailed directions to the location, and offered to arrange for pick up and drop off at airport or bus terminal, including a list of the prices, as well as optional excursions such as a trip to Montenegro. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Lucijana. She was very warm and welcoming, offering us cookies and juice once settled. There WS even a complimentary bottle of wine. She gave us a map of the city, pointed out key points of interest, good places to eat and cool bars/clubs to check out. She also directed us to two nearby markets in case we wanted to pick up any snacks. The accommodations were very clean and quite spacious. Towels were provided. Lucijana showed us how to work the AC and the water heater (a switch, which a host at another apartment failed to show us). Throughout our stay, the hosts checked up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. For a cheaper rate than a taxi, we were driven to the airport to catch an early flight home.
Location Cleanliness Friendliness Facilities
The place was very clean, the owner was very friendly and helpful.
The price is a little high but probably in July, Croatia is very expensive. If you compare what you get for this money in Italy, Austria, France, definitely the prices are high and I am considering the entire trip here. Unfortunately with these prices it wont make me visit Croatia twice, even though it is a beautiful country.
The area had some stunning views , the apartment was in a well placed area for what we wanted to see and do. The owners were always available to answer any questions or queries they were welcoming and friendly
Nothing to dislike once we were used to all the steps, but we were forewarned about them as it is very hilly
Firstly, Lucy (the host) was lovely - so helpful and friendly, she also gave us some tips on nice places to eat and visit in the day. The apartment itself is nice and simple - has everything you need. It was also spotless and kept that way throughout our stay. The location is great too - just a 10-15 minute walk to the old town - slightly longer on the way back as much of the apartments in Dubrovnik are built into the hill side. Couldn't recommend the apartment enough - will definitely be back.
The apartment was compact but well designed, nicely decorated and very clean. Luci was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. The kitchen area is small but we just got tea, milk and cereal from the shop around the corner so we could have breakfast. There was a large patio with a table and chairs and an excellent view. You can walk downhill to the Old City or to Gruz in 10 minutes. Everything in the apartment worked fine- air conditioning, tv, shower etc. We stayed a week and the sheets and towels were changed mid-week. Would recommend!
Just a minor thing - the apartment is on a hill so walking back from town is pretty tiring. However, Dubrovnik is just a hilly place, you can't avoid steps no matter where you stay! It might be worth getting a taxi as the review from Clive mentions (although we just walked). Or look into the buses before you get there as it's hard to figure out the route once you're there, they are called Libertas.
We were there 5 days in June. The room was quite big with all comforts and very clean. It was renovated and all furniture were new. The owner Lucy was very friendly and willing to give us all informations we needed. She also helped us with the luggage! We had a spacious balcony.the distance is about 10 minutes walking from the old town. It was a pleasant stay and absolutely recommended.
There was a little problem with the parking but everywhere in dubrovnik is difficult to park your car and also very expensive.
very friendly and helpful staff
risk of stumbling against furniture due to limited maneuvering space;apartment can not be darkened completely due to glass in front door; Ikea-style furniture; small shower
The apartment was spotless, spacious and very well equipped. We got a very warm welcome from Lucy and her father in law. The view was fab. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to the old town downhill, don't know how long it takes to walk back as we got taxis back about €6/8 worth it not to have a steep walk back.
View from balcony. Very comfortable and well equipped though a bit dated. Friendly hosts helped with luggage and took us to the bus station early on the morning of our departure.
Lots of stairs, but worth it for the view. Perhaps a little further from the Old town than expected but certainly close enough to walk if moderately fit. It was quite hot when there in June.
- Super friendly host. - Fantastic service (changing towels and bins every 2 days etc). - Safety of apartment. - Balcony and views. - Spacious size of apartment. - Quiet. - Fully equipped kitchen.
- Very minor points but no DVD player as on the website and a charge to use washing machine.
Our welcome was outstanding. Our apartment was spotless. We were so well looked after and made to feel at home. By the end of each day we looked forward to going back. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend staying there to anyone.
That we should have stayed longer!
Everything was perfect! The apartment position is simply wonderful! Moreover it is just 10 min walking from the old city
Everything! The owner Louise could not do enough for us. We arrived in at midnight after a 3 hour delay and she waited for us and helped us with luggage. Everything you need is in studio. PIctures do not do it justice, it's pretty spacious, bright colours and a lovely patio to sit out on. Brilliant holiday!
Host was really helpful and friendly. She was willing to help us with everything.I could enjoy beautiful view from balcony and there was only fer stairs.I can go to old city with 20minutes walking. Every facilites were very new and clean. I liked everything.
First person could use hot water in shower but the second person had to wait some minutes to have hot water but it was okay. Apart from that it was lovely
Apartment was very clean and host was very kind, but not too much in contact. Old city is 10 min. walk distance.
Wash machine was broken, so our plan should be changed.(hand wash)
Comfortable apartment, good location & extremely helpful and friendly owners.
The apartment is in a great location, easy to find and about a ten minute walk from the old town, twenty minutes from the ferry port and bus terminal. Lots of stairs to climb wherever you are in Dubrovnik however it's worth it for the views, particularly from the balcony of this apartment. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms spacious and clean with fresh towels and sheets regularly provided. A corner shop and small supermarket both within easy walking distance as well as bus stops to most locations. We enjoyed our stay very much and would happily recommend the apartment Kristić to anyone.
The washing machine didn't work on arrival however the owners provided us with everything we needed to sort out the problem.
Halfway between port and old town. Close to supermarkets and had all mod cons. Loved the apartment, would definitely recommend. we stayed another night.
It seems like no one in Europe has a microwave. Not just a Kristic problem! Nothing else, was fantastic.
the owners are very kind. the apartment is nice and clean
The apartment was ideally located 9 minutes walk into the old town of Dubrovnic. A few steps to contend with but if you cant manage steps, Dubrovnic is the wrong destination. The apartment was spotless, plenty of fresh towels and very comfortable. The owners were exceedingley helpful offering advice on restuarants, ferries and taxi's. Would I book this accommodation again? Definitley!
I dont really want to put anything on here but as a Brit' we do like our cups of tea. There was no kettle only pans to boil water.
