From the moment we arrived the staff were very welcoming, we were on Honeymoon and really made to feel special. Any dealing with the hotel employees from bar staff to concieage and spa etc they were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful location, over looking a little bay with private beach access and a indoor pool and hot tub with views which would be hard to rival. Its about a 10 - 15 minute walk to Pile gate into the pold town, which was easy but on occasion we hopped onto the bus (i.e when I was wearing heels at night) and these were regular and have you in old town in 2 mins. The rooms were clean and well presented and well serviced. We actually couldn't say enough good things about our stay here and really made our Honeymoon special. We would struggle to come up anything we didn't like about the hotel, the only possible thing is for me personally I would have liked the pool and hpot tub warmer but then we were early in the season so can only imagine in height of summer they are warm enough!

A wonderful Hotel, great staff, nice food, great beach and a stroll to the Old City. Not a complaint, but may I suggest to Hotel Management that it would be good to have a few more traditional Dalmatian meal options on the menu....we mostly ate out because the menu was very "modern International"....and we can eat this anywhere.

Staff we superb andlooked after us so well on our 2 week honeymoon. Everyone was so friendly and thoughtful taking the initative to make our stay perfect. More choice of films and satelite TV would have been nice but hardly mattered to us as we were looked after so well and had a wonderful time. I strongly recommend the place under the current team.

The room was nice, well decorated, nice balcony with a wonderful view. The amenities from LÓccitane were a plus.Staff very helpfull. Breakfast was very complete with a quick replacement of the items. The swimming pool and the spa were fantastic, don´t leave the hotel without having a massage, it´s super. The restaurant served te best food from our entire vacation, specially the desert. Located about a 20 min walk to the old town. Nothing to complain, hope to come back.

Walking distance of old town. Stunning situation. All bedrooms have sea view. Pleasant and helpful staff who were always quick to respond. Nice range of toiletries. Dressing gown and slippers provided. Always plenty of towels both in room and pool and sunbathing areas. Loungers would be more comfortable with a mattress.

This was the best city break we've had and one of the main reasons for this is that the Hotel Bellevue was the perfect place to stay. All rooms are set overlooking a stunning bay, the staff are helpful and friendly and its the perfect distance from the old town (the 12 minute walk along the coast was also picturesque) Your drinks are over priced. We would have enjoyed the hotel bar more if the drinks prices were reasonable.

Excellent hotel in great location 800m from City Centre and on seafront. Easy walk to town and back during day but worth taking bus back at night. Very happy with everything at hotel in particular the staff who were always very helpful. Would definately stay here again. Pricey but must be on a par with other similar hotels in the area.

Very nice views from the main reception rooms. the bed rooms were comfortable but dull. We did not want to stay in the room as we felt it quite cell like. Beds were comfortable but the water pressure in the shower was barely adequate. Breakfast was also very dull and there did'nt appear to be much effort in replenishing the hot buffet after 9.30 even though breakfast was until 10.30. The best thing about hotel was the bay and the small beach as it was so relaxing. Water pressure in shower and breakfast was boring

The room was spacious and comfortable, the views were phenomenal. The beach (though rocky) was fabulous. We ate dinner on the terrace....it was expensive but the food was great and the view was out of this world.

nice view - not from all rooms; comfortable rooms; very nice staff (concierge and messenger/courier); good breakfast; good welcome; parking lot very near the hotel the recepcionists are not friendly, i paid for a room with sea view and they put me in a room (701) with sky view, the recepcionist wasn't nice when i asked to change rooms, they weren't nice during the check in and check out either; the shower and air conditioning could be much better;

rather close to the old town, nice view from the room, nice lobby, friendly staff not worth the price, the service and especially the cleanliness are not 5 star, the hotel would need someone to better look after some details

I liked the service, reception very pleasant, Guy called Robert was most helpfull . Good location, with excellant views of the beech and the coast. Cleaning standard was poor. Dust under the bed and furniture. Bedroom slippers were all same size, much to big for a woman! Hotel beach was full of cigarettes ends and could have been kept cleaner. If smoking is to be allowed you need to fit some ashtrays and put up signs prohibitting people throwing cigarettes ends and rubbish

Location - very good access to old town and nice beach below. There are not that many beaches so it is great to have such easy access. (Note that although the hotel says "secluded beach", it is not a private beach and quite a few locals use the beach as well.) Beautiful sea views of the Dubrovnik riviera from our room and from other parts of the hotel. The hotel was very clean. Very good facilities. Breakfasts were good; did not eat a lot at the hotel other than breakfast, the food seemed excellent in both the main restaurant and on the beach restaurant. Service was very good and staff friendly and efficient (although that sums up all the restaurants and bars that we ate / drank in during our holiday). Towels for the beach and sunbeds /umbrellas were supplied by hotel at no extra cost. All in all we had a great stay here. Lovely hotel but I would consider this hotel to be a very good 4-star, not 5-star. Nothing wrong with that but just not sure 5-star is accurate. Hotel description says "walking distance from old town" but it is worth noting that the footpath gets very narrow at times. If you have small children or are unsure of your footing (E.G. due to having had a couple of beers!) I would advise catching the bus in and out of town which is very cheap (10 kuna = £1 per journey). At times on the footpath there is barely room for one person to pass another going in the opposite direction with big buses going past very close to you. I am 43 and able-bodied and found this a bit hairy. The number 4 bus stops virtually outside the hotel and if you walk a little towards the town to the next bus stop, lots of other buses stop so you only have to wait a few minutes for the bus into the old town.
