We are not into luxury, however, although the price may be regarded as moderate, even then we did expect basic sanitary conditions - and we did not get any. We knew the units were old, which is not a reason to complain in itself HOWEVER it is so thoroughly run-down by neglect that I suspect very few would go back to it, not even for such a wonderful beach.
Entire unit reeks of mold, pillows and mattresses are musty, threadbare carpet in the bedroom stank unbearably, bathroom has not been scrubbed at all - plain filthy, and to top it all, there were some dirty bed sheets on top and behind the closet. The living room armchairs had no covers, which is a health hazard since they must be at least 30 years old.
If and when somebody decides to meet the basic requirements and clean it up (preferably with chlorine and lime), they might consider introducing mosquito nets on the windows and perhaps a payphone at the front desk.
We came here because of the Haludovo beach which is top class if you like pristine nature and a rocky beach without foul smells, vendors of all sorts, crowds and noise. One morning we saw deer coming out of the park, that is how wild it is there.
The park and the birds.
Staff at the reception desk was excellent.
There was hot water
WiFi corner was ok
Beds are real, not fold-outs.
No shops, no fuss, no parties, no loud music.
Parking spaces available.
Would pay more and go back every year if it were clean, too bad it is not.
