This hotel was a little expensive for a holiday hotel, but we certainly received value for money! The spa + treatments were fantastic (we tried the big package and loved it!) and the meals on the terass in the evenings were magnificent. The restaurant was many times better than at the usual grill/restaurant, but not that much more expensive. Nothing! It was a pity that there were no balconies in the rooms, but this is an old protected building that doesn't fit with such amenities. The terass/courtyard was a good alternative for an evening drink. |

Excellent location - next to the Garden Bar, terrific service and helpful staff as well. We used it as a stopover on the first night on our way south, and liked it so much we booked again for the return flight. Zadar is a very under-rated city - well worth a couple of days visit. |

The hotel is gorgeous. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is AMAZING. The location is great, convenient to the old town, the boats, and the sea organ. Free internet in the rooms, and very elegant decor. Thank goodness for the A/C, we were there during a heat wave! |

Staff friendly, hotel is well designed and ambience luxurious. Position in Zadar town centre can not be bettered. Internet problem despite having a LAN connection in every room. Staff would not admit there was a problem although other guests also said they were having difficulty and we had to use wireless in the lobby instead. |

The location is the main reason we stayed at the hotel.It is very central in the historic quarter of Zadar.A good quality hotel. |

Hotel Bastion is a lovely hotel. The restaurant serves some very good food and isn't too expensive. Breakfast was a treat. It was literally in the old town of Zadar. A very pleasant place to stay. |

The hotel is located in a nice location, a few minutes walk to the old town and shopping centre. The staffs are all very friendly and food in the restaurant is of a high standard. The wellness area is not included which is a pity. |

Very nice hotel, a bit funky/baroque. super clean, all new. Nice bar and restaurant. Excellent location although a good quality mattress, it was a bit soft for me |
