Hotel was very nice

Breakfast, we were told, was until 10:00 a.m. However when we got there at 9:30 a.m. Staff had already started to pick up and we were rushed to eat.

- No wi-fi in the room - the pool is in works and when we made the reservation nobody informed us about that - bad breakfast: until 10am was 9h30 and there was a few things to choose

Great location, very close to the old town of Dubrovnik and Cavtat. Great to walk around to little villages, shops, cafés and restaurants. Super relaxing environment.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The shuttle service to Dubrovnik and Cavtat was excellent and the drivers were all lovely and helpful.

The restaurant food was awful. Unfortunately none of the beach restaurants were open so early in the season so there was no alternative except to go back out in the evening.

The hotel is very good, one of the best on the seaside. It's my second time in Astarea eight years after the first arrival. We had a bungalow right next to the sea side which was fantastic.The food was good, an excellent choice of dishes at lunchtime and dinner. Very many facilities including a swimming pool with sea water, gym, sauna etc. Friendly staff.

Wasn't very happy with a sewage system working a 5:45 a.m. every morning very noisely. The maid sometimes forgot to change the towels and sweep the floor. Had to ask her several times to do that.

Great location and facilities. Good transport link to Dubrovnik and airport. Mlini village is beautiful and not too "touristy".

Pleasant, friendly resort. Although the restaurant could be very busy at times the staff coped very well and I thought the hotel food excellent value for money. The hotel is in a good location for walking .(to other beaches) or for boat trips. An enjoyable stay and would recommend to others.

While we were there the area experienced a heat wave so it would have made things a little more comfortable if we could have been able to control the air-conditioning to change the settings to a colder setting.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming would definitely recommend it and would love to come again

Very comfortable hotel, pleasant and friendly staff, quiet and picturesque location.

A comfortable hotel with good facilities with good access to the beaches and Dubrovnik. We enjoyed using the hotel as a base to explore other areas. We stayed in the annex and liked the view from our balcony over Mlini Bay. For those planning to use this hotel, there is a shuttle service to Dubrovnik for 50k per person and they with take you and collect you at certain times. We found this useful as we didn't have to worry about driving our rental vehicle into Dubrovnik. Parking at the hotel is ample and quite safe.

Perhaps our only complaint was that the hotel is used by a lot of tour companies and the restaurant staff hardly had enough time to clear the tables at breakfast time- we often cleared and created our own space at the table- other than that, we were happy with the service we received

The hotel was easy access for the bars and beach, friendly staff and nice restaurants close by

There was a shortage of food on the breakfast buffet, sometimes having to queue for refilling the dishes, not as much selection as last year. I noticed several people overfilling their plates and returning for a refill, I do not overeat and thought this quite frustrating having to queue to ensure a small size meal. I also noticed regular people filling their bags to take out

The worse hotel I have been the reception st staff are evil and were the worse I have seen

Hotellihuoneessa ei ollut jääkaappia eikä hotellissa myymälää, josta olisi saanut esim. vettä tai muuta juotavaa ja pientä purtavaa. Markettiin oli aika pitkä kävelymatka.

AMEX karticom sam rezervirao hotel ASTAREA, 5 jednokrevetnih soba, prvo s 13 na 14.03.2013. Nakon toga sam rezervaciju prebacio na 17/18.03.13. ali za četvoricu kolega. U hotelu sam doživio iznenađenje kada sam vidio da mi je s računa već skinuta i 5 soba a kolega je morao odustati od puta. Ove novce ne mogu refundirati u firmi. Ukoliko mi ovaj novac za nerealizirane usluge ne vratite ja sigurno neću više ovako rezervirati hotel. Ja sam inače ovo trebao platiti gotovinom ali brzina uzimanja novca me iznenadila. Molim da mi se očitujete o ovome u što bržem roku. Radi carinskih formalnost neki put nam je na put teško otići po planu. Za sada toliko, lijep pozdrav

Die Lobby war schön.

Die Zimmer waren klein. Die Klimaanlage hat nicht die Abkühlung gebracht, die man sich erwartet. Im Umkreis von ca 30 cm war es kühl, der Rest des Zimmers war eine Sauna. Man hat sie bestenfalls als "Minibar" benutzen können. Das Frühstück war nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Auf die Reinigung des Balkons musste man mehrmals hinweisen. Das Personal war teilweise völlig inkompetent. Der Strand war überfüllt und das Wasser nicht sauber. Das Internet ging meistens nicht und es gab nur einen PC. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht - völlig überteuert die Bude.
