We were pleased that we chose a room with a balcony because the view over the harbour was excellent. There is 'buy-in' to the ethos of the national park in which the hotel is located. Nearby restaurants are able to offer excellent quality and variety. The hotel is very popular with groups which led to bottlenecks at breakfast - not helped by an early-morning powercut |

Convinient position and good food, as well as previous experience - few years ago. I did not get the ocean view room with the balcony which I particulary asked for at my booking. Also, we got 2 single beds instead of queen size! Suige smell. |

The location of the hotel is just lovely, in a beautiful bay where you could admire the sunsets, and the sea is so blue and clear. We requested a room with balcony and great sea view, and that is exactly what we were given. The salt-water lakes are within easy walking distance where you can swim, hire kayaks and cycles, and are well worth a visit. As well as the restaurant and pizzeria at the hotel, there are quite a few other restaurants along the front/promenade, where you can eat fantastic fresh fish and seafood. The Energy Clinic, where you could get massages, etc., didn't look very appealing as it was just a small building tucked away at the back of the hotel, and was located next to what looked like a noisy caged generator. Hardly a place for peace and relaxation. The Clinic should be in a more prominent position and made to look more attractive. |

the staff was friendly. Everything was horrible except staff. The whole building desperately needs a renovation. Room was musty, mold on ceilings, refrigerator was gross and obviously has not been cleaned in ages (or ever), door to deck didn't lock properly, they had plumbing problems - no water for most of the morning, the food in the restaurant was barely edible. Unfortunately, they are the only hotel on the island. Wish we would've researched private apartments/sobe. |

We booked a seaview room with a balcony - the most expensive option but worth it. The room and bathroom were both clean and furnished to a high standard. Bed was large and comfy. The air-con worked fine - not too noisy. Several nice public terracess with loungers. Staff very helpful. The hotel location is excellent - just near the national park. Mljet is an expensive island. The hotel was not overpriced considering what it provided and it's location. There were noisy deliveries early some mornings just below our room. No proper coffee or toast for breakfast. Breakfast generally could be better. |

Nice location, at the entrance to the National Park of Mljet. The hotel is complemety overpriced, as the standard is not up to what it costs. The breakfast buffet is of very cheap quality. As this is the only hotel on Mljet, I would rather try to find private accomodation next time. |

The position of the hotel is ideal - it's right on the sea front and there is always lots going on with boats coming in and out of the harbour. There are plenty of local reayaurants close by offering good quality reasonably priced meals. It is in a national park and there is stunning scenery a short walk away with 2 lakes for swimming. The sunset from our sea view room was just perfect. We only stayed for bed and breakfast and the buffet breakfast was not always a pleasant experience. Food would frequently run out and you had to ask for more - it was reluctantly given. It was NOT a four star hotel as it sometimes claims if you do your research. The airconditioning unit in the room was ineffective and sounded as if it was going to blow up at any time. |

nothing in the hotel, fortunately the island is greatful Unconfortable beds, very old bathroom, bad smell in the corridors, towels broken,... It is 3 stars hotel, but in my opinion is worse than a B&B. |

The buffet dinner was good Beds, cushions, cleanliness and quality of the rooms were inferior for the price charged. We had no alternative but to book this hotel as it is the only hotel on the island. |

Mljet Island is well worth a visit (for the day) Dirty, uncomfortable, mould, ants, live wires, broken furniture, bed falling to pieces, smell from bathroom, hotel from hell. |

I lopved the location; the quiet, the peace. Bar/services closing at 11. Would have liked a public transport system to visit other places, like Sobra etc. |

When booked through booking.com the price was given in Euro. It did not say however that there was a compulsary charge for access into the national park. This was priced in Kuna, but when got the bill they had changed it to Euro (thus them getting more money from us!). When we queried this they did eventually change it back to Kuna, but were not happy about it. No where in the info was mention of this 'compulsary' charge. |

Henkilökunnan erinomainen englanninkielen taito ja palvelualttius. Huoneeseen meno edellytti lukuisten portaiden käyttöä. Aamiaisella ei ollut tuoreita vihanneksia. Sisäänkirjoittautumisen yhteydessä meille annettiin luonnonsuojelualueen passit, jolloin meille jäi vaikutelma, että ne sisältyvät huoneen hintaan. Mutta nuo liput veloitettiin kuitenkin myöhemmin loppulaskussa. |
