Rooms combine Austria-Hungarian tradition with the contemporaneous elegance. Bright and spacious, most of them own private balcony overlooking the emerald waters of Adriatic Sea and 2015 years old town.In the slow food restaurant, along with finest wines, various delicacies of island cuisine with fresh Mediterranean taste and international ones will be served.

Arbiana hotel can trace its history back to 1924 when it 1st opened as the Hotel Bristol, quickly earning a reputation for elegance and excellence which continues to this day. During the year 2006, the hotel was completely renovated. The original architecture has been completely conserved, whereas all of the 28 rooms, including 4 suites and a presidential suite, have been refurbished and are decorated to the highest standards of luxury and comfort

Food & beverage

The Arbiana Hotel restaurants are suitable for all generations and all tastes. Whether you are looking for local specialities, a quick innovative snack or high quality fast food, everyone will leave satisfied.

The Marino’s Restaurant welcomes its guests in a warm and elegant atmosphere. During summer, you can enjoy your meal on the beautiful terrace surrounded by the medieval city walls and enchanted by Mediterranean sounds and scents. Local cuisine based on meat and fish will delight all lovers of typical Mediterranean food. Dalmatian raw ham (prosciutto) with "porcini" from the Velebit mountain surprises with the aroma of the woods, of ginger and red pepper. Risotto with scampi from the Kvarner golf garnished with fried courgette fillets are a great option for all, who prefer a lighter cuisine. Sea bream in a potato and radicchio crust with chard and raisins or delicious a fillet steak in mushroom cream with "prosecco" dry wine from the island Hvar represent just a glance at the restaurant’s specialities menu.

The restaurant serves breakfast from 7:00 to 11:00. Lunch is served from 12:00 to 14:00 and dinner from 18.30 to 23:00.

Those who do not wish to slow down but want to enjoy a quick snack are invited to Marino’s Bar, where we offer different kinds of tasty appetizers all day long. Marino’s Bar is also the right place to sip an aperitif before dinner or to chill out with a sweet dreams cocktail before going to sleep.

For the younger ones and those who prefer fast food without having to spare high quality products, the Bristol Bar & Grill offers specialities like hamburger, beefsteak, baked potatoes, fried carrots, chips and other dishes.

The island of Rab is situated in the southern Kvarner gulf, on the foothills of the magnificent Velebit mountain. Together with Dolin, Goli Otok, Maman, Grgur, Trstenik, Dolfin and 27 other islands and islets, this island is forming the Rab archipelago. Rab enchants with mostly Mediterranean climate, mild winters and hot summers, with more than 10 sun hours per day. This is the reason why Rab is called “the sunny island”.

When we arrived we were informed that no room was available and unfortunatley we had to spend the first night at an alternative (very reasonable) residence. This was provided free of charge and we received a discount for the remainder two nights. The situation was resolved amicably and we have no complaints about the final outcome but it does seem odd that the reservation was not complied with.	9.5
