Excellent accommodation right in the heart of the old town. Tonci was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. Clean, comfortable and would recommend without hesitation

This beautiful apartment was right in the middle of Old Town, couldn't ask for a better location. Tonci met us at the gate and was very kind and helpful. The apartment is beautiful, big and very nicely furnished. The bathroom is gorgeous, the kitchen space means you can cook if you want to and everything was very clean. The perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik.

Place was excellent in the middle of old town and flat spacious, bright and very clean. We enjoyed to look at the life on the square. Host and hostess were very friendly. Just lovely place!

Owners very friendly- picked us up from bus station. I was travelling with my mother. Location perfect. Nice, clean room. We recommend warmly!

The apartment manager was very accommodating. Some nice details like a few beers in the fridge and nibbles. Clean, comfortable and central.

The location situated in the middle of the old town, within minutes walking distance to the harbour and the beautiful sights and restaurants of Dubrovonik are literally on your door-step. The Apartments were lovely and clean and the beds very comfortable. The owner Tonci and his Wife were very helpful and informative, and even picked us up and took us back to the airport for a very fair price.

I really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurants/cafes that lined the square where the apartments were located (noise was not an issue). They were close to all the sites and it was great to be able to return to your accommodation when it got too hot or you wanted a siesta before going out again! The owners were very nice and helpful. The apartment itself was very comfortable and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I ever went back.

There are no lifts in the apartments so you may have to go up three flights of stairs to reach your aparment however that is not unusual in the old town, some apartments have lots of stairs just to get to the front door which was not the case with Apartments Placa. I wouldn't let that put you off ( unless you really can't physically walk up that many stairs) it is a great location.

It's location was superb, inside the city walls. Everything right at your feet .

The bed was far too short and creaked every time we turned. Spoilt a very pleasant stay. Must get better beds in which case the apartments would be absolutely superb.

Great location, very nice and clean room with a good organized bathroom & wc. It was September, we did not need to have to turn on air condition.

The owner was very helpful with our luggage and making suggestions for restaurants and local eateries. She met us at the taxi stand upon our arrival and helped carry our luggage and again helped with our luggage when we left. She would not accept a tip. The apartment was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was great.

The location was really fantastic. It is literally in the heart of the old town, so when we were tired of walking around in the blazing sunshine, we could just came back to our room and took a rest in the air conditioner. Tonci was very friendly, he gave us lots of informations about Dubrovnik, and it was helpful. And he drove us to the airport on the last day for reasonable price.

Furnitures are worn out. The price are a little bit pricey, but affordable considering the location.

Excellent, this is the place to stay in Dubrovnik!!! Superb location in the heart of the old town. Very welcome arrival. We stayed for the first night of our honeymoon and I was given a chocolate bouquet and we had beers in the fridge. Room had lots of character and lovely view from window. We just wished we stayed longer. Highly, highly recommend!!

Fantastic location right in the heart of old Dubrovnik. Great selection of restaurants in the square outside. Very clean, comfortable room with good air conditioning. Tonci and his wife were very welcoming and met us at the ferry port, saving us a hot bus or taxi ride into the city centre.

Great location if you stay is centred around the old city, would be inconvenient if you are planning day trips to the islands of Mjlet or Korcula and need to be at the ferry port early in the morning.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the old town with the added advantage of being able to walk from the city gates to the apartment without having to negotiate any steps. Helpful and friendly owner and a very comfortable apartment.

owner was very nice and waited for me untill 10 at night as my bus was late on arrival. If you preferred not to walk very far to old city sites and could manage the stairs...3 flgihts...and were a night owl...then this is the place for you!

In noisy location so could not leave window open. matress was a bit worn with a bit of a banana bend. old fashioned and needed updating

Air conditioning, location, location, location, and high ceilings with charming old world character. Perfect stay.

Helpful owners who even carried our suitcases up the (many) flights of stairs and allowed us to leave our bags before check in. The apartment was right in the middle of the old town and was really clean and beautiful.

Fantastic location and very comfortable. Quite pricey for one night, however reasonsble given Dubrovnik standards. Would definitely stay there again.

Tonci was extremely helpful. This was the first place we stayed on our honeymoon to Croatia and he answered all of our questions about navigating Dubrovnik. When we decided we were going to stay longer than planned, he was booked but helped us find another great apartment right next door. Location is in the heart of the city. Keep in mind Dubrovnik is not flat, so try to stay close to the center. Some reviews say it's noisy, but this is really only true when people are still eating dinner in the square below. If you don't go to bed before 10pm, you'll never notice. Very clean and modern bathroom. Plenty of space. My favorite part of staying here was the look on other tourist's faces when they saw us entering our apartment right on the square. They were probably staying half a mile away and uphill.

The air conditioning doesn't keep the room cold when it's 90F outside, but this was only a minor inconvenience.
