Authentic Luxury Rooms  

Our stay was fantastic! The owners emailed us before arrival to ask if we had any special requests; when we arrived is Split and could not find the hotel, the owner came to us and escorted us back to the hotel and then spent 20 minutes detailing the sites in Split, restaurants, and other places to visit. We asked about staying on the way back through Split but unfortunately they were booked. Instead, they found another place close by and handled the arrangements for us. Our room was very nice, clean, and had a newly renovated bathroom - and it all is within a 5 minute walk to the old city center. This was one of the most pleasant stays we have had.

Wow! Such genuinely kind people. The staff at Authentic could not have done anything more for us. Most staff in most hotels will react to requests, or solve problems but here at Authentic, the staff always seemed to be thinking of ways to offer information before asking; to mention things that we hadn't realised we needed to know. An ability to create a genuinely comfortable atmosphere for guests is so rare, but not rare here. Authentic should never have an empty room. It deserved to be full all the time. Location: within 10 minutes walk you can be in the heart of Split's Old Town, on a ferry, on the airport bus, on a train or sitting in any number of restaurants or bars. Room: so beautifully designed to capture the history of the building combined with all the facilities that you need in a 4* room. Luxury indeed!!

First visual and finding the location was interesting. We had come from the Hilton in Dubrvnik which was `top shelf` and appearance wise the comparison was districtly different. However the room was adequate for a two day stay. The staff assistance and advice provided was excellent. Location was very good as we were there to see Split and the main attraction of the City. It was reasonable value for money.

We would question the 4 star rating.

Beautiful room, best location (close to everthing), very friendly and helpful staff. Super chices Hotel, sehr sehr schön eingerichtet, Service 1a, freundlich, jede Location einfach zu erreichen (zu Fuss, Auto etc.) Wirklich zu empfehlen !

Everything was wonderful, great start, beautiful and comfortable rooms, very nice massage shower and only 2 min walking distance to city centre and Diocletian palace. I highly reccommend Authentic!

Wonderful find! We loved staying here and wish it could have been for more than one night/day. The staff was excellent, Mario met us at the door and gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful and friendly in pointing out the sites of Split. The room was extremely nice and very charming, the location unbeatable. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Split - thanks so much again, wonderful stay!

the owners were amazingly helpful if there was anything you needed, information, if you wanted another egg at breakfast and they were out mario would just jump on his bike and go to the market and back in 5minst their attention to detail was excellent.The rooms were ,comfortable ,spacious, clean,fresh,functional,and looked great.The position was also excellent quiet, but so close to the old city, harbour and ferries.Could'nt find a thing to complain about.

this was not something i did,t like ...just study your map to find them before you have been there you look at a map and picture roads like at home not narrow cobbled roads .

Rooms - very clean and cozy and modern. Very airy. Location perfect - right between the beachside and the Diocletian Palace. Staff great - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Service - best service I ever had at a hotel. Breakfast - great choice of Breakfast buffet, great coffee.

Roko and Ivana and the other staff members were so sweet, helpful and accomodating. The room was absolutely beautiful, and the location (halfway between the Diocletian Palace and Bacvice Beach) was perfect for our family's needs. The kids loved the luxury shower (complete with radio!). Our family liked how the hotel is not isolated from the residential daily life of the ancient city of Split. It's literally smack dab in the middle of it, yet is still an oasis of rest for the weary traveler.

There was some construction going on right across from the hotel that sometimes created a lot of noise (jack-hammering). However, it was never begun too early in the morning.

Amazing hospitality. The staff were wonderful. The room was fantastic too, very cosy and comfortable, exactly what we needed.

Authentic suites were excellent would highly recommend them. We arrived earlier than our check in time and were made to feel at home and allowed to leave our bags there until the room was free. When we returned to check in our bags were in our room. The next morning we left before breakfast started but were given a packed breakfast.Staff were very friendly if I'm in Split again I would stay here again. Plus it's in a great location.
