Apartments Antonija  

The family that runs the apartments (they live beneath them) is very friendly and accommodating. The room we booked had a sea view and a balcony and the beds were comfortable.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning broke down just before we arrived and there were no other rooms free as it was the hieght of summer. We stayed one night but didn't get much sleep because of the heat. Lucjia was incredibly apologetic and to her credit was quick to remedy the situation by finding us somewhere else to stay. It was with regret that we had to move to another, less attractive apartment -we would have rather stayed where we were. In other words, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it when everything is working (and she said it was the first time in years...)

Good location close to town, lovely views, friendly staff. Comfortable basic room. No concerns.

the place is comfort.nice veranda for breakfest. (supermarket is nearby). easy to reach and park. Mrs. Antonia is kind and helpfull. warmlly recomanded.

The hill up from cavtat is very steep.

Location 1000m from beach, not 400m as advertised- measured in car. Apartment balcony is a good size, but does not have a sea view as advertised, there is however a good view of next door's cabbage patch. The building is constantly noisy as it is right by the main road - so plenty of traffic. Apartment badly finished - very amateurishly done. A large chunk of the apartment is taken up by a corridor between the shower room and the bedroom, which seems a lot of wasted space. The corridor contains the old fashioned kitchenette at one end. The shower room has live cables handing from the walls and the shower head holder sits on wall at waist height, no idea why. There is no hot water in taps, but the cold is plenty warm enough. No seating area inside the apartment and just an old fashioned 14" crt tv. In summary a overpriced apartment in a poor location with misleading description and of a poor standard. We had three nights booked and checked out after just one. Very disappointed.

Convenient for Durovnik airport.

Very basic, with no glasses, cutlery or plates, although a fridge.

On our arrival in Cavtat, Antonija very kindly met us at Bus Station and on our departure drove us to Dubrovnik Airport.

The apartments are very nice but there is a difficult climb uphill from Cavtat town centre. Apartments may not be suitable for persons with mobility problems.

We were only there for one night and luckily spotted the sign for it whilst on the bus so quickly jumped off. Otherwise it would have been very difficult to find, although the owner did say she would collect us from the bus stop in the town centre. The location isnt bad but its a very steep walk back up the hill however we didnt mind that as you get a nice view.

Una habitación muy confortable con una terraza increible. Fantástico!

Hay que subir una calle empinada desde el centro, pero la mayoría de apartamentos y habitaciones se encuentran igual.

bonne situation pour visiter dubrovnik. parking privé, superbe terrasse , vue sur mer. Chambre bien équipée. Rien à dire tout était très bien.

Monipuolinen ruokakauppa ja bussipysäkki ovat ihan vieressä. Huoneessamme oli todella iso parveke, jossa oli kaksi aurinkotuolia sekä pöytä ja tuolit. Paikan omistaja oli oikein ystävällinen ja hänen keittiöstään sai lainata ruokailuvälineitä aamupalaa varten.

Huoneiston sijainti on hieman sivussa (mäen päällä) kaupungin keskustaan nähden. Lentokenttäkuljetus 5 kilometrin päähän maksoi 15 €.

Appartement choisi car proche de l'aéroport de Dubrovnik, idéal pour les départs le lendemain matin très tôt. Accueil chaleureux et chambre agréable.

Maison située en plein couloir aérien, à 10 min à pieds du port.

The Staff were lovely and wifi was available.

the detached bathroom and lack of blankets in room but overall good value.

Chambre petite et assez laide. Chère pour l'offre. J'avais cru qu'il s'agissait d'un hôtel. Or c'est une chambre chez l'habitant!!!!

Very pleasant and accommodating staff.

Treck back up from town center to the apartment- it was fine but not if you forgot something.

We liked everything. We were welcomed very nicely, everything was set in just half an hour, we received extra plates, kettle, tableware and even wine glasses to be able to prepare our own breakfast and in the evenings enjoy the Croatian wine. Our room was quite big, with comfortable beds, TV, airconditioning, fridge, a big terrace viewing on the seaside and sunsets! The daughter of the owner is also very sweet and helpful, always positive and giving a good advice. Very nice stay. Thank you Antonija! :)

Some people may complain about the planes landing nearby to Cavtat. Indeed, you hear them but you hear them not only in Cavtat but I am sure that also in Dubrovnik and for us it was not very uncomfortable because the first ones to land are around 9-10 and the last ones about 22-23. You should consider it though if you plan to stay there for more than couple of days and if you are very sensitive to noises.

Nice sea views. Close to supermarket, very handy.

The air conditioning didn't work.

le balcon et la vue sur la mer. Dans la chambre avec grand balcon, on peut manger sur le balcon. L'immeuble est en retrait de la rue, donc c'est très calme. On peut aller à la plage à pied et la supérette est en bas de l'immeuble, Très bon accueil lors de notre arrivée. Très pratique pour visiter Dubrovnik et le Montenegro pour un court séjour.

Equipement en couverts et en tasses à améliorer si c'est possible.
