could improve on dinners, however not by any means a complaint . you all do a wonderfull job and thks to you all
The location, the sea view, the discrete and very good service. We loved the Breakfast buffet. Great SPA!
Check in took an hour. We were very kindly offered a welcome drink but there were only 3 families before us and it was a bit long. Otherwise no complaints.
Loved the Location The hotel breakfasts were lovely....even had proper muesli and fresh fruit. lovely rooms and very clean
there was no beach pools were dirty but it was late oct so no one was swimmimg so I assume that was why
Clean, spacious room, beautiful view from the balcony. The fact the hotel was located away from the busy city centre.
Good location, bus line # 6 final stop near the Hotel. Peacuful place, no "extra" noises. Nice pool and swimming place in sea, even not actual beach.
Received an upgrade on arrival to a suite at their sister hotel the Royal Princess next door. The Royal Princess was quiet, and the suite was spacious and very comfortable. The large balcony had sun loungers, a table and chairs. Great views of the ocean. Room service meals were unusually good. Bus stop near by for convenient transport to the Old Town.
Everything was great! We had booked a romantic room for our honeymoon on Hotel Ariston, but were upgraded to Royal Princess. Rooms were great, view was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was good, and the dinner at the hotel's restaurant really good. Didn't expect that for a hotel restaurant. The spa wasn't anything amazing, but enough for us. Good transportation to the old city, and nice restaurants in a 15 minute walking distance.
Great location good breakfast ,but I will say thus is a 4 star not 5 star hotel
On the day we due to check out ,but we were lock out after breakfast 7:30 and no attendant in housekeeping, no phone in the long corridor , we have to walk back to the reception to get them to open the door for us,which was very stressful, cause we have a morning flight to catch, it could have been worse ! That nearly upset our trip
Excellent hotel with a beautiful sun bathing area on the rocky beach and a nice selection of restaurants.
Fantastic big clean rooms with great view of the ocean. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade and had a spa on our patio which was amazing. Please note however the hotel is part of the importanne group of which multiple hotels are within a short walk of each other. We were booked at the Ariston however our room was in the Royal Princess (which was even nicer from what I've heard so that was a bonus). The town is not within walking distance however there are buses every 20 minutes which you can catch directly from the hotel and only takes 10/15 mins to town. Beautiful will definitely stay there again as such a relaxing place.
The room we had was truly lovely with the sun most of the day and we sat and watched sunset on balcony most evenings. The location from old town was perfect as not too far and a great and bus service, even into the wee late hours
Had problem noisy people in room next to us for last 2 nights, they disturbed all surrounding rooms. We complained and hotel staff did nothing about it and never even got back to us, we had to hassle them. I did not think staff were overly friendly. I definitely would not rate this hotel 5 star, more like a 3 to 4. They advertise table tennis which consists of a table in conference room with bats that are falling apart and table was removed for 2 week of our stay as conference on. We only did breakfast thankfully as not the most exciting of choice. I would say nice hotel but not good value for money and would not recommend to friends and family
The staff were excellent, very helpful. The facilities were also great - we used the pools, gym, spa and restaurants.
We were upgraded to the Royal Princess and had a fantastic suite, which was really luxurious, so very lucky. Fantastic sea swimming directly from hotel, climbing a ladder straight into deep water. Good breakfast too, only always a struggle to get coffee when you wanted it as it was poured out by staff rather than a pot put on the table. Very comfortable and easy to get into Dubrovnik by bus or on foot.
From the moment we checked in we knew we'd like the place. The head guy, Kreso, was warm, funny, and very professional.we were checked in, had a great breakfast, the hotel wasn't crowded so ( we think) he upgraded our room which was clean, new, and had a wonderful view. Later, I asked about getting a bus to Split. He asked when we wanted to go and after I told him he said he'd get back to me. 3 minutes later he called me and said we were reserved at the time we wanted. That's service! Our bellman, Darko, was super helpful. You can tell that everyone from the top down was well-trained to know just what to do. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
We didn't stay longer.
Very friendly staff, clean hotel and great location.
Lovely room with stunning views overlooking the sea. Nice walkway along the sea into town.
Reception staff not very informative. Only found out on our last night that bus tickets cheaper if bought in hotel!! No one told us about the stunning walkway into town. Cleaners used side store beside our room from 6.30 every morn & where quite noisy...
Nice room with a sea view (tough it was obstructed by all the restaurants). Big breakfast buffet. Bus to the city center very close
Part of a complex of hotels, very commercial and cold. Buffet style restaurant. Close to restaurants from neighbouring hotels, but very mediocre quality. Not half as good as it looks on photo
views shower/tub great quiet gave us free bottled water when flooding caused problem with drinking water
small door area to come into lobby with luggage
We really appreciated the position and the services of the hotel, as the swimming pool and the private beach. Rich breakfast with a nice view on the seaside
Nothing to highlight
The staff at the Royal Princess hotel were outstanding. Neva and Mirjana were attentive to our every request and accommodating - thank you! We also had a surprise upgrade to the Presidential suite which is simply amazing from the Ariston hotel to the Royal Princess hotel all affiliated with the Importanne Resort. Views from the balcony and rooms were beautiful and picturesque - our whole - we had a second suite room that was very impressive - all was great value- the pools and sea side swimming was all enjoyed by our family - we thank the Royal Princess staff for the wonderful hospitality and great stay.
That we had to checkout. We did not want to leave.
Location, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, facilities. There's a short (safe) walk around the cliff to Lapad, and a bus to old town Dubrovnik every 10 mins (runs until 0230hrs), so its a great location.
Nothing; tried hard to think of something and just can't. A truly memorable hotel.
Great views Huge room Friendly staff Very clean
Bar wasn't open late enough
We were upgraded to the Princess Hotel on arrival and upgraded to a very large suite. As we were n honeymoon, the hotel had rose petals on the bed with a bottle of chamgagne and nibbles. Restaurants all nearby. Close to bus stop and buses are every 10 mins into the old town. Staff are very friendly and helpful!
- great location - nice beach on rocks - beautifull view
